Jenna's POV
In dance class, Jay taught me some moves. I could tell he was an already trained dancer, the way he moved so gracefully, the control he had over his body, he was amazing. He told me that he usually practiced in Nottingham (his hometown) but he came here to visit family and noticed that there was a dance class, so he signed up for 6 weeks.
"You are a way better dancer than me" I told him. "Practice makes perfect! So how long have you been dancing?" he asked me while looking down at the floor. "Only two years. What about you?" I answered. "5 years." he replied. "Wow, practice really does make perfect!" I said while smiling at him. He returned the smile and said in a sweet voice "But some people are just born with it!" After dance class he gave me his number and told me "If you ever need practice, just call!". Without saying a word, I smiled at him and walked out the door.
Jay's POV
I taught Jenna a few dance moves. "You're a way better dancer than me!" she said. I had to remind myself to be cool and I simply said "Practice makes perfect!". We talked for a while and we became friends.
At the end of class, I quickly wrote down my phone number on a crumpled piece of paper. I hesitantly gave it to Jenna and said "If you ever need practice, just call!". She smiled as if to say "thanks!" and she walked out the door.
I packed my bag and got into my car. On my drive home I thought to myself "Why am I lying to this beautiful girl? If things get serious, I'll have to tell her, tell her who I really am, tell her that I'm not actually visiting family here. I don't even have family that lives outside the UK! What have I done?!?". I got into the house, opened the door and told my band mates all about it.
