Rhea sat there, watching the waves rise and fall. A gloomy expression shone deep on her face. She took another deep breath, inhaling the smoke from her sweet cigarette. The buzz felt good, a much needed relaxant after dealing with such a troubling day. Dealing with all the airports and deathly traffic was such an exhausting task for the small town Pennsylvanian girl. All of this trouble just to get away from her family for a couple of days. She took another deep breath, letting the buzz set in more. She really didn't want to be thinking about them right now. She trained her blue saucers back on the falling waves, wanting to forget all about her past, even if it was for a little while.

Rhea had been planning this trip for a while now. She needed a break from everything and everyone. The stress the Full Moon Society continued to place on her shoulders was beginning to take its toll. So, that's why she decided on coming here, to this cruise ship. All to let off some much needed stress that had been building up the past two hundred years.

Tonight was a black tie party. It was the first time Rhea had been excited in a long, long time. In all her time, she had never met anyone. It just was not in her best interest to hook up with her beloved and settle down. She just had too much responsibility. She was responsible for protecting and watching over Aracas as he slept under her family's grounds. Protecting what would be considered priceless to the Fully Moon Society, caused her to shy away from any type of romantic feelings. But now, she was willing to give it a shot. With one more deep breath, relishing in the buzz, Rhea put the sweet cigarette out on her palm and walked back to her room.

It only took a little while for her to be fully ready. It was a slim fitting black dress, cut low and hugging her curves in all the right places. She looked in the mirror, inspecting her figure. This would surely attract my mate, right? She thought to herself as she scanned her body. She eventually gave in and went with it. Next was make-up. Rhea had never been all that big into make-up, especially with how her brother, Raven, would treat her when she used it. Why the hell are you thinking about that bastard! Rhea shouted at herself. she shook her head, trying to get rid of such thoughts. Raven was nothing but a disowned rogue with no place in this world. He renounced his own species and that to Rhea made him worth less than dirt. In the end, she decided to only go with some simple eyeshadow and lip gloss.

The halls were long. Rhea had already explored all around this morning but it was still impossible to know exactly where you were. She decided that following the crowd would be the safest choice. That gut feeling was correct. It was a beautiful place. Decorated in this elegant white and black decor and crystals. It was a sight to behold. Though, it wasn't only the decorations that were beautiful. Everyone in the theatre was dressed with the utmost extravagance. Rhea took a long sniff of the air. There are other wolves here. She noted. This wasn't exactly an uncommon occurrence. They were most likely here for the same reason Rhea found herself on this boat. A mate. They want their beloved and are desperate to find them. Rhea couldn't blame them, that's for sure. She had been without a lover for centuries at this point, and it was driving her insane to say the least.

All the wolves were grouped together. It was a group of five men and three women. They seemed to be getting along quite well, chatting and laughing together. Then, they all shut up, going completely still. Rhea knew exactly what was going on. They smelled her. The group of wolves turned to face Rhea. They scanned her body, but never met her eyes. Then every single wolf looked at her hand. The Crescent Moon Ring. A ring that allows any wolf to control their form, along with the sign of an Elder of the Full Moon society.

"E-elder Sterling, what are you doing here?" One of the men quivers, bowing his head.

"I am here for the same reason as you." Rhea quips."So at ease, all of you."

They all stare up at the blue eyed girl in shock. Their eyes were wide. The group clearly didn't know their Elder was unmated. Rhea simply sighed at this. She couldn't blame them for the shock, of course, but she really didn't have the mental fortitude to deal with such things. Rhea simply walks up to all of them, getting their individual scents. The whole group was shocked by this display. Rhea then reached back and looked deep in their eyes. She liked their smells, especially one of the girls. She smelled of chocolate. Rhea licked her lips at the girl, making her blush at the gesture. She knew in her gut that she could trust this girl out of everyone.

"What is your name?" Rhea ordered the girl, completely ignoring the others.

"I-Isobelle Spencer." The girl stutters, obviously still intimidated.

A sly smile then crosses Rhea's lips as a lofty laugh leaves her mouth."Well, Isobelle, I quite like your smell–so I have chosen you to accompany me here from now on."

All the wolves jumped at Rhea's request. They obviously didn't expect the open bluntness from the Elder. They especially went for Isobelle. This woman who she knew nothing about was saying she was now to accompany her everywhere. She was confused, to say the very least. Though, Isobelle certainly didn't have an option when it came to this. Smirking, Rhea grabbed Isobelle's arm leading her away from the rest of the wolves. She has claimed Isobelle as her best friend, and she was definitely not going to waste their time together being around others.

Despite Isobelle's original protest, the two girls hit it off surprisingly well. She was a fun girl. Once relaxed and in her own skin, Isobelle was the life of the party. A complete free soul and joy to be around. Not to mention, she was cute as a button. Long blonde hair, hazel eyes and a cute smile. She could easily sway any man, and knew it from the looks she continued to get. Rhea smiled to herself, happy with her choice. Isobelle was from a higher ranking pack that branched off from the Full Moon Society. She was apparently here on the cruise for an official meeting of her pack, not only to be searching for a mate. She was the beta of the pack, surprisingly enough. It was unexpected. Rhea didn't get that vibe from her. Isobelle was nowhere near as intimidating or imposing as your normal beta. She had a much more timid and careful nature. Though to Rhea, who was on a completely different level, almost everyone seemed meek and weak willed. Rhea took another deep sniff of the air, a confused setting in on her face. She only smelt the same wolves from before... not a single alpha.

"Hey Isobelle, where is your alpha anyway?" Rhea questioned, taking a sip of her drink.

"Hmm?" Isobelle hummed, flipping her blonde hair."Is he not here?"

"I don't smell anything remotely close to an alpha's scent." Rhea said, taking another sniff at the air to be sure.

Isobelle took in a deep breath of her own, a confused face now setting in on her face."That's weird, where in the world could he be?"

The party was something Rhea really needed. Letting out the built up stress that her brother and The Full Moon Society had caused. Though, she wasn't as buzzed as she wanted. Isobelle told her to drink more if she wanted to get drunk, but that wouldn't work for Rhea. She just wasn't a normal wolf. The Sterling blood in her was just too strong.

I am definitely going to need another smoke. Rhea mused to herself. Normally, a cigarette wouldn't leave any buzz for Rhea, but these were different. A gift from her brother, Raven, they were made with specialized herbs and plants originally used to help with Vampire cravings, but could also be used to penetrate the nie impregnable mental fortitude of a Wolf. Werewolf's, while being extremely powerful physically, held most strength in their mental fortitude and abilities. Being from what could be considered noble blood only made Rhea's mind stronger. So, she really needed the cigarettes, to say the least. It was the only gift Raven had ever given her.

As She walked down the hall to her room Rhea caught a waft of something absolutely delicious. She froze, her whole body tensing up. She took in the smell, taking a deep and heavy breath. It was this intoxicating scent of fresh vanilla and cinnamon. She just couldn't get enough of it. It sent tingles all through her body. This was a completely forgien feeling to Rhea, and she just couldn't get enough of it. Her body began to move on its own, tracking down the intoxicating scent.

The closer Rhea got the stronger the scent became. That is, until she came to the source. A single room. That was the source of this intoxicating smell that had the powerful she-wolf shaking in delight. The scent was so strong Rhea just–couldn't take it anymore. Her eyes began to change, going from blue orbs to a glowing ultraviolet. Her nails began to sharpen and elongate, becoming deadly claws. She took one more breath of the smell before simply pushing on the locked door, throwing it straight off its hinges.

All Rhea could smell was the intoxicating scent of vanilla and cinnamon. She moaned in delight, loving every second of it. Then she saw him. Every single feature of the man in front of her Rhea absolutely loved. His slightly tousled and wavy strawberry blonde hair, tan-freckled face, deep brown eyes–that were only magnified by his glasses, and full lips. Not even to mention his body. He was built unlike anything Rhea had ever seen. Thick muscle covered his tall body, forming a powerful and strong fezic. Rhea didn't need to know his name to know the simple fact that she wanted to claim him before any other even had the chance to look at him. He held a focused look on his face, working on his computer not even realizing Rhea's presence. Not being able to take it anymore and wanting to make her presence known, the she-wolf raced over at an inhuman speed–appearing behind the man. She placed a finger on his chin, forcing him to her in the eyes.

He held a shocked look, his lips parting ever so slightly to show off his dimples. His wire-frame glasses became slightly lopsided from the sudden movement. His coffee brown eyes fell on Rhea's, turning gold from the pleasure. Rhea smiled down at the man, loving every second of his gaze. In one swift movement, formed completely out of pleasure and seduction, Rhea slammed her lips into his, enveloping his intoxicating scent. And to say the least, she would never need to smoke another cigarette again.
