Layla and Christine used to be best friends, like 'sisters from another mother'. But, one day they have split up after having tension with one another and decided to not be close friends anymore. Christine even invited Layla to hangout with her other friends where she built relationships with them and met her boyfriend and family. Layla does not join in with Christine's friends anymore or meet her boyfriend and family like she used to. From a distance one day, she saw Christine, her boyfriend and their friends having a gathering which triggered Layla's feelings. Deep inside, Layla wanted to join the gathering but is worried about Christine's reaction and does not want to invite herself. She almost told Christine's friends on what happened, but she did not want to in case it gets back to Christine even though they spoke about it and set boundaries for one another and are just good friends. Layla is worried that maybe Christine has moved on from her and what if she finds a new friend that replaces her.
