THE SUN WAS SHINING HAPPILY ONTO WESTVIEW, NEW JERSEY. The temperature was perfect and not a speck of clouds in the blue sky, and a good day for those who deeply wanted to spend their time outdoors. Unlike the day of Eszter's arrival, the teenager was quite content with the weather Mother Nature had given them, and she felt excited for a new day.

Shortly after spending her breakfast with Agnes--the woman woke up at the crack of dawn and made quite the breakfast for two and practically made Eszter stay with her--Eszter resorted to Wanda's humble home. The night spent with Agnes wasn't as bad as she assumed it to be, but quite the opposite; Eszter and Agnes chitchat about a few things regarding the teenager's story and her likes and dislikes, but Eszter couldn't destroy the knacking thoughts regarding the book about spells.

It teased her all night, but with a heavy heart, Eszter forced herself to talk about anything else. She felt almost embarrassed about thinking such nonsense, but Eszter was burning with curiosity, and the questions she had floating around in her head remained answerless. Eszter was furious with her inner battle because her anxiety won that round, forcing the witch to seize up and keep her mouth shut. Agnes might've been just as intrigued as Eszter, but the woman must have a breaking point when it comes to dark magic; from the looks of it, Eszter believed she might be a witch who deals with something evil.

Eszter can't imagine the horrific look on Agnes' face if she blatantly spat out the truth of herself that she'd learned from a strange boy.

Nevertheless, Eszter had returned to Wanda's home in a chirpy mood.

"How did the dinner go?" Eszter asked, stepping into the living room as she stepped down the stairs, appropriately dressed.

Wanda glanced up from her book while she sat on the sofa, smiling politely at the sight of her sister. "Somewhat great, I guess," chuckled Wanda, closing her book and standing from the couch to set it on the coffee table. "It was, uh . . . interesting. Still, everything went well--Vision had been offered a promotion."

"That's amazing! He deserves it. He knows computing better than anyone there combined."

"And wanna know the best part?" Wanda asked, smiling so hard her cheeks were starting to burn. Eszter made a face of amusement, wondering what made Wanda so giggly. "Remember the lobsters, the ones that were meant for the dinner?"

Eszter raises a brow, amused. "The ones the flew the coop?"

Wanda merely rolls her eyes, still beaming. "Yes. It turns out that they make a great door knocker."

"A door--" laughter cracked in between Eszter's words, breaking it apart as she struggled to breathe. "--A door--a door knocker?" Eszter was clutching her stomach at this point. "How'd it end up there?"

"Beats me," Wanda shrugs with a funny face. "It was a weird night, but somehow, it ended on a good note."

"That's good. My night was good, too," Eszter babbled on, earning a small chuckle from Wanda. "Agnes is surprisingly nice to talk to, so you have my consent to befriend her."

"Well, I'm glad you like her because so do I. It would be awkward had she and I not get along while we live next door."

Eszter hums in agreement, craning her neck around as she scans the living room, frowning shortly as she only found two black bags sat on the sofa. Vision was missing from the living room, and Eszter hadn't seen him since she returned to their home from Agnes' house, but the humanoid was missing suddenly. Vision had snuck off somewhere.

"Speaking of Vision, where is he?" Eszter sprung back toward Wanda. "I saw him this morning when I came home."

"Oh, yeah, Vis is getting dressed," answered Wanda. "We signed up to participate in the talent show for the children! Vis and I are magicians, so I had borrowed a fake wardrobe from a friend to use in the talent show."

"I didn't know you guys were doing the talent show," hummed Eszter, shifting her eyes up to Wanda, brows furrowed. "You didn't sign me up, did you?"

Wanda chuckled at her reaction. "No, I didn't. I didn't know whether or not you wanted to, but if you wanted, I can talk to Dottie and get you on the list."

Eszter's eyes widen in terror, rapidly shaking her head. "No, thanks," she chuckles nervously. The thought of having to make a fool of herself in front of strangers didn't sound appealing to Eszter. "No offense, Wands, but it sounds ridiculous."

Wanda pouted. "Uh--well, I don't think it is," defended Wanda, frowning at Eszter as she second-guessed her decision of participating in the talent show, but she remembered why she joined. "Vis is just as excited as I am to be participating in our city talent show."

"What are you two doing for your act?"

A wide grin stretched on Wanda's face, tugging her lips ear-to-ear, forcing the apples of her cheeks to grow red. "Why don't we show you. Vis! Vis, come down!" Wanda called out for her husband, knowing he was upstairs changing into his suit for the talent show. "He's just upstairs changing. He had gotten his costume earlier this morning, so he's a bit excited."

The Maximoff sisters stood in the living room as they waited for Vision. There was a shout coming from somewhere upstairs; Vision alerted the sisters he was on his way down, and his heavy footsteps alerted the two that he was making his way back into the living room.

Vision wore a sleek black blazer with a tail, generally worn by a pianist or a magician, a clean white button-up, a dark tie, light dress pants, and shiny black shoes. Eszter snorted as her eyes captured a top hat perched on the top of his head, sitting tall and proud. A wand was clutched in Vision's right hand, looking more like a wizard than a magician. Eszter was struggling to swallow the laughter that was bubbling up from her belly, nearly sputtering past her lips, but Eszter clamped her lips shut.

"What do you think?" Vision asked, twirling on his toes as he held his arms out to give the women a view of his outfit, then he wiggled his wand.

Wanda was clapping her hands almost aggressively and a pretty smile plastered on her face. "You look amazing, honey!" Wanda cheered for her husband, filled with adoration that glistened in her eyes.

If Vision could blush, he'd be blushing, but there was no heat to flush to his cheeks.

"Thank you, darling," a giddy Vision thanked, grinning shyly. "What about you, Eszter? What do you think of my outfit? Do I look like a magician?" He posed quickly for the teenager's opinion, holding his wand high in the air.

Eszter perked up at the sound of her name, but the teenager was hoping they wouldn't ask her opinion; Eszter thought it was a little ridiculous because Vision didn't look like he was playing a magician, and it seemed almost tacky. However, Eszter didn't want to hurt Vision's feelings by making funny comments on his look, so the teenager was careful with her words.

Forgetting who Eszter was, she doesn't have a great filter of knowing what to say and what not to say.

"You look like a ridiculous wizard," Eszter's widen in horror, cuffing her hand over her mouth and staring appalled at a hurt Vision. "No, I--I didn't mean that. I meant to say you look like a wizard--" Eszter grimaced to her response, feeling stupid for disrespecting Vision in his own home. "Sorry, I don't think before I speak."

But to Eszter's surprise, Wanda and Vision didn't look upset anymore, but instead, they were both grinning like fools and broke out into a fit of laughter; they seemed to have found Eszter's comment hilarious, and Vision was beginning to see the resemblance. He did look like a wizard.

Vision tugged on the front of his blazer, calming himself from his laughter as he glanced at Eszter. "I do, don't I?" Then he looked at Wanda with a knowing look. "I told you it looked off."

"You picked the outfit, honey."

The look of realization struck Vision's expression. "Oh, I'm afraid you're correct there," he mutters between his teeth, fiddling with the hollow wand between his fingers. Then, he waves it. "How about we show Eszter our act and get her opinion since she's honest."

Still grimacing, Eszter felt apologetic. "I'm sorry," she almost whispered, feeling a little embarrassed for her action. "I swear, I meant it as a compliment."

"No worries, Eszter. I can handle the truth," claimed Vision, who was sporting a cheerful smile. He walked closer toward Eszter, leaning closer to her as he muttered something quietly to her only. "I can't say the same thing for Wanda, though."

Eszter snickered to herself, quietly agreeing with a subtle nod. She and Vision shared their laughs before he broke off with a loud noise, and Vision was motioning Wanda to get into position. Wanda nodded once before rushing around the stairs and into the hallway, seemingly looking for something that Eszter wasn't sure of--either that or Wanda was running away, but she doubted that.

Vision directed Eszter toward the single-chaired sofa across the larger one, motioning for her to sit as she would be playing as their audience. Eszter didn't mind; if she were allowed to make fun of Wanda and Vision, she'd happily oblige. She wasn't going to be rough with her critiques, but Eszter was going to be as honest as she could be. Eszter would want Wanda to be brutally honest with her if she planned on joining a talent show, and Eszter didn't want Wanda and Vision to make a fool of themselves.

"Are you ready, dear?" Vision called.

"Ready!"

Vision cleared his throat, putting an act for his one guest. "Ladies and gentlemen--but for this case, lady--for my final trick, I bring you the Cabinet of Mysteries," he spoke loud yet soft, edging his voice to create ambiance and awe. Vision waves his wand high in the air, swirling it in a circle, and flicks it in the direction where Wanda had rushed off.

Eszter looked from Vision to the hallway, then back at Vision, but this time, she had an eyebrow raised; so far, Eszter thought it was going somewhere, which is a good sign. However, Eszter hoped Wanda doesn't miss her cue during the show; otherwise, it wouldn't look too good on their part, and Vision would be stuck trying to reel his wife to get the show going.

Awkwardly standing in silence, Vision bit his cheek as he knew his wife had missed her cue, and now he was left with a judgmental teenager; Vision could practically feeling Eszter's amused gaze burning in the back of his head, but he was afraid to look back and offer a quick smile. Vision thought he could handle the feedback, but he was getting a little nervous knowing Eszter was watching them.

Finally, Vision broke the silence.

"Darling, that's your cue," Vision scratched his head underneath his hat.

"Did you say, 'Cabinet of Mysteries'?"

"I said, 'The Cabinet of Mysteries,'" repeated Vision with the same energy as before, flicking his wand in the direction where Wanda hid.

Eszter's grin stayed put on her face, failing to fall as she was pleasantly enjoying the show. Even as it looked as if it wasn't going correctly, Wanda and Vision managed to create humor into their act.

Wanda exclaimed in the back room. "Oh, that's my cue," she quickly pushed a large box into the living room, catching both Eszter and Vision by surprise. "Ooh!"

"Holy Toledo!" Vision stared at the large cupboard. Feeling the urge to help his wife, Vision broke character and began helping Wanda but dragging the box into the living room. "Darling, do all the other acts in the talent show have such elaborate props?"

The magic box looked like a typical wardrobe with swirling designs carved on the top half of the cabinet, and the legs looked like actual feet. An eye-catching design was printed on the front two doors of the cabinet, and Eszter couldn't help but stare at it observantly as it stood boldly in the room. An object--a stone, perhaps--sat in the top center of the door, and like it was glistening brightly, flares were surrounding it.

Wanda walked around the cabinet with a displeased look. "Are you kidding? Fred and Linda are building a moat and a fully functioning portcullis, and no one even knows why," reasoned Wanda. No longer needing to explain, Wanda motions Vision back to his spot, flashing Eszter a quick smile. "Let's keep going."

"Yes, yes. Where was I? Um--" Vision nearly forgot, but it came back to him. "Watch closely as I, Illusion, Master of Enigma, make my captivating assistant, Glamour--" Wanda poses and makes a face, causing Eszter to chuckle into her fist. "--Disappear."

Eszter watched as Wanda and Vision, otherwise known as Illusion and Glamour, pull each door open as the strawberry-haired woman gasps lightly; she was attempting to create suspense, Eszter noticed.

Wanda tiptoed into the cabinet, and for a moment, the woman forgot they were acting out their show in front of Eszter. "You really are dashing," complimented Wanda to Vision, knowing her heart was swelling deep in her chest.

Vision hums. "Thank you, darling," he shuffled in Wanda's previous stomach, jumping back into character. "Fear not, Glamour--" Wanda pulled her arms close to her chest, feining sheer terror by the looks of it. "For I, Illusion, vow to bring you back exactly as you are."

Shuddering to fill the suspense, Wanda shimmied further into the cabinet as Vision shuts the doors, shielding Eszter's eyes from her sister. Eszter enjoyed the show so far, knowing the prop was cheap and obvious, but the teenager acted cluelessly.

"Abracadabra!" Vision cried out, tapping his wand against the cabinet about three times. Then, he opens it with disappointment. "Ta-ta . . ."

Realizing they had finished, Eszter clapped ever so slowly but all at the same time delighted. A rather loud and speedy clap overlapped Eszter's, and it came from the cabinet; Wanda pushed the secret door open and slipped out from behind the hidden compartment, overjoyed for Vision and the act. Eszter observed their behavior--although Vision was displeased by their attempt to fake their show, Wanda was being the proud wife and was cheering her husband rightfully.

This caught Eszter's attention, and she was intrigued. It reminded her of how she once was with a friend of hers, and Eszter remembered how she'd cheer him on for something he somewhat enjoyed--more than she. It was nice; Eszter knew that much.

Maybe it was because Eszter enjoyed watching Wanda being happy for once, getting the happy ending she rightfully deserves; Eszter envied their relationship. Like every younger sibling usually does, idolizing their older siblings occasionally, and Eszter can agree she has grown up wanting to be exactly like Wanda. And now, Wanda is happily married to the man she loves, and Eszter wants nothing more than to have that fair share of happiness for herself.

Vision stood silently next to the cabinet with his head down, using his top hat to shield the gloomy expression that manifested on his face. Unfortunately, Eszter couldn't read the emotions that were computing in his head, so she depended heavily on his words and facial expressions.

"Yes, um, Wanda, you're not at all worried that the audience might just see through this little charade?" Vision asked worriedly, walking back to the couch, discarding his wand.

"Well, that's the whole point," exclaimed Wanda. "In a real magic act, everything is fake." Wanda closes the cabinet doors. "Darling, the talent show fundraiser is the most important event of the season, and it's our neighborly duty to participate." She adds on. "Plus, it's our chance to appear as normal as possible while doing so."

Vision pointed at his face, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, I don't think that should be a problem."

"This our home now," said Wanda after a moment of silence, catching both Eszter and Vision's attention. "I want us to fit in."

Eszter frowns, knowing exactly how Wanda feels.

"Oh, darling, we do. We shall. And we're gonna knock their socks off," cheered Vision with a small fist pump into the air for emphasis. "Especially with you wearing this--" the humanoid picked up a glittery, sequence bodysuit he had lying on the couch.

Eszter snorted. "Where's the rest of it?" She joked.

Vision lifts his gaze, mouth opening for a response, but he quickly clamped it shut when he realized there was no explanation for Wanda's costume. Normally, the magician's assistance would wear something similar to the one he had for Wanda, after doing a much needed research; Vision thought it would suit the act if Wanda dressed according, but now, Vision was second-guessing his decision.

Joining in on the fun, Wanda jokes. "Oh, that's actually the rest of Vision's costume."

"Oh!" Vision chirped, pressing the one-piece against his chest.

Eszter grinned, suppressing her laughter. "Wow, Vision, it really brings out the Stone in your forehead," the teenager finally cackled, earning a little smile from Wanda.

Then, Wanda inspected her watch. "Well, I better get going if I'm gonna make the planning committee meeting," she glanced back at Vision as he was putting on a sweater, so Wanda turned her attention toward Eszter. "E, would you like to come with me? I'm sure Agnes will be attending as well."

"Yeah. Agnes had invited me right before I left this morning," Eszter informs. "'Said she wanted me to meet someone."

"Perfect," Wanda beams. "Maybe to introduce you to someone your age."

Eszter shrugs. "Kind of hard to find anyone my age here," she noted.

She hadn't noticed it before, but Eszter felt like the only teenager in the little town; not a sight of someone close to her age had remotely shown their face, but Eszter presumes it might be because she hadn't been out since her arrival. Showing up later at night at Wanda's for a starter and then visiting Agnes' home had been the only locations Eszter had been to.

For the first time of visiting Westview, Eszter would be exploring more of the town than she had been given since her arrival. The nighttime made it difficult for Eszter to sight-see, so she was out of luck of discovering new places and people.

"That's me off as well, actually. And after last night's excitement, I want to make sure this town's security is up to snuff."

Wanda was edging this on. "That's a swell idea," like an angry kitten, Wanda acted fiercely. "You tell those tree branches who's boss."

The couple shares a kiss.

"Would you look at us? Wanda and Vision, Westview fitter-inners."

Wanda chuckles adorably, then waving her hand. "I'll see you at curtain call."

Later that morning, shortly after Vision had left, Eszter helped Wanda clean up the living room and pushing the cabinet into the back room while they waited for Agnes. The meeting was only in a few minutes, so the sisters were getting ready to leave.

"What happened last night?" Eszter wondered from the living room, lifting her voice enough for Wanda to hear from the kitchen.

"Hmm?" Wanda hadn't heard.

"Vision seemed spooked about whatever happened last night," repeated Eszter. "What happened?"

"Oh, nothing to worry about, but some tree branches were banging loudly against the window; it frightened Vision and I," Wanda chuckles at the memory.

Eszter frowned because that sounded awfully familiar to what she had heard, but she never noticed any trees clanging against her window. However, a sense of familiarity flashed across her features for a brief moment, but Eszter quickly covered it up before Wanda could catch onto it. Similar to her powers, Eszter knew Wanda would've read her mind and saw it.

Instead, Eszter nodded and agreed that a tree branch is a scary thing to see in the darkness, so she understands Vision's weariness.

Silently, Wanda left the kitchen and made her way toward the chair across from Eszter, deciding to fluff the pillows to give herself something to do in the meantime. However, neither of the sisters was expecting such a loud noise to disturb their peace. Eszter jumped in surprise as her hand shot out and clutched her chest, trying to ease the racing heart that was thumping loudly in her chest like a drum.

Both Wanda and Eszter became alert as they suspected something shifting in the atmosphere, like something that wasn't meant to be here. Eszter had felt it, too.

"Did you hear that?" Wanda asked in a hushed voice, afraid that something might go wrong if she were any louder.

Tensing, Eszter made a face like she wasn't sure what Wanda was talking about. "Uh, hear what?"

Frowning deeply, Wanda lifted a dainty finger toward the front door, unable to tear her gaze away from it. "That loud thud. You must've heard it," Wanda drifted away from the living room and toward the front door.

"Wanda, what?" Eszter stumbled up to her feet and made a mad dash after Wanda, following her sister outside. "Wanda, surely it's nothing. The meeting will be starting shortly, and we should probably start walking if we wanna make it on time."

"Just give me a second, Eszter. I know I heard something outside, and I intend to find out."

Chewing on her lip, Eszter trailed behind Wanda without much of choice, watching as her strawberry-haired sister looked up and down the street and high into the trees. Still, nothing oddly peculiar stood out to alert Wanda of the thudding she had heard twice already. Eszter wasn't sure what it was specifically, but she had a hunch of what it could be.

"Wands--"

"Wait," Wanda halts in her stride, spotting something very odd laying in her rose bushes. The woman stared at it briefly, but she seemed more focused on the fact that it was glowing--no, it wasn't glowing, it was colorful. "Do you see that? Over there?"

Eszter followed Wanda's finger to where she was pointing, but the teenager surpassed the bushes and turned her gaze across the street toward Wanda's neighbors but found nothing. Confused about what her sister was going on about, Eszter merely frowns as she shakes her head.

"No? What am I supposed to be looking at?"

"There, in my rose bush," Wanda pointed once more before lowering her arm, making her way toward the bushes with Eszter trailing close behind. Wanda was confused, and say she say, terrified to find a red and yellow toy helicopter hiding in her bushes.

Finally, Eszter saw it. "Is it . . . colored?" Her eyes widen slowly.

"Strange," Wanda whispers, picking the toy up by the tail like she was holding a rat, almost scared of it. Nevertheless, Wanda inspected it closely as she noted the colorful tones.

Eszter was peeking over Wanda's shoulder on her tippy toes, curious to catch a glance at the toy. "Maybe someone was flying it, and it crash-landed in your bushes," joked Eszter with a slight chuckle, but she froze tensely when her eyes locked onto the familiar emblem painted on the front nose of the helicopter.

"Look, it's the star o' the show!" Agnes' voice pierces into the concentrated silence.

Wanda and Eszter gasp in surprise, jumping out of their skins when Agnes' voice booms into their ears; both women had been distracted by the toy plane for different reasons, and they both had the gears running in their heads and coming up with various theories and fears. Eszter didn't know if she still had the look of horror on her face when she jumped and stared at Agnes, not noticing Wanda dropping the red toy into the bushes, attempting to bury it deep inside.

"Agnes," exclaimed Wanda with a deep sigh, trying to catch her breath while playing off her uncomfortable feeling. "I'm sorry. What did you say?"

"Oh, I brought my pet rabbit," Agnes says, swinging a metal cage up and onto the wooded fence, showcasing a little rabbit that Eszter recognized. "For your magic act."

It only took a second for Wanda to get back into character. "Yes, of course! Thank you, Agnes. We will take good care of him."

As Wanda approaches the cage, Eszter steps forward.

"I'll go ahead and take him," Eszter offers, snatching the cage from Agnes' grip as she makes to have a secure hold of the rabbit's cage.

Eszter turns around and makes her way back toward the house, being extra careful with Agnes' rabbit as she walks away.

"Señor Scratchy just loves the stage. He played baby Jesus in last year's Christmas pageant."

"Oh," Wanda chirped.

Agnes' voice got further away as Eszter slipped into the house and carried Señor Scratchy to the table, unsure where to sit him, so she left him on the coffee table. After carefully setting the rabbit aside, Eszter walked back outside and met the older women in the same spot.

Once Wanda spotted her sister, she flashed Agnes a smile. "Shall we?"

"Oh, we shall," smiled Agnes, who lifted her arm for Wanda to hook onto.

Once she did, both Wanda and Agnes took the lead while Eszter followed behind, willing herself not to turn around, but she did; the witch stared at the bushes where she'd seen the toy helicopter, growing more and more anxious as she was walking away from the house.

Unaware of the uneasiness that triggered the Maximoff sisters, Agnes' cheerful attitude was almost infectious, but barely.

Agnes didn't hear. "Are you ready to meet Queen Cul de Sac and her Merry Homemakers?" The woman jokes lightly, already dreading the meeting as they were walking further down the street. "Guess Eszter lucked out on this one, right? She won't be there for long, but a quick greeting will do just fine."

Eszter makes a face. "I have to talk to her?"

However, the women ignored Eszter's sassy question, assuming she had been muttering to herself.

Wanda chuckles. "Agnes, Dottie can't be as bad as you say."

Agnes hums in disagreement. "Well, you'll notice her roses bloom under penalty of death," suddenly, the woman rounded forward and cut Wanda off, forcing Eszter to stop walking abruptly. "Wanda, can I give you a bit of friendly advice?"

"Is it about the way how I'm dressed?"

"Yes, but it's too late for that--" Agnes disregarded the worried look striking Wanda's face but quickly continued with her rambling. "Dottie is the key to everything in this town. Country club memberships, parties, school admissions . . ."

Agnes gave Wanda a knowing look as she drifted her eyes down to the woman's belly, hinting at a possible pregnancy.

Eszter's eyes widened briefly, but then she thought about it for a moment the idea didn't sound bad; she would love to become an aunt, and honestly, Eszter believes she'd be the best aunt in the world--even though she'd be their only aunt considering Vision doesn't have any siblings, and Eszter is Wanda's only sister. Not only that, but without Pietro, they wouldn't have anyone else on an extended family.

However, Wanda had chuckles a little uncomfortably at the idea but a little giddy at the thought. "Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves," she beams lightly.

"You get in with Dottie, and it'll be smooth sailing from here on out. Just mind your P's and Q's, and you're gonna do just fine."

"Or maybe I could just be myself? More or less?"

The silence was thick, and Eszter could feel it, but it was the look on Agnes' face that made the teenager feel bad for Wanda; her sister was going to be facing a 'top of the chain' woman who practically runs this town, and to act like a preppy wannabe, Eszter was glad she wouldn't have to sit through the meeting.

Even Agnes looked as if she could strangle herself to get out of having to go to this stupid meeting, maybe even envious of Eszter's young age, and being able to get out of attending. Suppose Eszter was lucky, but the witch remembered she was practically forced to hang out with the neighbor's kid. Now, Eszter doesn't know which is worse.

Suddenly, Agnes breaks her silence with such a burst of heavy laughter, and her head swings back as she catches her breath.

"Oh, Wanda, that's good," Agnes cackles again.

Wanda chuckles nervously, glancing back and meeting Eszter's eyes anxiously, but the teenager offers an encouraging smile. There wasn't anything Eszter could do to help Wanda besides be there for her sister, but once the opportunity comes, Eszter won't hesitate to make an escape from the group of women. Although Eszter isn't actually joining the meeting, she'll be close by under the watchful eye of Wanda's parental supervision; no matter how many times Eszter had to fight for her own self, claiming to be old enough to take care of herself, Wanda didn't budge.

For some reason, Wanda intended to take care of her sister while she visited for every chance she was given, and she wasn't going to mess up. Wanda missed Eszter dearly, and this felt like a second chance on getting to raise her little sister properly. Maybe it was the guilt of having this picture-perfect life, but Wanda wants to watch Eszter grow into the young woman she's become, and Wanda wants to be there for the rest of her life.

If Wanda had the choice, she and Vision could adopt Eszter to be under their care, making her their kid sister--and sister-in-law.

A door creaked open across from the three women, catching each of their attention as they were ripped from their thoughts. Wanda was beginning to panic a little, feeling overwhelmed and pressured to be this picture-perfect wife, but Wanda was afraid to ruin everything.

"Everybody, hurry up, please," called the blonde woman, known as Dottie. She was leading a line of women out the door and down the path of her driveway.

Hearing the woman, Agnes spun around on her toes. "Hiya, Dottie! Your roses are divine," she started a wave, which Wanda and Eszter copied.

Dottie smiles appropriately. "Well, thank you."

All three women follow Dottie and the other women toward the town's public pool with a nervous sigh.
