Y/N and Kristie Mewis knew each other ever since Y/N moved to Weymouth,Massachusetts. They meet each other at the 1st day of school when Y/N and Kristie were about 5 when they started kindergarten. Y/N still remembers the 1st day she saw Kristie. Little Kristie came up to Y/N and gave you a cookie. After that you guys became really closed friends all trough out Elementary and Middle School. Now it was during Highschool when things started to change Kristie started her Soccer Career,You ofcourse supported her but for the most time you stayed away from sports . Kristie was the type of girl who had perfect grades on school did amazing in sports and then there was you you were the type of girl who was the troublemaker going to parties,having fun with your friends,drinking,and well school wasen't your thing but still you had kristie with you to help you pass and not only her but now her sister Sam Mewis. It was until your Senior year when things when you Fell in love with the one and only Kristie Mewis the captain of the soccer team the girl everyone wants. Being you and wanting to win Kristie's heart you Decide to do whatever it take to take her out on a date.
Flashback:
Y/N Pov:
The First thing I feel in the morning was my blankets being Taken away from me and the cold air hitting me
"What-the fuck no" I tried hidding my face in my pillow
"Y/N What have I told you watch your mouth" I heard my mom said "Anyways Get up breakfast is ready and in the table come on or you will be late" she got up and walked out of my room
I sighed The only good reason to go to school was Kristie Mewis. Where do I start she is just an Angel in short words she is just so perfect. Her smile and her Eyes and her perfect lips I bet they taste so good but I know I am just her best friend nothing more oh the things I would do just so she can be mine but no she would never love me the way I love her.

I eventually got out of bed I changed into some black Jeans a Blueish shirt and some white vans. I walked downstairs and sat down to eat breakfast with my parents.
"Well Well Sleeping Beauty finally wakes up" my dad Joked
"Yeah good morning to you too dad" I smiled
Breakfast was rather fast as soon I was finished I brushed my teeth and grabbed my bag to go to school
"Bye ma bye dad" I said as I walked out my house and made my way to school.
I walked into my locker and said hi to some of my friends
"Soooo Plans for tonight?" I heard a voice right behind me while a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and just by the smell of her perfume I knew it was Kristie
I smiled and turned around "Yeah go and cheer for you at your soccer game and then I don't know chill?"
she smiles "Yeah hopefully you are there and as for chill" she laughs and looks at me "Your Idea of chilling is drinking and dancing around"
"What?" I laughed "It's fun"
Then the bell ringed "I'll see you later Y/N" She kisses my cheek and she walks way I was for sure Blushing at this point right now
"Just ask her out already Y/N" I heard my friend Julia said
"Yeah right like if that is easy"
"Look she likes you Y/N you like her Ask her out"
"I don't know jules"
"Do it before it too late" she smirks
"Fine I'll try but when?"
"Tonight at the soccer game" she just smirked and walked away.
All day I was stressed about how I was going to ask the girl of my dreams out on a date. Kristie scored 3 goals leading our team to the winning of the championship we were all so happy but I was so happy for Kristie I talked to Sam for a little bit Julia came over to me with some flowers red roses Kristie's favorite I was Ready I started looking for Kristie When I finally found her I was heartbroken. There was Kristie with a girl named Amelia making out. Tears were about to spill of my eyes I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Julia she just looked at me with a sad smile.
"I am sorry Y/N"
I just turned around and ran
"Y/N! Wait"I heard Kristie's voice but I just ran away from the school. I went home it was dark but it wasen't a surprise my parents always worked until late and I was home alone I sat down in the living room with a glass of vodka with me I turned on the tv and just started to think about everything and all my emotions hit me. I don't know how long I was there until I heard a knock on the door I got up and opened the door I was shocked to see Kristie standing there
part of me wanted to close the door and the other part told me to hug her and let her in
"Y/N" She looked at me
"Kristie what-?" Before I could do anything or say anything
"Have you been drinking?!"
I sighed "Why do you care? last time I checked you were to busy having your tounge down Amelia's Throat" I scoffed
"Wait-you saw that?"
"It was hard to miss" I started at the floor finding my shoes intresting
"Y/N Look at me" she whispered
I looked up at her with some tears on her eyes
"Kris don't cry I am fine I swear you can be with whoever you want It's fine I swear and well we all know highschool love dosen't last-"I was about to say another thing but I was interrupted by the softest pair of lips I ofcoursed kissed back until air became a problem I opened my eyes and looked at kristie
"Y/N It's always been you and I just want to spend even this last night with you my love" Is true Kristie already was leaving for collage and I was still going to stay home insted of talking to her I just kissed her and I lead her to my room just to say it was a good thing my parents were still working.
I layed on my bed holding her close to me
"What's going to happen with us?" she said breaking the silent peace
"I don't know kristie you are going to collage but I will always wait for you no matter what I'll find a way to you"
she smiled and gave me one last kiss

Present time still Y/n's Pov
Well it has been some years since I last saw and spoke to kristie I found out she now plays for the dash and the uswnt and on top she is dating this girl Rachel Daly as for me well I followed my dad's steps and became a doctor I haven't heard from Kristie or Sam really until I got a call saying the uswnt team needed a new medic and they called me luck have it on my side so now here I was at orlando at the uswnt camp.
"Hello Y/N" Vlatko waved at me
"Hi coach is nice to meet you"
"Well we are about to start a meeting with all the team and they will get to know you as the new team medic" he smiled and walked to the conference room and I followed him
"Allright so girls as most of you know we have a new medic" Vlatko announces "Please welcome Y/N L/N"
Every player smiled and looked at me
I waved at them but I found the green eyes of a certain blonde that belonged to my childhood crush Kristie Mewis
"Welcome to the team" Alex Morgan said
"Give us a little introduction about you Vlatko told me"
"Yeah right I-Um well I am the new team's doctor and please don't get injured I guess that's all" I smiled I really had no clue what to say.
"You seem nice" Rose Lavelle said with a smile
"Hopefully we become friends" Megan Rapinoe said I knew her because of her purple hair.
After Dinner we just went to our rooms I was going trough some papers when there was a knock on the door a injury already I don't think so
I got up and opened the door "Kristie?"
Kristie's Pov :
This year at camp sam told me we had a new member joining the medical staff for the most part I honestly did not care sure that was until the day of the camp I walked in and sat down waiting for this to be over honestly I just want to go to bed and sleep that was until Vlatko mentioned Y/n i looked up and there you were looking wow just amazing
"Oh look your little crush is back" sam smirked
I glared at her out of all the people I for sure not expected y/n to show up here at camp and as a doctor? wow she has come a long way. I smiled getting all the buterflies I used to get when I saw you still in higschool. Once this was over I almost ran out of there and went to my room where I was sharing with Kelley O'hara
"Did you see the new girl? she is damn so hot"
I looked up for my phone at Kelley
"Oh no I know that look Kelley and trust me she is not into you"
"and how would you know that K.mew?" she looked at me
truth is I still loved Y/N with all my heart and things with Rachel were just not the same anymore I would never love another woman like I love Y/N
"And besides you are with rachel kristie this might be my shot" she smirked
"I-I am just going to get some air" I walked out of my room and headed to her room I knocked on the door and a few seconds later there was Y/N looking sexy like always I bit my bottom lip when I looked at her
"Kristie?" she looked at me
"H-Hi Y/N um.. could we talk"
she just smiled and nodded gosh that smile that made my heart melt.
I walked in and sat down on her bed
"So um what's up" she sat in front of me "I haven't heard from you in years just well that you are an amazing soccer player and that you are dating that girl rachel?"
In the voice she said the last part I knew she was jealous Y/N was always the Jealous type I smiled and tried not to laugh
"Is Y/n Jealous of rachel" I started laughing
"I-I am not!" she looks at me crossing her arms
"Honestly is just so funny your reaction Y/n"
she sighed "Okay and what if I am she gets to kiss you and hug you and love you and Kristie I never stoped loving you and it just hurts to think that the love of my life is in the arms of another woman I want to be the one who kisses you who hugs you who touches you and loves you"
aw she still loves me after all this years
"Y/N I never stopped loving you" and with that I lean in for a very passionate kiss "I would never love rachel the way I love you things with her are not the same anymore you are the one I want now" she just smiled and kissed me again
"Well then I guess I should claim what's mine" she smirks and pushes me down to the bed one of the best nights of my life good thing she had no roomate the next day I woke up naked on an empty bed there was a note saying y/n was down in breakfast but also she left red roses with a note saying I love you I got changed into my training gear and walked to breakfast I sat on the same table like always with Sam,Megan,Alex,Tobin and Christen. we were all eating breakfast and joking around until I heard Sam gasp
"Kris what's that on your neck!?"
Shit one of the many Kickeys Y/N gave me last night could be clearly seen.
"I-Um?"
Megan smirked "Wow K.mew sure has some secrets"
"I am not telling you and no is not rachel I broke up with her "
"But for real did you sleep with one of us of the team?" Tobin asked
"No it was an old friend" The moment I said that I looked up at Y/N she smirked and send me a wink
I was so lucky to call her mine. Young love turned into true love because I knew she was the one for me.
