Lisa POV
Everything is clear now. She thinks I went on vacation? Fine. Let her believe that.

This time, I'll play her own game. She started this, so let's end it in a way she'll never forget. I hate her for letting someone else touch what's supposed to be mine. And now it's obvious — her boss is the man she's been sneaking around with.

Stupid how she managed to manipulate me for months. I was so dumb.

Jennie POV

"Mommy, I want this! And this... and this!"
Liam's tiny finger kept pointing at every toy on the shelves, and without thinking, I just placed them into the cart. We were at the mall after I picked him up from school.

"Baby, can you even play with all of this? This is too much. You don't have enough space in your room anymore,"

I teased as we reached the cashier.

"It's okay, Mommy. This is your payback. Hehe. I love you, Mommy!" Liam said with a cheeky smile that made me giggle.

After paying, I asked him where he wanted to eat. He immediately pointed and ran straight to his favorite fast-food chain, his giggles filling the air.

While we were eating, he suddenly grew serious.

"Mommy... what if you leave Dada for Uncle Kai? Will you leave me too?"
My chest tightened.

"No, baby. I will never leave you or Dada. I promise. Uncle Kai is just my boss." I reached out and patted his head. He smiled, reassured, and continued eating.

Later, we walked past the claw machine. Liam begged to try, but after several failed attempts, he was pouting, frustrated.

"Here, let me try," I said, sliding a coin in.

"Tsk. If Dada were here, I'd already have a lot of toys," he muttered.

"Soon, when Dada is back, we'll come here together again," I promised.

He watched intently as I maneuvered the claw. With one clean drop, I caught the toy.

"Piece of cake." I handed it to him, and he jumped up and down, hugging the prize tightly.

Lisa POV

Fresh air. City lights. I stood outside the apartment I bought — the one Jennie had no idea about.

I'd installed CCTV cameras all over the house. Not to violate her privacy, but to finally prove what my gut had been screaming for months. And I was right. Every suspicion, every fear... all true. She's a cheater.

I called Jisoo to tell her everything. She comforted me the way people do

"You can do this, Lisa. You'll get through it." But when will Jennie ever admit it herself? When will she tell me she's been

unfaithful?

Frustrated, I dialed another number — Somi. Somi had been my childhood best friend in Thailand. Now, she was a lawyer, staying in Korea temporarily. Jennie didn't know her.

"Where are you?" I asked the second she answered.

"Hotel. Why, Lis?" Her voice was groggy; I probably woke her up.

"Damn, girl, staying in a hotel for a month? You're rich."

"I don't have a choice until you buy me an apartment to crash in," she teased.

"I'll head to you now. Send me your location."

"What? I thought you were with your wife?"

"Not anymore. I'll explain later. Just send it."

I hung up before she could ask more. My chest felt heavy, but I knew I needed her now more than ever.

Jennie POV

It was late evening when we finally got home. Liam was exhausted, fast asleep in my arms. I laid him gently in his bed, changed him into his pajamas, and unpacked all the toys we'd bought.

I was about to head into my own room when the doorbell rang repeatedly. Curious, I checked the gate — and froze.

Kai.

It was already 11PM. What was he doing here?

I hurried outside. The moment he leaned in, I smelled it. Alcohol.

"Babe, what are you doing here? Oh god, you smell terrible," I said, wrinkling my nose.

"Just a little, love. Little," he slurred, his voice loud enough to make me panic.

"Shhh! Don't be noisy. You need to go home. Give me your car key."

I couldn't let him stay here. If Liam saw him again, it would only make things worse.

But before I could take the keys, he doubled over, almost puking. I quickly stepped aside and rubbed his back until he finished.

"Why would I give it to you? I'm your boyfrie—nd," he muttered stubbornly.
And he was right. He was my boyfriend.

But I couldn't lose Liam.

Not Liam.
