His smile was cold
But just a hint of what was once warm.
His face was pale
But his posture stood bold.
His expression was frozen in time.
His hands were lifeless, yet they called out to mine.
And the wind blew ever so softly,
Creating it's own hyme.
It was only the both of us,
Only two frozen souls,
Only two snowflakes
In the heat of the cold.
Alone in the woods,
Alone in the world.
We both have eyes,
But a voice nobody heard.
