"I can't believe it. You guys are here!" you exclaimed after recovering from your initial shock.
"I missed you guys so much!" you added, returning the hugs of your dad and your best friend.
"We missed you too, sweetie. We just couldn't wait another month to visit you," Tony said, ecstatic that after months of missing you, he's finally able to hug you again.
Pulling both Avengers inside your apartment, you immediately locked eyes with Lena, almost forgetting that she was in your apartment as well.
Tony and Wanda also turned their heads towards the raven-haired girl, curious about her role in your life.
Tony, being... well, Tony, took it upon himself to introduce himself and Wanda to the raven-haired girl.
"And who is this lovely lady? In your house, if I might add? I'm Tony Stark, Y/N's dad, and this lady over here is Wanda... pleasure to make your acquaintance."
All you could do was roll your eyes at your dad's actions. You missed him, but his over-the-top self-confidence could be really embarrassing for you sometimes.
"Dad..." you muttered, giving him a slight warning, feeling your cheeks heat up in embarrassment. Wanda and Lena both laughed at your embarrassing state. Wanda already sensing that Lena may be more than just a friend to you.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Stark and Wanda," Lena said, shaking hands with the pair. Wanda smirked at the nervous energy she could sense from Lena.
"I'm, uh... a friend of Y/N's. I've heard so many things about you and your family back in your universe."
'She hesitated,' Wanda mused in her mind, now even more certain that there is more than friendship between you and the Luthor girl.
"All good things, I hope?" your father joked. You couldn't help but smile as you could already tell that your dad liked Lena from just a few seconds of interaction.
"Yes, of course! She talks about all your amazing inventions back in your universe all the time when we are working in my lab."
Tony's eyes lit up like a child receiving gifts on Christmas at the mention of the word 'lab' and the possibility of a science talk.
Before you could interrupt what your dad was about to say, Wanda immediately pulled you to the side while Lena and Tony were still engrossed in getting to know each other a little bit more.
"So... Lena, huh?" Wanda started. You could already tell that she was brewing something in that little head of hers.
"Yes, Lena, Wanda. What about her?" you asked before she could add something more.
"Do you like her?" Wanda finally asked, giving you a teasing smile after seeing your face heat up once again at her question.
"What? No! I mean, yes! Ugh, Wanda, I don't know!" you replied, getting flustered at your best friend's simple question.
"I'll take that as a yes," Wanda confirmed it for you.
"As long as she's taking care of you and my little niece or nephew right here, then I'm happy for you," Wanda added, placing her hands on your stomach to feel your unborn baby.
"Oh, you don't know the half of the effort she's been putting in to make sure that me and my baby are well taken care of," you gushed, remembering all the things Lena has done for you since you arrived in National City. Those memories caused you to smile unconsciously, but not without Wanda noticing it.
"Do tell," Wanda said, now more intrigued to learn about Lena's efforts as it was obviously making you happy.
"Well..."

Lena left your apartment that night, much to your disappointment, but not before having dinner with you and your family and inviting them to drop by the lab to see all the work you've been doing. Both Wanda and Tony graciously accepted, excited to learn more about your new life in National City.
The next day, as you were about to leave for L-Corp with Wanda and Tony, your phone rang, bringing a smile to your face. Lena's caller ID appeared on your screen, and you immediately answered the call.
"Lee, I'm about to head down to L-Corp right now with my dad and Wanda. What's up?" you asked. Receiving phone calls from Lena every day before work had become a familiar routine for the two of you.
"Y/N, I need you to stay at home today. There's been an attack at the City center— a bunch of criminals with high-powered weapons are terrorizing the city. Kara and the Superfriends are here to control the situation, but it's far too dangerous for you to go out. You and the baby might get hurt," Lena said, sounding alarmed. Her words stopped you in your tracks, and both your dad and best friend gave you a curious look. You glanced at them with a worried expression before refocusing your attention on the phone call with Lena after hearing an explosion from the other end of the line.
"Lena! What was that? Are you okay?" you asked immediately, concerned for her safety more than ever.
"I'm fine... I'm at the DEO providing backup. Kara and the rest of our friends' comms are being heard throughout the headquarters. It looks like the criminals have access to Kryptonite. Kara's anti-Kryptonite suit won't hold for much longer," Lena explained.
"Shit," you cursed under your breath. You knew that Kryptonite was deadly to Kara, so you quickly devised a plan to help your friends.
"Alright. I can help. Don't leave the DEO. Be safe," you said, abruptly ending the call, aware that Lena would disapprove of your plans.
Looking at Tony and Wanda, you declared, "My friends are in trouble. They need our help." Your dad and best friend immediately recognized the urgency in your voice.
"What kind of trouble?" your father asked calmly.
"A bunch of criminals is attacking the city using high-powered weapons, and they're also using Kryptonite, which is too dangerous for one of my friends because it could drain all her powers and possibly kill her," you explained, dropping your bags back inside your apartment as you prepared to head towards the chaos.
"You can't go out there. You're going to hurt your baby," Wanda said, trying to block your way.
"Wanda's right, honey. It's far too dangerous for you," Tony agreed, echoing your best friend's concern.
"But they're my friends, and I have powers that can help protect them. I'm not just going to sit here and do nothing, praying for a miracle!" you exclaimed, aware that every second you weren't there, Kara was suffering even more.
"Alright, Wanda and I can help them. You stay here. I'm not going to risk the life of my daughter and unborn grandchild for some criminals with possession of an unknown material. Give me Lena's number, I'll contact her," your dad said, determined. Knowing him, he wouldn't take no for an answer in situations like this. You peacefully complied and provided Lena's contact information.
Immediately, Tony called Lena to gather more information about the situation while preparing his nanotech suit.
"Please be safe," you told Tony and Wanda, feeling a mix of worry and relief. You had faced much worse enemies with them than those criminals, so the cocky expression on your father's face as he spoke to Lena indicated that it would be relatively easy for him and Wanda.
"Please make sure Kara's okay," you said to Wanda, still concerned about your Kryptonian friend.
"Got it. Wanda and I are on our way. Don't worry, kid, we got this," your dad assured you after addressing Lena through FRIDAY.

All you could do was watch from the television as you saw your dad and friends fighting against those criminals. Kara was down and had returned to the DEO with Brainy, who had also been knocked down by one of the high-tech weapons.
Unable to bear the anxiety coursing through your veins, you disregarded everyone's concerns and used your speed to rush into the midst of it all.
Summoning your powers, much like Wanda's, you created a massive shield to protect your friends.
"Y/n, what are you doing here?!" you heard your dad shout.
Upon hearing your name through Tony's comms, Lena stood up from her seat, frightened by the potential danger you might face if you weren't careful enough.
"Not the right time for a lecture, Dad. Let's just finish this," you grunted, bending the earth to create a towering wall that loomed over the criminals, crushing it down upon them. Manipulating the earth further, you piled rocks upon rocks, unconcerned about whether they were being crushed or not.
"YOU." Stack. "FUCKING." Stack. "STAY DOWN!" Stack.
You possessed too much energy and anger to notice the astonishment on the faces of your friends from National City.
"YOU HURT MY FUCKING FRIENDS. I'M GONNA KILL YOU! THAT'S RIGHT... KILL!"
Your hormones had already fueled your hostility towards the criminals. Now that the threat had been eliminated, although still disappointed that you had defied their wishes, Wanda couldn't help but laugh at your protective instincts.
"Alright, tiger, party time's over. Let them go. Your friends will take care of locking them up now," your dad said from behind you, placing his hands on your shoulders to calm you down.
Realizing the scene you had caused, you promptly followed your dad's instruction and restored the earth to its normal state.
"Damn, you knocked them out cold, Y/n," Alex said, impressed by your powers.
"But don't you ever do that again. It was reckless and dangerous. You're lucky those guys were no match for you," Alex added. Just as you were about to argue, your Sokovian best friend interrupted.
"She's right, you know," Wanda agreed.
"I don't believe we've been introduced. I'm Wanda," your best friend added, now addressing the older Danvers.
"I'm Alex. Nice to meet you. You've got cool powers, by the way," Alex greeted, shaking Wanda's hand, which made the Sokovian smile in response to the compliment.
As you were about to say something to both of them, someone with a familiar scent dragged you away.
"Hey! What the...?"
"How can you be so reckless, Y/n?" Lena's voice pierced through your thoughts.
'Ahh... Lena,' you thought to yourself.
"You could've been hurt there! You're lucky those guys were too weak; otherwise, you could've been in serious trouble," she continued, her worry evident in her face contorting with various emotions. You admired the beauty of her voice and the cuteness that emerged when she was concerned. You loved how passionate she was about keeping you and your baby safe, and once again, that familiar feeling stirred in your gut.
"...are you even listening to me?" Lena finally asked, realizing that your mind had wandered off somewhere.
"Huh?" you asked, and your lack of response made Lena sigh in defeat.
Pulling you by the arm, Lena enveloped you in a tight hug.
"I'm just glad you're safe. Don't you ever scare me like that again," she said, releasing you but taking a few steps back. This time, it was you who reached out and grabbed her by the arms.
Regaining the confidence you had from the previous night, you looked into her eyes, searching for any signs of protest against what you were about to do.
Finding none, both of you instinctively leaned closer, feeling the warmth of each other's breath on your lips.
"Lee..." you quietly said, as if the unspoken approval wasn't enough.
With no more patience left, Lena gently placed her hand on your nape, drawing you closer until your lips finally met hers.
"Is that enough for approval?" Lena whispered, her breath taken away by the sensation of your lips against hers.
Unable to find your voice, you nodded before closing the gap between you and Lena once again. This time, both of you smiled through the kiss.
