Kie grabs the flask from JJ's hands and closes it as he sleeps.
"Goodnight everyone" Pope says as he lays down ready to sleep. Kie bends over and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Good night" she says. JJ looks at them wishing he had someone there with him. He puts his hat down and turns over looking away from them dreaming about one special girl.

"All right, this is the Gulf Stream. It's gonna take us north right home." John b said to Sarah as Logan was sleeping at the back.
"Home" Sarah said as John b came to sit down with her "hi." She said
"Hi. How are you doing." He asked
"Never better." She said "You know what I was thinking?"
"What's that?" He asked
"Let's get married" she said
"Dont... don't we need like a... a... like, a preacher or something?" John b said and she just shrugs
"What about the rings?" John b asked
"What about rings?" Sarah said "I mean for future reference, I like princess cut. I like emerald but."
"I got an idea" he said as he took off his bandana.
"Never pear shape." Sarah said. John b ripped his bandana. "Princess cut. My favourite" she gasps.
"I give you this sweaty... piece of my father's bandana as a token of my love." John b said as he put it around her neck.
"It's perfect" she said
"Yeah" he said
"By the power vested in me, by the sky and the stars and the sea, I now pronounce us husband and wife." Sarah said
"Through sickness and in health, through rich and poor, till death do us part." John b said
"You may kiss your bride" she said and they kiss. "Can we get a dog?" She asked
"Okay Sarah. Let's just get home first. How about that?" He said
"Let's get a dog." She said
"We have Logan. That's good enough" John b said. "And JJ. There you have two dogs"
"Fair enough" she said
"You know I always thought they would get married first." John b said to her.
"Who. JJ and Logan?" She asked
"Yeah. They were so in love but they were just too blind to see it." He said looking over at Logan's sleeping figure
"Do you think the pogues will be mad at her?" Sarah asked
"At first maybe. But once they hear her explanation I think they will be okay." He said "I still can't believe she was hiding everything about her parents from us"he looked down.
"Hey she's fine. She got away. Even though it probably wasn't the best decision she got away from them and that's all that matters." She said "Now I want to hear more about her"
"Okay um let's see. You know she was actually closest to Pope?" He said
"What?" She asked
"Yeah. The good boy and the bad girl. Best friends till the end. I have no doubt that he will cry when he sees her" John b said laughing
"Wow that's not what I was expecting. I thought maybe she was closest to JJ" she said
"We'll she had a different bond with all of us. With me it was like brother and sister. For her and Kie they were the only girls so they had the girl stuff to talk about. Pope it was the best friend bond. And JJ was completely different. It was like when the other walked into the room it automatically lit up the others face. It was love." John b said to her.
"Wow you guys must have been crushed when she left." She said
"Yeah we were. It was like a part of us was missing and there was no going back. But now that she's here it's all hopefully going to be better again" he said as he got up to steer the boat again.
"Land!" Sarah yells to Logan and John b. It's now morning and they all got a good nights sleep.
"Looks like a pretty big town." John b said
"Should we try to find somewhere less crowded?" Sarah asked
"Well we're almost out of fuel. So we don't have a choice" Logan said looking over John b's shoulder.
"We made it" John b said. "Look it's Charleston!"
"Oh my god I'm finally out of the Bahamas" Logan said as she did a little dance.
"I wonder where John b and Sarah are right now." JJ said as they drove across a bridge. Little do they know the boat with their friends were right below them with the person they all haven't seen for 2 years.
"Okay, ready?" John b asks Sarah as she jumps from the boat. "Okay listen, we're gonna get some gas, find a phone, and get out of here all right?" John b said to them.
"Hey guys I'm gonna stay here." Logan said to them.
"What? Hey, no. You're coming with us" John b said
"Well first of all I will just slow you guys down, and second someone has to stay and watch the boat." She said "don't worry I will be super careful and if anybody comes I will kick them where the sun won't shine"
"Okay, just don't attract attention to yourself" John b said
"Come on when have I every done that" she asks. They both look at the blood on her jean shorts "okay fine, fine. You be safe. I'll be safe. We're all good"
"Okay bye May!" Sarah said walking away
"Don't call me May!" She yells at them.
"How are we gonna pay for the gas?" Sarah asks John b.
"Don't worry about it. We'll figure it out." He said

"Yeah, they're a bunch of fancy people. They've had like three governors in the family. They've run Charleston for like, 300 years." Kie said as they pulled up to the estate.
"These Kooks make our Kooks look like Pogues. You sure this is the place Pope?" JJ said.
"Pretty sure" pope said all looking at the mansion.
"All right. Fat City for sure" JJ said as they all got out of the truck.
"Twenty-seven King Street." Pope said
"Talk about home security. Are those spikes to keep people out?" JJ asked
"No." Kie said
"The slave quarters are over there. These spikes were to keep people in." Pope said.

"That looks so good. I'm starving." John b said. We gotta get some food. Follow my lead"
"Okay." She said. John b walks by a server and pushes him causing him to spill water all over the customers.
"You idiot" the man said standing up
"I'm so sorry" the server said
"Oh my god. Your shoes!" Sarah's gasps
"This is a $1,700 jacket!" The man said
"I'm so sorry" Sarah said
"100% on me. Im sorry. I bumped into him." John b said to him.
"Is there anything I can do" Sarah asks the girl as she steals the wallet off of the table.
"So you're saying you're gonna pay for it?" The man asks John b
"I don't have any money. Im broke." He said
"Of course you don't" the man said looking John b up and down. "Pathetic"
"I'm sorry" John b said as they walk away.
"No need for name-calling sir" Sarah said
"Did you get it?" John b asks her.
"What are you talking about? You mean this" she says as she pulls the wallet out of her pocket.
"Oh my god" he said
"I'll sugar mama you" she said laughing
"I was hoping you would say that. Logan would be so proud of you right now" he said as they kept walking away.

"You think that was too much?" Pope asks them as he knocks on the door.
"It echoed the entire house. That's for sure. So they definitely heard it." JJ said
"Maybe nobody's home" Kie asked. Pope went to knock again but someone opened the door. He looks at them and points at pope.
"You must be Pope." He said
"Um. Are you Mr. Limbrey?" He asks
"Ms. Limbrey was expecting you yesterday." He said.
"Oh. I'm... I'm sorry. My car broke down on the way up here." Pope said
"Carburetor blew up in the middle of nowheresville. Sorry about that." JJ said
"Yeah, she was, uh, real upset when you didn't show up" he said
"We tried to call, but there's no number on the invitation." Kie said "We got here as fast as we could."
"She also expected you to come alone." He said
"I mean, these are my friends. They helped find the royal merchant too. I—" pope said
"Yeah the instructions were explicit. Your friends can stay outside." He said
"We're kind of a package deal man." JJ said
"JJ. It's okay. I got this." Pope said "I'll be good"
"Yeah. We'll be right here." Kie said
"Keep the car running" Pope said as they hold hands. Pope walks inside with the man.
"Just wait in here. Ms. Limbrey will be right with you" he said as he walks away. Pope looks around the room at all the paintings and books.
"Mr. Heyward" she chuckles "I'm Carla Limbrey"
"Uh. Pope. People call me Pope" he said
"Have a seat." She said
"Thank you so much for everything. This really means a lot to me." Pope said
"Can I offer you something?" She said
"I'm okay. Thank you" he said
"We'll, you look thirsty." She said pouring him some tea. "I think a toast is in order. To finding the unfindable. Against all odds you and your friends managed to beat everyone to find the Royal Merchant, including me, and Lord knows I tried. I also know that since you've lost the gold to Ward Cameron." She said to him
"How do you know that?" He asked
"Ward Cameron and I have a long and tortured history. I funded his first development project." She said
"But he wouldn't tell you—" he said
"He didn't need to. Ward and I were partners in the search for the Royal Merchant, and I'm afraid that Big John Routledge was not the only one that Ward double-crossed." She said
"Okay. What else do you know?" He asked
"I know that Rafe Cameron killed Sheriff Peterkin. I have proof of it." She said
"So you can clear John B's name?" He asked
"Easily, at any time" she said and she pulled out a tape recorder of Gavin confessing everything. "I know exactly what happened on that tarmac. And I am also aware that another one of your friends have died a while back and I just want to give my condolences. I knew her actually she stole some stuff from me. Other than that she was a nice kid. I know how hard it is to loose a friend" she said
"Thank you" Pope said as he looked at her weirdly "So you have the evidence, and you know he's innocent. Why don't you just go clear his name? It's the right thing to do."
"My friend, the Limbreys did not maintain their position in the Lowcountry for these past 300 years by giving away something of value for free. Yes, I can exonerate your friend, but first there is something that I want. It's a little thing, really. I think you know what it is. I want the key." She explained to him
"A key?" He said "like truck keys? I have house keys. I'm... I'm sorry. I don't know— a key?"
"I'm afraid our relationship won't be very productive if we aren't honest with each other. Denmark's key." She said
"As in Denmark Tanny?" He asked
"Yes." She said
"Ms. Limbrey, I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. But for my friend, I'll... I'll go find it. I'll... I'll do what I need to do. I'll go find one if you need it. But I don't know what you're talking about, and I don't have it on me." He said as she got up.
"Come on" she said. She gives him a picture of the key "Do you recognize this? Ring any bells?" She asks
"No. I'm sorry it doesn't." He said as he gives the photo back to her
"Hmm. You can keep that." She chuckles then walks away "Come with me. I'd like to show you something. I think... I think you'll find it interesting." She says
"Look if Limbrey is legit, then Ward gets arrested and maybe Sarah gets the gold. Does that look voluntary?" Kie says to JJ
"That would be a negative." He said
"Come on" she says and tries to get out of the car.
"Wait hold on, hold on" he stopped her
"What?" She asked
"They're going into the alley." He said
"Go around back?" She asked
"Yeah. We'll meet them on the other side" he said as he starts the truck.
"Okay" she said looking at them. "Hey be chill. Be chill.
"Yeah sure" he said
"All of this, all the way down to the Ashley River, was owned by my family. The Limbreys have lived in the house since it was built 280 years ago. That's where the slaves were kept. Thank goodness we've made progress since then." Limbrey said as they walk down the alley.
"Yeah, thank goodness" Pope said
"Look, where did they go?" Kie asked as they were driving.
"What if they went underground? Because in C.H.U.D., when they took people down into the sewers, it would turn the humans into humanoids cause of the radiation. And then all of a sudden—" JJ started
"JJ, JJ, focus. That doesn't make any sense" Kie said to him
"Right. Sorry. Did you see him?" He asked
"No." She said

"All right. How many hot dogs do you want?" John b asked
"Okay, like 50" Sarah said
"Fifty hot dogs?" He said
"A hundred. I don't care. And don't forget about Logan too" she said as he walked into the store. She started filling up the gas tanks when she sees the people they stole from walking down the street. "Shit" she said hiding.
"They ran out of the real deal. They're vegan." John b said walking out of the store with hot dog in his mouth. Sarah starts shushing him as he looks where she's pointing.
"He's right there! He's literally right—" she said
"Hey! You! Come here! Thieves! You stole my money! Come here" the man starts yelling and running after them.

"Here lies Denmark Tanny, the famous ex-slave. You know the story." Limbrey said as they got to the grave.
"What... what story?" Pope asked
"Denmark Tanny was a freedman, a wealthy planter. He was able to buy the freedom of his three sons, but when he tried to buy his wife and daughters freedom, my paternal ancestors refused. When his wife Cecilia tried to run with the baby, they set the hounds on her. Cecilia drowned trying to escape, the baby survived, and Denmark was hung... allegedly for abetting a slave revolt but really for gathering the remains of his wife." She said as she looked at Pope. "Never heard this story?" She asked him
"No. And I think once is enough." He said as he tries to walk away.
"Hey! You think that I'm stupid?" She asks him
"No. No, no, I don't" he said
"Why else would the Routledge boy involve you? Your family has the key." She said to him
"The key. I don't know what you're talking about." He said
"Hey. Did Ward get to you?" She asked
"No. Ward Cameron? Are you crazy?" He asked
"The key leads to the cross, the Cross of Santo Domingo. 'The real treasure lies at the foot of the angel.' Those we're Denmark's last words. Does that ring any bells?" She asks him
"No, it doesn't ring any bells and, um... Uh thank you, but I'm... I'm gonna go back to the 21st century now." Pope said and walked away.
"We'll trade with his father. His son for the key. Go." Limbrey said to the man.
"Crazy people" Pope mutters and starts running through the alley. "Okay. All right" he gets to the end and the gate is locked so he starts running back when he sees the man. "What you got?" He asked and the man pulls out a taser. They start fighting. Pope falls to the ground
"What you got?" The man says and gets on top of him about to taser him when Pope kicks him in the crotch. JJ and Kie get to them. JJ kicks the taser to Kie.
"Come on!" She yells
"Pope! Pope come on!" JJ said and Pope punched the guy "Go! Just leave him! Leave him!" They hop the wall and run to the truck. "Go! Go, go, go. Scoot over."
"Ow! Who were those people?" Kie asks
"We're getting out of here" JJ said
"That was crazy as shit! Let's get out of here now" Pope said as JJ starts driving away.
"Here we go now!" JJ yelled
"I think he's following us" Kie yelled as she sees the man driving behind them.
"This is a one-way" "go left, go left" they told JJ
"I know" he said
"This is a one-way!" They yelled
"They're following us." Kie yelled
"Hey! There's another car! Turn now!" Pope yelled as JJ swerved "Jesus look out!" He yelled
"Oh my god!" Kie yelled as John b and Sarah ran across the road.
"Get out of the road!" JJ yelled at them
"Those were people! Jesus Christ!" Pope yelled
"That was evasive driving technique right there, y'all." JJ said
"Maniac" Sarah said as they got up and looked at the truck. "Wait is that..."
"Heyward?" John b asked
"Heywards truck" she said
"Hey, come here!" The man yelled at them "hey come back!"
"Okay. Come on" John b said running after the truck.
"Where are we going?" Pope asked
"Hang on. I'm gonna loose him" JJ said as he swerved. The car started smoking. "You said he fixed the carburetor. You said he fixed it!"
"Shit! Dammit" Kie said as they got out of the car. "Okay, what now, Mario?" She asks
"Number one rule. Never trust mechanics!" JJ said as they grab their bags. "We gotta go around!" He said
"Come on!" Pope said
"Go, go, go, go" JJ said as they start running.
"Guys I think he has a gun!" Kie yelled
"Shit. Get down!" JJ yelled "get to the alleyway. Come on!"
"Hey! JJ! Pope! Kie!" John b yelled
"Guys!" Sarah yelled "Shit"
"Come on. We gotta go find them." John b said "Logan's gonna be so happy" as they jumped into a bike cart. "How do you work this thing?"
"Go!" She yelled
"This way! We might have to split up." JJ said as they were running "I don't know where to go okay?! We gotta loose him!" JJ ran into a mailman and they all yell sorry.
"Go!" Pope yelled as they ran down another alley.
"Guys he's right there. Go, go, go" JJ said as they ran
"Pope, Kie, JJ" Sarah yelled.
"He's gaining let's go!" Pope yelled.
"I am going Pope. I know, I know. You guys gotta keep up." JJ said as they ran around a corner and stopped as they see John b and Sarah on a bike. They all look at each other in shock and happiness.
"Get in! Get in! Get in! Come on!" John b yelled to them as they all got in.
"Push, push, push!" JJ yelled
"Pedal faster John b!" Sarah yelled
"Come on Pope!" They yelled as he fell he grabbed Kies hand and got into the cart. They all start cheering.
"See you later alligator" JJ yelled.
"See you later asshole! Oh my God!" Pope yelled.
They all get back to the beach as John b said. "Guys I have a surprise for you" he smiled at them.
"Is it a hot girl" JJ said laughing. Sarah and John b look at each other before yelling.
"Hey May!!!" They yelled. Kie, Pope and JJ just look at them dumbfounded that JJ might be right.
"Ugh how many times do I have to say don't fucking call me that. And what took you guys so long anyways" Logan said as she got up and looked at them. They all look at her in shock that their best friend is alive.
"Oh my god. Yes! I don't have to third wheel anymore!" She said.
