"When you told Molly and Arthur we needed to work I didn't think you were being serious" Spencer said out of breath, walking up the stairs carrying boxes.
"Your efforts will be rewarded"
"Listen here fortune cookie" Spencer dropped them. "I have no type of body strength- I'm pretty sure I'm sweating through my shirt and I couldn't find my deodorant this morning!"
"It's not going through your shirt and I wasn't going to say anything" he shrugged.
Spencer grabbed a file and smacked his side.
Remus laughed as he took out his wand and pointed it at the boxes. "They should be a bit lighter now"
"You couldn't do that earlier?"
"I didn't know you didn't have body strength" he shrugged.
"When have you ever-"
"You run" he cut her off. "You go on runs and- in hindsight you're right okay now let's go" he continued walking.
Spencer took a step back as she felt herself bump into something. "Thanks for telling me" she set the boxes down.
"Ms. Venus. A word" Snape spoke.
"Hey you're not-" she began to chuckle but was cut off.
"Not here" he said angrily.
"Kinda busy" she kicked the boxes and looked at Remus.
Snape pointed his wand toward the boxes and levitated them alongside Remus. "They'll follow you- now leave" he spoke.
"You are such a-" Spencer looked Remus' way.
"With pleasure" Remus walked away.
"How can I help you" Spencer looked from Remus' back to Snape.
"You can help me by serving detention every Friday of January- along with the Weasleys"
"Why would I do that to myself-"
"I'm not in pink" he said through his teeth.
"What a shame, I'd think you'd rock it" she said louder and louder as he began to walk away.
"Hey" she followed him.
He turned around.
"Is your room still pink?" she tried hiding her smile.
"C'mon dad! You know you're proud" she said as he walked further away.
Spencer chuckled before walking to Remus' classroom.
"Hey" Remus looked up.
"How could you leave me" she crossed her hands.
"The minute I left I knew I made the biggest mistake of my life" he stood up. "Will you ever forgive me?"
"Red velvet cupcakes" she said before walking past him and up to his room.
She rolled her eyes at his made bed before sitting down on it. "C'mon we have a bazillion boxes left" Remus walked in.
Spencer yawned, "I'm kind of tired."
"Someone needs to fire you" he shook his head.
"Someone won't- I'm special and he knows it"
Remus nodded before kissing her cheek and closing the door.
Spencer took a nap as Remus continued to put things away.
Once he finished he went up to his room, kneeling down at placing his hand on her face. He caressed her cheek softly, repeating her name so she could wake up.
"No," she turned around, "come sleep with me" she pet her side.
"Love"
"Yes darling"
"It's way after noon"
"C'mon, you know you wanna" she said tiredly.
"You're a horrible person" he chuckled, undressing and getting in bed with her.
"Yeah yeah, heard it all before" she wrapped her arm around him.
Remus smiled as he got closer, rubbing her back.
"Can you make the cupcakes tonight?" she asked into his chest.
Remus chuckled before nodding and kissing her head. "Yeah" he replied.
"You're the best" she kissed his sweater.
"What did Snape want"
"Oh nothing... we turned everything he owns pink and he's a little mad" she shrugged.
"Funny" he chuckled.
"I'm being serious" she yawned.
"Seriously?" she asked as he stopped rubbing her back.
"Hey- keep going" she chuckled.
"You're not dead" he spoke.
"Of course I'm not" she giggled. "He wouldn't kill me"
"But he's-"
"Can we talk about this later" she yawned.
Remus nodded smiling, "yeah love" he said as he began rubbing her back again.

"Okay so you want to- ah! Quit it, I'm speaking" Remus said as he felt Spencer shock his body.
"Sorry," she chuckled. "I'll stop. Promise" she smiled, setting her hand down.
"You want to shield the part of your body I'm aiming for- it's hard in general to shield your whole body so let's start small okay?" Remus spoke.
"Mhm" Spencer nodded, picking up her wand.
"Let's try your left side" he nodded.
"Alright" she nodded back.
The two went on and on, Spencer being too stubborn to tell him it was starting to hurt.
It was until Remus saw her gripping her side that he knew it was enough.
He was starting to get hungry anyway.
"Dinner?" Remus asked.
"No" she shook her head. "C'mon let's keep going" she raised her wand.
"I'm kinda hungry" he stretched his arms.
"Fine" she rolled her eyes. "Only because you're making cupcakes" she pointed her finger at him.
"Yes yes" he walked up to her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Spencer smiled before looking up at him, kissing him on the lips.
"Hungry" he spoke through the kiss.
"Right" she chuckled. She kissed him again before walking toward the door.
As she opened it and began to step out she noticed a figure and stumbled back.
"Professor Dumbledore" Spencer's eyes widened as she smiled.
"You oka-" Remus stoped speaking as he say Dumbledore at the door. "Professor" Remus nodded.
"Remus, Spencer" he smiled.
A few awkward moments passed before Spencer spoke, "well I'm heading to bed" she walked outside.
"Thanks for the lesson Professor, hopefully next time my endurance lasts" she nodded before leaving.
Remus tried to hide his grin in front of Dumbledore as both of them watched her leave.
Spencer walked to her room but stopped as someone called her.
"Hey, heard you were back. Why didn't I see you at dinner?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah- Lupin has me doing some work" she nodded. "How are you?"
"Good" he blushed.
"Gross" she hit him with her shoulder.
"You?" he shook his head grinning.
"Need some water but other than that I'm good" she wrapped her arm around his. "Have you heard from Mel?" she asked.
"No actually" he replied. "But erm- look" he stopped walking.
Spencer faced him.
"I've been hearing some stuff" he said awkwardly.
"What stuff?" she asked.
"She's been hanging out with some Slytherins" he shrugged. "You know... we haven't seen her as much-"
"Just because we haven't seen her doesn't mean she th... it's Melissa" she chuckled.
"I'm not saying that either! It's just... they're not good Slytherins Spence. Look I'm just- looking out for you okay?" he gripped her shoulders.
"Well who is she hanging out with?"
"Sorry?" Andrew asked.
"You know... which Slytherins"
Andrew bit the inside of his lip. His hand went to his back pocket and brought whatever he had to the front.
A rose appeared.
"Happy Christmas Spencer" he handed it to her.
"How did you do that?" she chuckled grabbing it.
"Store said that if I clutch it twice it'll appear when I want it to" he nodded. "See you later" he kissed her cheek before walking away.
After a minute of staring at the rose disappearing and appearing again Spencer realized what he had done.
"Oh you prick" she said out loud, looking at the way he walked.
"Language Ms. Venus" a ghost said.
"Sorry" she apologized as the ghost flew away, seeing them shake their head.
Spencer continued to walk to her room.
She took her shoes off and left them by the door, walking to the kitchen and beginning to cook food.
Remus came in, setting down his bag on the couch and taking a deep breath before going into the kitchen.
"You okay?" Spencer asked as she kept stirring the pot.
"Mmh" he wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her shoulder.
"What happened"
"Nothing, we were just talking about-" Remus stopped talking as he heard a knock on the door.
"It's probably Andrew," she took her apron off, "I saw him earlier" she kissed his cheek.
Remus nodded as she left the kitchen.
"If you think I'm going to let you get away with what you did you're dead wro- Abby" Spencer said as she walked to the door and opened it.
"Hey" she smiled.
"Hi" she replied.
"Hi"
"Sorry I thought you were Andrew- what's up?" Spencer asked.
"Oh uhm do you want to go to the lake with me?" she asked.
"Right now?"
"Yeah" she shrugged. "Or- you know another time" she smiled.
"I- It's just I think I'm coming down with something sorry" she sadly smiled. "But let's definitely go another time" she nodded.
"Sure" Abigail smiled. "Happy new year" she hugged her.
"Yeah- you too" Spencer chuckled, rubbing Abigail's back.
As she left, Spencer closed her door.
She walked back in, finding Remus in the living room.
"Don't even think about it" she walked past him, ignoring the look on his face.
"I didn't say anything" he spoke as he leaned against the table, his arms crossed.
"Aren't you going to ask what Andrew did?"
"What did he do" he walked into the kitchen, taking out plates.
"Well," she said as she put food on them, "when Dumbledore interrupted us he found me walking to my room" she walked to the table.
After taking a sip of water she added, "and he- well it all started because I asked about Melissa"
"Still awkward?" he asked.
"You could say that" she nodded sadly. "Anyway Andrew said that she's been hanging out with some Slytherins."
Remus stopped chewing his pasta and looked up at her.
"Then I said that just because she's hanging out with Slytherins doesn't mean she thinks like the majority of them... he said he's not saying that either but that she's not hanging out with good Slytherins either way"
"He just- he's looking out for me," she nodded, "and when I asked who she was hanging out with he distracted me with some stupid party trick" she smiled fondly.
Remus chuckled, "Your attention span really is something."
"Shut up" she laughed.
"So what do you think? About Melissa" he asked as the laughing dialed down.
"I don't know" Spencer shrugged. "It's Melissa" she added.
"Right" he nodded.
"I mean- I don't want to think she's- She's not Jack" she said before taking a bite of her food.
"What do you-"
"He's not the best person but we knew that- anyway wanna go to the lake with me after dinner?"
"Did he do something to you?"
"Just leave it Remus it happened a while ago, lake or no?"
"Spence-"
"Remus," she smiled, "he's a dick. whatever, ok? It doesn't matter what he did because Fred and George beat him up for it. Lake?"
After a few seconds he nodded.
"I thought you were coming down with something?" he smirked.
Spencer nudged his foot under the table and smiled.
"Ok but not for long because I want to cuddle and we need to finish reading-"
"Yes yes yes" Spencer smiled.

"Sit with me" she pet the empty space beside her.
"My butt is going to be wet" Remus shook his head.
"So?"
"So? I don't want a wet butt"
"Drying charm," she shrugged, "now quit being a baby" she reached for him arm.
Remus shook his head as he took her hand and sat next to her.
"Do you not like snow?" Spender asked.
Remus scrunched his nose, "I do but-"
"Wet butt" she nodded, laying down.
"What are you-"
"C'mon Remus, look at the stars with me" she faced him.
"You're so-"
"Beautiful? Amazing?" she chuckled.
"Bossy" he said before laying down.
Spencer smiled before looking back up at the sky, intertwining their hands together.
"This is crazy" she spoke after a few minutes.
"What is?"
"Us" she answered. "I mean, we live in a time where we're both alive. Out of the billions of people in the earth, we met?"
"Did you make those brownies again? And why didn't you give me any" he complained.
"Stop I'm being serious," she chuckled, "out of all the universes were both in this one."
"You think there are different universes?"
"You think we're the only planet with life in space?" she asked.
"True" he nodded. "What do you think you're doing in that other universe?" he asked.
"Not shagging my teacher" she chuckled.
Remus shook his head laughing.
"Probably dead" she pointed out.
Remus stopped laughing.
"It was a joke, laugh" she clutched his hand.
"Don't joke about that" he said softly.
"Fine" she nodded. "Then I'm probably... I don't know" she shrugged.
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"I don't know" she repeated. "If I never met you I'd probably just have a boring school year, daydreaming about you bending me over on your desk" she faced him.
"Okay okay" he reddened, facing her.
He smiled at her, staring at her features before kissing her softly.
He moved his body on top of hers, moving his hand under her clothes.
As she yelped he took it off, wondering what happened.
"We're outside Remus, guess" she chuckled.
Remus looked down at his hand, seeing snow on top of it.
"Sorry love, I forgot" he kissed her.
"Probably for the best," she smiled, "if we have sex here we don't have sex in the library" she bopped his nose.
"Who said that?" he asked.
"Me" she kissed him.
"I'm not a fan of her" he shook his head, laying back down.
"Yes you are" she smirked.
"Yes I am" he chuckled.
"Tengo frío" she spoke.
"What does that mean?"
"I'm cold" she replied.
"Tengo frío" he repeated.
"Sí"

"Let's go back inside" he sat up.
Spencer groaned before getting up, gabbing his hand and heading toward the castle.
"Thank you" he spoke.
"For what?" she asked.
"This" he answered. "You didn't have to... you said it's nothing so I believe you" he smiled.
Spencer stopped walking and looked up at the sky as it began to snow.
"Winter," she said before looking at him, "the season where Remus realized he can trust people."
"Not people, just you" he kissed her head.
