Trust Nobody- chapter 5
We slowly made our way up to the front desk. "I-I'm Alicia. Alicia Baker." I spurted out. The lady glanced up from the sorted papers on her desk. She directed me to a room. "that way love." she replied warmly. I nodded. We walked. I scanned the room numbers until I saw 305. My mums room. A knot formed in my stomach. I looked back at Matt to see him sitting in the waiting room. He gave me a reassuring smile as I thudded quietly in the room. I gasp at the sight of my mum. She was in a really bad condition. I ran over to my father and hugged up. Before I knew it, I was crying hysterically. "why couldn't it be me?!" I cried. "nobody deserves this." my dad replied in a whisper. We talked until late night. "I wanna stay dad." I whined as the nurse escorted me out. "you can't! You cant be left alone." he hollered until his voice couldn't be heard. I checked my phone to see a message from Matt. I opened my phone to see. "meet me at the Café across the street." I replied back and stepped foot alone in the cold air. I started walking when I was pushes to the ground. "oh!" I gasped. I looked up to see a familiar figure. The figure of Harry. "please don't hurt me Harry!" I screeched. He harshly placed his abnormally large hand over my face. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulders in a jerky manner. Before I knew it, I was in the the Café where I was going in the first place. Nobody was in there. Harry set me down. From the corner of my eye, I saw others come out of the back room. I turned my head quickly towards them to see all of harry's friends. I questioned who I saw. I looked back to see Matt. They were all smirking evilly. "well, well, well. Who do we have here?" Matt quizzed hastily. "I thought we were friend Matt!" I stated. He chucked evilly and simply said, "never." I was soon blocked by all of them. I couldn't get out.
