Chapter 5

I looked through the cabinets of the kitchen for a frying pan. I was gonna make him some bacon and pancakes, it seems Thats all we ever ate for breakfast now. It was kinda sickening.
"Third from the left." I heard Kai call out. My eyes scanned to the mentioned cabinet and I opened it. Finding the pan I turned around to put it on the stove. The pancake mix and bacon had been left out, they were still fresh though. As I leaned over to grab the bacon I felt two hands grip my waist and lips kiss my shoulder blade. I ignored it, this is what Kai usually did. I was used to it. He gripped me tighter making me squeak. I jumped forward and Kai pulled me back.
"Kai, I'm making you food. Would you like to die?" He didn't respond, he just kept kissing my neck. "Kai."
"Hmm." Kai hummed.
"I'm making you food. I don't think you want to go hungry without anything." he laughed. I turned around to look at him. His eyes were black, they scared me. He smiled with an evil yet passionate grin. He slowly tilted his head while frowning.
"What's wrong Amaya? You don't love me anymore." I froze. Thoughts ran through my head. Was I going to run, was I going to stay. What was I going to do? Being stupid me, I tried to run. He held out his arms. Blocking me from my way out.
"Kai, can you move?" He didn't budge. "Kai. Move." I felt my frustration level rise from a zero to a 99.99.
"Amaya, I love you." I stood there processing these words, still staring into what looked like a black hole inside his eyes.
"Kai! I said MOVE!" I screamed and he flew back hitting the table. I covered my mouth with my hands, amazed. Where did that come from? I don't think normal humans can make people fly back without touching them.
"Oh my gosh, Kai, are you okay?" He laughed. confusion rolled to my expression. "Kai?" He laughed harder and harder.
"You- you just used my sisters powers." he laughed even harder. I walked closer to him.
"What the hell do you mean your sister's magic, I don't have any magic." I gestured to my chest.
"When you were born, my sister gave you magic so you could survive. She put a cloaking spell on you, and your mothers memories. You got some memories." I fell to the floor.
"Well, am I supposed to feel like I'm gonna die." he tilted his head. His eyes faded back to the nice shade of greenish, blue. I then blacked out, hearing him call my name.
