Mina's POV
I woke up with a light feeling. I feel like I'm alright. Everything seems so fine.
Mama Sachiko, Papa Akira and Baby were now talking near the door and they seem so happy having their conversation. I was just sitting on my bed, looking at them. I haven't had this feeling for some time now because of all the bad things that keeps happening.
I just got back to bed and pretended to be asleep to eavesdrop cause they didn't seem to notice me.
"Are you really sure that Mina is now pregnant?!" Mama Sachiko said with a delighted face.
"What?! I'm pregnant?!" I mentally screamed in my head.
"But how?" I wondered as I continued to listen to them.
"Yes ma'am, I'm sorry, it's all my fault... I messed up the samples cause I wasn't myself when I did that..." I can clearly see Baby bowing her head towards my parents.
Mama Sachiko then hugged Baby, saying that it's okay and what's important now is that things are finally in the right place.
Papa Akira then also hugged Mama Sachiko and all of them are crying right now.
I caressed my tummy and smiled. I want to celebrate with them too.
So, I got up and went to them.
But, strange things are happening...
They didn't notice me...
I was literally in front of them but they didn't seem to see me.
I called them but no one faced me.
"Is this a prank??" I thought then hold Mama Sachiko's shoulder.
"Mom, please stop this. It isn't funny! I heard everything and I want to celebrate it with you..." I uttered but as I lay my hands on Mama Sachiko's shoulder, my hands can't land on it.
What's happening?
My smile faded away as I thought of something horrible...
No...
"We should wake My baby up, I know she'll be happy!" Mama Sachiko said while smiling ear to ear. She was going to my bed.
As I look back, I saw my body.

No...
Mama Sachiko began to shake my shoulder.
"My baby, wake up... We have something to tell you..."
But no response.
"I should quickly go back to my body... Please not now... Not yet..." I thought as I went back to my body.
But my spirit doesn't want to go back.
Am I really dead...?
I was in the verge of crying when Mama Sachiko suddenly shout something I wasn't prepared for.
"Honey!!! Mina...!!" She shouted as she began to shake me with more strength.
"She isn't waking up!!" She added then Papa Akira went to me.
He examined my body.
Then, a tears escaped from his eyes.
"What's happening Akira-sensei?" Baby asked, while holding herself not to cry.
Papa Akira can't face both of them, so he looked down.
"She's... She's gone..." He uttered then all of them burst into tears.
What?
I finally got pregnant and why this...?
Why did this happened?
What about Chaeyoung?
I don't care about myself...
"WHAT ABOUT CHAEYOUNG?!!" I shouted but as I expected, no one heard me.
I broke down.
I can't take this anymore.
Chaeyoung...
The room was now filled with the sound of everyone sobbing.
I laid on the floor.
I'm sorry Chaeyoung...
I'm really sorry...
My eyes are now full of tears but I don't care about that. My heart is literally breaking right now even though I'm already dead.
Yes...
I'm dead...
Then, I saw a glimpse of shadows. I know where this is from.
I looked up and saw...
Chaeyoung...
I cried more harder after seeing her. I immediately went to her and hugged her tightly and kept apologizing.
"What's happening here...?" She uttered.
Ahhh, I bet she's really confused as hell right now. How I wish that she could see me and bid my goodbyes for the last time.
If only I knew this would happen...
"Ch-chaeyoung... Mina..." Baby uttered as both of my parents doesn't have the strength to talk anymore.
Chaeyoung then went to my body.
"What? She's right here... Why are you all crying?"
"She's, gone, Chaeyoung..."
"Are you joking?" She said as she placed my body on her lap and tapped my cheeks lightly.
"My love, wake up now... They are all talking some nonsense things..." She mumbled as she looked into my cold body.
"Minari..." She added.
"Wake up..."
"I'm sorry..." I replied.
Chaeyoung seemed to understand that it isn't a joke anymore. She hugged me as tight as she could.
"Why Mina...? Why...?"
"I thought you wouldn't leave me alone...?"
"Why is she like this now, Papa Akira? Don't lie to me please..."
"I already knew that something is wrong but I was too late..."
"She has leukemia Chaeyoung..." Papa Akira gathered himself up cause he knew he needed to explain everything to Chaeyoung.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Chaeyoung caressed my face.
"My love, why...? Why do you kept enduring things by yourself...? I always told you, didn't I?"
"That you should share everything to me..."
"I gave you some time but why...?"
"Why!!!"
She cried her eyes out.
I was just here, regretting what I have done.
"I should've told her... Things wouldn't be like this if I did..."
"Tell me more about it, Papa Akira." She uttered again.
"She doesn't want to tell you because she doesn't want you to be worried..."
"She must've been thinking that she won't survive leukemia and she said she's gonna tell you everything when she got pregnant..."
"Why does she want to be one when I can take care of her?"
"Because, she's been thinking all about your future without her... I know my daughter well..."
"She doesn't want to leave you all alone in this world so she wants to leave something for you..."
"And that is both of your baby."
"I already told her that it's a risky procedure and it might trigger her leukemia but she said she doesn't mind it if it's for you..."
"For me...? You're so selfless Minari..."
"Now look what I have now... I have nothing..." Chaeyoung added.
"We just found out that she's pregnant but when we tried to woke her up earlier, this is what we saw..." Mama Sachiko added.
Chaeyoung was silent.
"You shouldn't have added that..." Papa Akira whispered to Mama.
The room was filled with silence.
After a few minutes, Chaeyoung got up and went outside the room but Mama Sachiko stopped her.
"Where are you going, Chaeyoung?" She asked.
"I have something to do... I want to be alone for a while..."
I have a bad feeling about this, I hope it isn't what I think it is.
"Okay, we'll handle the funeral. You can take your time but promise me, you won't do anything to harm yourself, okay?" Mama Sachiko said with a worried face. We're both thinking the same thing right now.
"Yes Mama." Chaeyoung smiled then went out.
I followed her.
"Funeral..." She uttered as she went upstairs using the elevator and she pressed the highest floor.
I just followed her around cause I think she won't be doing anything bad to herself cause she promised Mama Sachiko.
Then, we arrived.
I was just with her, calling her name and touching her cause I hope that she can atleast know that I'm here for her like I said.
She then sat at the edge of the roof top and looked up the sky.
"Are you here, My love...?" She uttered.
"Yes I am..." I replied even though I knew, she won't hear me.
"If you are, I want to say that you're really selfish." She added.
I hugged her. I hope she can feel my warmth...
"I don't want any baby. I just want you."
"I don't care if we can't have a family like we planned, I just want you to be here and be with me."
"You existing, in this world is enough for me... I can do everything just for you to be here..."
"But now, it's impossible..."
"I know Chaeyoung and I'm really sorry..."
"You even left with our baby." She laughed with sadness in her eyes.
"Both of you are selfish. You should've brought me with you..."
"But you didn't."
"We're both alone now..."
"You must've been so scared with your illness right? But I know you're more scared of being alone..."
"Me? Scared of being alone? No, Chaeng... I don't care about myself..."
"If you're here, I know you would say that you aren't, right?"
"No..." I replied.
She then sighed.
"You don't have to put that brave act anymore, Mina. I know you... You're always waiting for me to come home cause you don't want to be alone."
"You also got jealous cause you don't want me to leave you alone."
"I know all of that..."
"And yet, because of you, thinking that it's for my good, we both ended up being alone." She sobbed.
I didn't know it myself. I think what she's saying is right...
I am, afraid of being alone.
This is all my fault.
Chaeyoung seems to understand what I'm feeling right now cause she said something that made me cry.
"It's not your fault, you were just doing what you think is good for both of us, so don't blame yourself."
"What I'm about to do right now isn't harming myself."
"It's gonna make us happy and united. Mama Sachiko will understand that." She smiled.
I think I know what's gonna happen but please don't...
She stand up.
"Woooah! The view looks so good!" She exclaimed.
I'm scared... My biggest nightmare is happening...
"Can you see it My love?"
"It's so beautiful, like you... And I think that this is the perfect view to die." She giggles as she closed her eyes.
No, Chaeyoung...
Please no...
"Don't worry My love, you won't be alone anymore." She uttered as she let herself fall from the building.
