'Please prepare for landing'
Mia's eyes snapped open. For a second she forgot where she was. When she remembered that she was on her way to Australia, fresh tears welled, and then fell like little salty paratroopers. Gather, fall, gather, fall. Mia sat up and brushed any evidence of tears from her face. She ran a hand through her tangled hair and tried to straighten out her rumpled clothes as best as she could. Mia leaned over to open the window, and when she did, she gasped. A massive stretch of land, with mixed with colour passed by. She saw long stretches of red, green, gold and blue. She pulled out her phone and snapped a pic and sent it to Alex. She lay back in her seat and watched as parts of Australia raced by. She loved it. No, she hated it. The plane hit turbulence as they decended and once again, Mia was lost for words. She could see trees, rivers, long stretches of land. It was Beautiful. " so this is sydney..." mia whispered. she shook her head. Do i love it? no. I hate it. As the plane landed with a bump, mia felt something inside her go snap. She was here. This was her new home. As dauntingly beautiful as it seems, mia knew she couldn't love it. as she got of the plane and looked around, she was speechless. That was until she felt a hand on her shoudler. She whipped around and found her self face to face with a pair of piercing blue eyes. and scene.
