We left off on Izuku waiting for Toriel, but after 15 minutes, he gets bored and thinks "what's the worst that could happen" and walks off
he walks into the next room and his cellphone rings
Toriel: You have not left the room, have you?
Izuku: *wait, why do you know that* What? Psssh, no.
Toriel: good, There are a few puzzles ahead that I have yet to explain, it would be dangerous to try to solve them yourself, be good alright?
Izuku: Yeah, sure.
*click*
Izuku then walks into a room, that has an L shape, on his left, he sees a door, and in front of him, he sees another save point, he first walks through the door to his left and sees a bowl of candy with a sign that says "take one", Izuku takes one because he doesn't want to be a dick, walking out of the room, he makes a savefile and goes on his way, until he encounters a Froggit
*Froggit hopped close*
Izuku: Oh damn, a large frog. Are you poisonous?
Froggit: Ribbit...
Izuku: I'll take that as a no, if the furry community has taught me anything, is that animals like pats.
Izuku gives a few pats on the head of the frog creature
*Froggit is flattered*
Froggit: *Blushes deeply* Ribbit...
A frog appears near Izuku and hits him, dealing 5 damage, that is replenished in a second
*Froggit seems reluctant to fight you*
Izuku then spares the Froggit and walks away.
Izuku then walks into a corridor, he sees a small patch of the floor that is darker
Izuku: What? This must be one of the puzzles Toriel was talking about
Izuku then places his hand on the patch of darker floor, and the part of the floor he put his hand on falls into a deep hole
Izuku: I don't want to step on that. *casually flies over the puzzle*
Izuku then goes through more rooms, he then sees a ghost lying down on the ground
Izuku: Wait, what? What is that? Is that a ghost, damn pretty wack, anyway
Izuku tries flying over the ghost but is blocked by an invisible barrier
Izuku: What the!? Why is there a barrier here, is this ghost needed for the plot or something? I guess I have to just move this... Monster? Thing? Ghost? Whatever
*Here comes Napstablook*
Izuku: Mind moving?
Napstablook: heh...
some tears fly out from Napstablook's eyes
Izuku: Are you crying? *a tear hits him* fuck! Do you cry acid
*Napstablook looks just a little bit worse*
Izuku: Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude, is there any way I can uh...help *Izuku tries cracking a joke*
Napstablook: heh heh...Not feeling up to it right now. Sorry.
Izuku: Oh so not a joke person then, do you need some company? *Izuku sits down next to Napstablook*
Napstablook: Can I show you something
Izuku: Sure, why not
Napstablook: Let me try... *Napstablook uses his tears to make a tophat for himself* I call it "Dapper Blook" Do you like it?
Izuku: It looks nice, but needs a little something, what is that something though... I got it *Izuku uses Ark to make a small bowtie for Napstablook* There we go, you got that drip
Napstablook: Oh gee... Thanks. I usually come to the Ruins because there's nobody around, but today I met somebody nice... Oh, I'm rambling again, I'll get out of your way *Napstablook fades away*
Izuku: Oh, onwards.
Izuku walks straight ahead to see a bakesale
*spider donut - 7G*
Izuku looks in his pocket, he sees 2G,
Izuku: well shit, I guess no donuts for me today.
Izuku then flies through some rooms, only interrupted by Toriel's call
Toriel: Hello? I just realized that it has been a while since I have cleaned up. I was not expecting to have company so soon. There are probably a lot of things lying around here and there, you can pick them up, but do not carry more than you need. Someday, you might see something you like, you will want to leave room in your pockets for that.
Izuku then makes it to a large tree with a house behind it
Toriel: Oh dear, that took longer than I thought it would. *Tries calling Izuku but hears another phone ring near her* How did you get here? Are you hurt?
Izuku: Nope, doesn't seem like it
Toriel: I shouldn't have left you alone for so long, it was irresponsible to try to surprise you like this. err... Well, I suppose I cannot hide it any longer. Come.
Izuku: Uhh... Sure...
Izuku sees another one of those save points and makes a save at Toriel's house
Toriel: Do you smell that? Surprise! It's butterscotch cinnamon pie. I thought we might celebrate your arrival. I want you to have a nice time living here, so I will hold off on snail pie tonight.
Izuku: *Snail pie? I knew French people ate snails, but putting them in a pie seems morally wrong*
Toriel: Here, I have another surprise for you.
Izuku follows Toriel a hallway where they stand in front of a door
Toriel: This is it, a room of your own. I hope you like it.
Izuku: Sweet! A new room
Toriel: Is something burning...? Um, make yourself at home!
Toriel then runs into the kitchen. Izuku then walks into the room and is... surprised
Izuku: This is good, but seems *Izuku walks next to the closet that's 3/4 his height* A bit small. I'll just sleep on the floor I guess
Izuku lies down on the floor and sleeps, he wakes up the next day with a slice of pie beside him.
Izuku: Ooh, pie.
Izuku walks into the living room and sees Toriel reading a book
Toriel: Up already I see? Um, I want you to know how glad I am to have someone here, there are so many old books I want to share, I want to show you my favorite bug-hunting spot, I also prepared a curriculum for your education. This may come as a surprise to you, but I have always wanted to be a teacher... Actually, perhaps that isn't very surprising. Still, I am glad to have you living here. Oh, did you want something? What is it?
Izuku: Do you have some gym clothes perhaps, I want to go for a jog around the ruins, but none of the clothes in the closet fit me
Toriel: Oh sorry, I didn't expect someone of your size to come here, all I had for company were children, so I had lots of children's clothes, I don't go jogging so I don't have any clothes for you, all I have are robes.
Izuku: Oh, that's fine, I was just asking
Izuku then goes back to his room to make a set of clothing out of Hellblaze, he makes a hoodie, some cargo pants, and some sneakers. He walks back to the living room to tell Toriel that's he going out for a while and that he'll be back shortly.
*30 minutes later*
Izuku: Hey mom- *Izuku covers his mouth as fast as he could*
Toriel: If you want to call me mom, I'm fine with that.
Izuku: thanks... mom, anyway, I'm back
Toriel: That's great, do you want to read some old books with me
Izuku: That sounds nice, but let me have a shower first, by the way, what's that staircase in front of me.
Toriel*serious*: That staircase leads to the end of the Ruins, a one-way exit to the rest of the underground. Be a godchild and stay upstairs, I forbid you to leave.
Izuku: Why?
Toriel: The monsters outside are dangerous, every other child who has fallen down in the underground has died. They, Asgore, will kill you. They will stop at nothing to acquire your soul.
Izuku: Wow... Wasn't expecting to hear a story about something my gruesome death beyond a door. I'ma go shower now, see you in the living room...
