Libertia's pov
Time flew by so fast, my boy Rai is now 1 year old.
Raizel is a genius after learning how to walk, he quickly learned how to write albeit sloppily, and reading soon after without anyone teaching him.
My guess is that he learned writing,by watching me because I sometimes work while he's at my lap, and learned how to read because the head maid rebbeca is reading him books everyday
I still remember when he first called me 'mama' and all the things that happened last year. I couldn't help but feel happy.
Flashback
I was working in my office while, Rai was in his crib sitting,playing with a rattle.
Rai stopped playing with the toy so I looked at him, he was mumbling something.
"Mmm" "ma" when I heard him said 'ma' I stood up from my seat and went to carry him. "That's right ma-ma, I'm your ma-ma" I told him trying to have him say 'mama'.
"Mammm"Rai said.
"Ma-ma" I said again
He pinched his eyebrows slightly before opening his mouth again.
"ma-ma" "mama" he said and laughed
I was delighted when he said 'mama'.
I laughed with him,
"That's right I'm your mama,good job Rai"
I said kissing him all over his face, which he giggles at.
Rai was 6 months old when I saw him flipping himself over to his chest, I watched him worriedly. When he succeed he push himself up with his arms and legs slowly moving forward to get his toy.
I smiled at my little Rai's achievement
I went to him and carried him.
"Good job Rai!" I pinched his nose and Rai laughed.
Rai was now 11 months old
I saw him grabbing the sofa for support and slowly stood up. I was shocked little Rai wasn't even a year old, but watched my son who looks motivated trying to walk.
'step' 'step' he succeed walking now he was letting go of the sofa.
He almost fell, but quickly steadied himself and started walking.
I stood up then kneeled in front of him my arms with open.
"Come here, Rai" I said
'step' 'step' before he stopped trying to keep himself steady.
"Come to mommy Rai, Come here" I encouraged.
'step' 'step' 'step' ' step'
He quickly hugged me after reaching me.
"Mama!" He said excited with his accomplishment
"Good job!" I matched his excitement
And laughed together, with my son in my arms.

I smiled softly at the memory, however it quickly vanished as I heard someone knock at my door.
"Come in" I coldly ordered.
"Your majesty" The person greeted.
"Felix, what brings you here?" I said upon recognizing my guest.
Felix's pov
"Felix" I looked at the person who called me it was my childhood friend Claude.
"Yes, your majesty? Is there something you need?" I asked
"Have you heard about the rumors, saying Litia's son was a genius?" I tensed at the mention of the little prince Rai, but relaxed quickly, I frowned when he said 'Litia's son' 'isn't the prince your son too' I said in my head.
"Yes your majesty" I answered.
"I see, go see Litia It's been a year since we last met" Claude said.
"What shall I say to her majesty?" I asked.
"Tell her if she'd like to have a tea with me" he said
" Is your majesty including prince Raizel? "
I asked carefully.
"No, isn't he just 1 year old?" He asked however providing me the answer I wanted to hear ' isn't he too young?' is the other way to interpret his question like answer.
"I see, I shall tell her majesty. I'll be leaving now" I said and bowed before exiting the office of the emperor.
Walking to the empress palace.
I have met the little prince before, last week while walking to the garden of the empress at my break.
Flashback
I was walking through the garden when I saw a mop of white hair looking at the flowers. It was the little prince I have only met when he was born. He still has a chubby cheeks however anyone could tell that the young prince was handsome.
He then turned to me staring at me with his jewelled blue eyes, I felt my breath hitch as I seemed to have gotten lost in his eyes. I was snapped out of my daze when the prince called out to me.
"Mister who are you? You don't seem to be one of Mama's people since I didn't see you here before?" He asked I was amazed at the childs vocabulary looks like the rumors about him being a genius is true.
"I'm Felix Robane your highness, I'm the emperor's knight." I said silently observing how the prince would react at the mention of his father.
"I see your father's knight, it's my first time meeting someone with any relation to father" he said
"However that's more reason to question why sir Robane is here"he continued
"I'm having a break so I thought Its a good idea to take a stroll to the garden" I explained.
"and please just call me Felix or Robane your highness" I requested
He nods and open his mouth again
"I see, if Felix is having a break I won't impose any longer,have a good afternoon" he said and left.
Flashback end
I smiled at the memory of my short encounter with the genius prince.
Before I knew it I arrived at my childhood friend's office. I knocked after waiting for a few seconds I heard an answer
"Come in" my childhood friend voice coldly ordered.
In which I simply complied
I opened the door and went in,with a soft click I greeted the person in front of me a beautiful lady with long white hair and lavender purple eyes,my childhood friend the empress Libertia Vance or Libertia De Alger Obelia
"Your majesty" I greeted
She perked up and looked at me upon recognition smiled and said
"Felix, what brings you here?" She asked
"His majesty has told me to invite you to tea with him" I said
"I see, tell him I'm free tomorrow. Thank you, Felix" she said
"It's no problem your majesty,I'll be going now."I stated
"Do be careful on your way back, Thank you again Felix." She dismissed
I smiled and turned towards the door as I was about to open it someone opened it before going inside, it was the little prince.
"Felix?" He asked looking at me curiously
"Oh? You know him already Rai?" Libertia asked
"Yes mama, we happened to bump to each other at the garden during his break last week" he explained his explanation was short however it is suffice as no unnecessary information is mentioned.
"I see, come to mama?" Libertia asked to which the latter complied.
He stopped on his tracks and turned to me
"Bye bye Felix" he said before going to his mother I bowed slightly before going out. Smiling at the memory of the cute prince's farewell.
Upon arriving to the emperor's office he knocked and came in.
"What was her reply?" Claude immediately asked upon hearing him enter.
"Her majesty said she's free tomorrow" I stated which Claude nodded at.
He looked up at me with a curious look, I can't help but take note of how similar his majesty and the prince are.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard him speak.
"Why are you smiling like an idiot?"he asked
"I was smiling?" I asked back
He nods
" I haven't noticed, it must've been when the prince bid me farewell"I said smiling brightly
Claude's pov
" What was her reply?" I asked Felix
Not looking up from my work.
"Her majesty said she's free tomorrow" he said in an unusual cheery tone.
I looked up to see him smiling brightly.
"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" I asked
"I was smiling?" He asked back
I only nod, watching him lost in his thought before answering my question.
"I haven't noticed, it must've been when the prince bid me farewell" he replied smiling brightly again
"The prince?" I asked for confirmation
Which he nods at before i dismissed him.
I was deep in my thoughts thinking about the mother and son duo.
Libertia who's my childhood friend that I married as a means for political standing, and Raizel who I had solely for a heir to the throne. Is what I thought, however upon having a glance on them laughing while walking hand in hand, I couldn't help but be curious.
'i wonder what sparked my curiosity towards you two' I thought before continuing with my work
