Chapter Thirty Four,
Lucia...
"Umm, hey Lucia" he says scratching the back of his neck with one of his hands. I look down and I swear my heart shattered into a million pieces.
His hands were intertwined with girl hands. I look up seeing a beautiful strawberry blonde. I suck in the tears that treating to spill and I smile. "Hey I'm Lucia" I smile and put out my hand to her.
"I'm Paige" she shakes my hand. "Paige this is my friend Lucia.... Lucia this is my, umm, girlfriend" he says. "How are you here?" I ask Luke, changing the subject so I wouldn't break down in front of them. That would be embarrassing.
"We're on tour... Ivory, Emily and Ashley came along as well" he told me. "Really?! Where are they?!" I exclaim. He told me the hotel they were staying in so I was making my way to it. I couldn't wait to see them.
I ask the woman where their rooms were and walk into the elevator. I walk up to the number Luke said was Ivory's room and knock on the door. "Room service" I said in an attempt Australian accent.
"Coming!" She calls from the other side making me shake with excitement, I couldn't wait to finally see her in person. It's been two months.
She opens the door, not looking up from her purse as she opens it taking out some money. When she looks up her face drops and she drops her purse. "Surprise" I smile widely. "Lucia!" She screams, when she realizes who I was. She jumps on top of me, giving me the biggest bear hug ever. "Oh my god!! I missed you so much!! How are you here!?" She squeals making me go deaf.
"I missed you too Ivory! I was on the beach and Luke showed up with his girlfriend, he told me your rooms and her I am!!!" I exclaim. "Let's go tell everyone else" she says dragging me to the other guys rooms. She knocks vigorously on one of the doors. "I'm coming God, be patient" I hear Michael groan on the other side, I think he just woke up, his voice sounded hoarse.
He opens the door with a sleepy head. He looks at me and then Ivory. He quickly turns back to me and he wakes up straight away. He gapes widely. "Surprise" Ivory and I laugh. "Am I seeing things?" he asks, rubbing his eyes. "No Michael, Lucia is really here!" Ivory exclaims. "Lucia!" he screams, picking me up and spinning me around.
"What's going on?" I hear Calum groan. He looks at me. "Lucia!!!!!" He screams also, giving me a tight hug. "I missed you guys too" I laugh. Everyone else comes in, screaming and giving me massive hugs.
"I missed you all so much" I smile sadly. "We missed you too Lucia.... You're like a sister to us, and when you left it wasn't the same without you, especially Luke" Michael said making me smile.
"Thanks guys" I say and give them all another hug. "How long have Luke and Paige been together?" I ask. "About a month now" Ivory says sadly.
"Oh, well, he moves on quickly" I say quietly. But it's not my business to say because we weren't actually going out. "What have you been doing here? This is Australia and you're still as white as a freaking ghost" Calum says making us laugh.
"I don't tan" I say and look at Ashton who smiles. "I'm so proud of you guys... you're on tour now! That's amazing" I smile widely. "Yeah, it's just too good to be true.... it's awesome. We love performing, doing what we love to do. Our fans are so supportive, I couldn't ask for a better life right now" Ashton says.
"Your new song's amazing" I say. "Yeah it is" Ashley agrees and cuddles into Calum's arm.
I heard talking outside the room and my heart rate increases. Ivory looks at me with wide eyes. She could hear me. And I bet all the other guys could too. The door opens up to reveal Luke and Paige.
"Hey guys" Luke smiles and then notices me, making his smile drop turning into an upset expression. I don't knwo why he's upset. He's the one that moved on. That forgot about me. I thought about him every single day, crying in my bed every night because I couldn't go to sleep. I couldn't even think about kissing a guy because my heart was only yearning for one guy.
"Hey" they say. Paige's smile remains massive. Luke sits on a chair in the corner, facing us and Paige sits on his lap. I try so hard not to roll my eyes so I turn away. "Who wants to play Truth or dare?" Ashley asks.
Truth or dare is so old. But everyone agrees anyway. I want to have fun with these guys again. I miss having a laugh with them. Calum starts asking Michael but I don't pay attention to anything anyone's saying. "Luke" Ashley says making me snap back into reality.
"Do you like Paige enough to be her boyfriend, or do you like another person in this room" she asks. "Ashley!" I scold, she shrugs and looks back to Luke. I could hear his heart beat increasing. He looks at me more then once but nods his head. "I do like Paige enough to be her boyfriend Ashley" he answers nonchalantly, but his heart beat continues to remain quick.
"Yawn guys, I'm tired... I need sleep bye" I wave to everyone. "Bye Lucia" they say sadly.
"Don't be upset, I live just up the road. I'll see you all tomorrow" I smile. I walk to my apartment. When I arrive outside the door, I fumble with my keys. When I finally get the door open I walk inside. When I turn around something sticks into me. I look down and see a thick piece of wood inside my chest, extremely close to my heart.
"If I move just a little, you're dead" I hear a male voice say. I look up and meet eyes with a brunette.
"W-who are you?" I ask shakily.
"You can just say I'm some kind of Van Helsing" he laughs. "The point is... Lucia, I hate Vampire's and well, you are one so.... I am going to kill you, but not yet" he says and pulls me over to one of my chairs. "If you move a muscle... you're dead. Bring her in guys!" He shouts and then I hear a female voice.
"Let me go!" Ashley shouts. Two men bring her in and tie her into a chair in front of me. "Lucia, what's that inside you!?" She exclaims. "Don't worry Ashley, if I take it out she will heal... won't you Lucia?" The man asks me. I give him a death glare, hoping that Vampires can kill people with looks... Sadly, it didn't work.
"What do you mean?" She asks confused. "Well... Your sister here is a..... finish it for me Lucia" he says. "Why are you doing this?" I ask.
"Because I hate you people killing things!" He shouts making spit fly out of his mouth onto my face. "Ugh, say it don't spray it" I say making a disgusted face. "Tell her!" He screams making me jump.
"I'm a Vampire Ashley" I give in. "What do you mean?" She asks, her voice cracking. "I am a blood sucking monster!" I shout. "So am I" I hear Ivory's voice making me gasp.
Ivory quickly kill all of the men, I sigh. "Why did you do that?" I ask her, yelping when she rips the stake out of me. "Lucia, if Ashley was going to find out that you're a Vampire, than I wanted her to know that I am too"
"You both are Vampires?" She asks angrily. "Yeah, Ashley. We're sorry for not telling you. I know that this is going to be hard to accept, but please.. please don't be mad at us" Ivory begs. Ashley stands up from the chair.
"Don't you dare touch me" she shouts when I stand up to get her when she was about to leave. I stop when she shouts at me and she leaves my apartment.
"Sorry Lucia?" Ivory say stop me, I nod. "The man told her, you didn't, it's fine. I know Ashley. She doesn't hold grudges. Even though this is something huge, she will forgive us" I tell her hopefully.
"I think we need to tell the other guys" she says. "Okay" I sigh and we both walk back to the hotel.
"Guys?" I ask. They all look at me. Since Luke knows, I asked him to take Paige out so she wouldn't have to know. "Yeah?" They look at me and Ivory. "Lucia and I have something important to tell you guys" Ivory says, they nod their heads.
"Well, Ivory and I aren't what you think we are" I say and they furrow their eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" Michael asks.
I look at Ashton and he nods his head, telling me to continue. "Well... Ivory and I aren't human" I say making them laugh. "Shut up, it's not funny... we're.... we're...." I couldn't bring myself to say it. "We're fucking Vampires okay! And we both know all of you are werewolves, well... we know Ashley's human and you too Emily b-" Ivory says but Emily cuts her off.
"Actually.... I'm not human" she says slowly making us gasp and look at her. "I'm also a werewolf" she says. "What?" Ashton says, confused. "I was going to tell you... I knew you were werewolves because I could smell it off of you guys" she said.
"How come, we can't smell if there's a Werewolf near us?" Calum asks. We shrug. "You're a Vampire?" Michael asks Ivory, ignoring what's going on with the others. "I was going to tell you that night on the bench in the dark... But Luke interrupted me" she explains.
"You should've told me after" he says, his voice growing more hurt. "I w-"
"No Ivory... you lied to me" he says and gets up walking out the door, Ivory calling after him. "I'm sorry for not telling you guys" I say, they nod their heads. "We're sorry for not telling you either" Calum says. "Where's Ashley?" He asks. "She left, going after you when you left" he says.
"She found out what I was and she ran away, she's probably in your room" I tell him. He nods and stands up. He gives me a hug. "I'm glad you're back" he whispers in my ear making me smile. He walks outside and I turn to Emily and Ashton.
"It's okay, it's okay" Ashton's says to Emily and they hug. "I'm going to go now guys, bye" I smile. "See you" they wave.
I walk out of the hotel and walk along the path. "Lucia!" I hear a familiar voice shout behind me. I turn around seeing Luke running up to me, Paige wasn't with him. He doesn't say anything he just hugs me tightly.
"Lu-"
"Shush, I wanna hug you..., I haven't in over two months, give me what I want" he says, his lips brushing off of my ear making shivers run down my spine.
I don't say anything else. I hug him back tightly. I missed him so much. I missed his voice, his warm hugs, how supportive he was when he figured out what I was... everything.
"I missed you so much Lucia" he whispers. "I missed you too Luke" I sigh.
"I'm so sorry for not showing up at the airport to say goodbye. I just.... you left me once and I really didn't want to see you leave again. I haven't talked to you in the two months we were apart because I couldn't bring myself to hear your voice. If I heard your voice or seen your face, it would make me break down and I really didn't want to go through all of that pain again... that song I wrote, Amnesia... It's all about you, I'm so sorry Lucia.... please please please forgive me" he pouts.
"I forgive you Luke" I smile, hugging him again.
The song was about me.
