Ryujin's POV:
"Wait for me, Ryujin-ah"
Jaemin followed me until I reached the ground floor. I tried to call a cab but everyone was occupied since it's rush hour
"Can you drive for me?" I asked to Jaemin which made him stop
"O-Of course, I can but can you tell me what's going on? Why did you said that you're going to make Mr. Hwang rot in hell?" he confusedly asked
I thought he heard everything but I guess I'm wrong. I think it's much better for him not to know what I am up to. I don't know what am I going to do the moment Mr. Hwang and I met but one thing is for sure, I am going to do something that might lead me to something worst
I heard from Sunghoon that Arin's parents is going to file a case against me that's why they're in District 9. Probably because of what I did to her last time. But I don't care anymore. I don't think there's still something I have to fear about
"Hey" Jaemin whisphered and held my hand
But there's someone who will get hurt once I disappeared
I hugged Jaemin so tight while tears are slowly coming out from my eyes. I hugged him like it was the last time that we're going to hug each other
While I am in his arms, I started questioning myself. Do I really have to ruin my future because of this? I knew that the moment I stepped there, I will do something bad
I don't want to ruin myself because of this but I have no choice. They managed to escape the consequences easily because of their influence and money. Mr. Hwang is a lawyer and I don't think I can win against him so I have no choice but to get the justice for my mother on my own
"Why are you crying?" Jaemin worriedly asked the moment I broke our hug but I just remained silent and flashed a smile
"I'm just tired. I want to be alone"
I don't want him to see the monster inside me. I don't want him to witness everything
"You're lying"
I shook my head as an answer before turning my back against him
"I want to breathe some fresh air" I said before walking away. I didn't bothered to look back because I don't think I can handle it
I decided to just took a bus. It didn't took me that long to reach District 9. While I was walking near the main hall, I noticed that everyone was gossiping about me. The video that I watched keeps on flashing on my mind
"Ryujin-ah, there are police inside. You should've go with Jaemin or Mrs. Lee. They're planning to kick you out of District 9---"
I just ignored Younghoon and went straight inside the music hall. All of them went silent when they noticed my presence. All the Elites except the Lee's, Jaemin, Yeji and Hyunjin are here
"There she is, she's really a pain in the ass" Mr. Na said while drinking his tea
I calmly approached Mr. Hwang and slammed the picture of my mom infront of him on the table
"Do you know her?" I asked
He looked at me confusedly before looking at the picture. I saw how he got flustered when he saw my mom's picture. He cleared his throat and laughed
So he knows
"Of course, she's my donor right? Your mom" he casually answered
I didn't hesitated. I immediately grabbed his collar and punched his face. I'm not contented with that. I threw him on the wall and was about to approach him again when the police immediately stopped me. I have no choice but to take them down one by one
"She's..."
I stepped on Mr. Hwang's stomach which made him scream in pain
"The woman..."
I stepped on his hand
"That you killed..."
I kneeled down and grabbed his collar again
"In that car accident"
I punched his face with all strength which made him lost his conscious
The tears started to fall from my eyes when I remembered the day when my mom passed away. She even asked me to forgive them but how am I going to do that? I don't think they deserve my forgiveness
"Oh my god, honey" Mrs. Hwang started to cry when she saw Mr. Hwang's state
"Raise your hand or we're going to shoot you"
I stood up and just ignored the police that are pointing their gun at me. I can die anytime but I can't feel any fear. I can't feel anything but anger
I approached Mr. Kim who's obviously scared of me because of what I did. I didn't expect that this day is going to come where I am going to see the same eyes staring at me with full of fear
"R-Ryujin-ah!" Younghoon tried to stop me but I just ignored him
I stopped infront of Mr. And Mrs. Kim and slowly kneeled down. They're all shocked because of what I did especially Mr. Kim
"I'm ready for the consequences after this but I need Mr. Hwang and Mr. Na to go in jail with me" I seriously said which made him stop
"What do you mean?" he confusedly asked
"Why do I have to go with you? I'm not a criminal like you" Mr. Na angrily said
I gave Mr. Kim the USB instead of answering him. He was hesitant about the USB. He was about to put it on his pocket when Mrs. Kim stopped him and grabbed the USB from his hand. She gave it to her secretary for us to see what's inside it
They had the same reaction as me at first because of the long nonsense video at the beginning not until when they heard Mr. Hwang's voice. They all covered their mouth in disbelief when they heard their conversation. I looked at Mr. Na's direction and he's shocked too. It looks like he has no idea about this video
"Oh my god!"
Everyone screamed when the dash cam showed the accident that happened. The video ended after that. Everyone started gossiping because of what they've just witnessed
"What's the meaning of this, Mr. Na?" Mrs. Kim asked in disbelief
Mr. Na smiled and wiped his mouth using the tissue. He calmly sat on his chair and looked at me
"I never thought you would go this far" he said
He later on looked at Mr. Kim and raised his brows at him like he's saying something to Mr. Kim through that. I saw how Mr. Kim nodded a little before calling his secretary and whisper something to her. The secretary approached the police and asked something. The police and the secretary later on stood infront
"Young lady, this video right here is not enough evidence. Base on the video flashing on the screen right now, I think it's edited. I advice you to provide the original copy of this dashcam. Do you have it?" the police said which made Mr. Na smile
The dashcam was really edited because it was enhanced for it to look more clear. They all looked at me, waiting for the answer but I don't know if it's right for me to say that Yeji and Hyunjin are the ones who gave me that footage. I'm sure they're hurt too when they found out about this video. Their parents might do something bad to them if they found out about it. It's not like I can protect them after this because I'm sure they will do whatever it takes to bring me to jail
"Your silence means you don't have it, am I right?" Mr. Na asked while laughing. I clenched my fist because of how confident he is. I looked at Mr. Kim and saw how he took the USB and destroyed it
"What do you think you're doing!?" I shouted and tried to stop him when the police started handcuffing me
"I'm already tired of you. Just go in a jail and settle your personal problem alone because I am not going to help you" he seriously said
I was taken aback because of what he said. Even Mrs. Kim was shocked because of what her husband said but she decided to just remain silent
I'm so dumb to assume that Mr. Kim will stick to his principles. I'm so stupid to assume that he's going to help me. Why did I even trusted him in the first place? It's not like we're close in the first place. How come that I forgot? He's also a jerk like his friends

He was about to turn his back against me when I spoke
"I forgot, Mr. Kim. You deserve to be in jail too" I said and laughed but what I said didn't bothered him not until when I mentioned Winter's name
He slowly looked at me with his brows furrowed. He looks so mad now. He approached me and lowered down himself to be on the same level as me
"Don't make me lose my patience to you" he said with his mad eyes
So Ji Eun got her bad side from him?

"Why? Are you scared?" I asked "That they might find out about how you rigged the results of the finals last year and how you remained silent about what Mrs. Haze did to Winter for her to kill herself?"
He grabbed my collar out of anger which made me smile. Hurt me, show us this other side of yours just like your beloved daughter
"What do you think you're doing to my girlfriend!?"
My smile slowly faded when someone pushed Mr. Kim away from me. All my anger vanished when I saw Jaemin standing infront of me. He looked at me worriedly when he saw my situation
Kneeling on the floor with handcuffs
Why are you here, Jaemin-ah?
"What did you just say? Your girlfriend?" Mrs. Kim asked in disbelief and looked at me with full of confusement from her eyes
"What do you think you're doing? Let her go!" Jaemin angrily shouted to the police who's holding me
"Jaemin, explain this. Why did you say that she's your girlfriend?" Mrs. Kim asked and held Jaemin's hand "Where's your engagement ring? Why are you not wearing it? This is not your engagement ring, right?"
My brows furrowed because of what I heard. Mrs. Kim looked at my hand where I am wearing our couple ring and compared to what Jaemin is wearing

"What's with that reaction? Don't tell me you didn't know that Jaemin is now engaged with my daughter?" Mr. Kim said while laughing sarcastically
My lips parted because of what I heard. I looked at Jaemin confusedly, looking for answer but he refused to look at me
"She's really a flirt. I guess what happened between Lia, Sunwoo and her are all true" the other residents of District 9 started gossiping but I'm too shocked to give them attention
"Jaemin! What is this!?" Mrs. Kim asked once again. Desperately seeking for answer
"Let her go" Jaemin seriously said while staring directly at Mrs. Kim's eyes. Mrs. Kim looked at me confusedly and later on commanded the police to let me go but they refused to remove the handcuffs. Jaemin immediately approached me to check on me but I refused
"What are they saying? Is it true that you're engaged with Ji Eun?" I asked but he refused to answer
"This is the last time that I am going to ask you. Is it true?" I seriously asked which made him stop. He looked at me with his drowsy eyes and later on looked down
"Y-Yes"
The tears started to fall from my eyes when I heard his answer. I looked at Ji Eun who's currently staring at me with her emotionless eyes and saw a ring on her left hand
"I'm sorry" Jaemin whispered and was about to wipe my tears when I avoided his hand
"Why? Why didn't you tell me about it?"
I felt betrayed
The tears started to fall from my eyes continuously when I saw the look on his eyes. There's full of sadness and pain in it
"What do you think you're doing, Jaemin-ah!?"
Mr. Na suddenly grabbed his collar and was about to slap him when Jaemin managed to stop him. He slowly twisted his dad's arm and pushed him
All of us didn't expect him to do that. Mr. Na looked at him in disbelief. Lia and Yuna immediately approached their dad to help him
"So this is what you learned from that troublemaker uh---"
"Enough, dad!" Jaemin shouted which echoed really loud. Everyone became silent because of his shout
"I'm already tired of your bullshit. Don't act like you don't know that Ryujin and I are dating. Don't act you're not the one who forced me to be engaged with Ji Eun. Don't act like you didn't threatened me for me to do that. Don't act like you're not using Ji Eun to get the Kim's assets and power. I'm already tired of how you always control my life! I'm already tired of you, dad!"
My heart broke when Jaemin started crying
So this is what he has been hiding from me. That he's engaged with Ji Eun now because his dad forced him and threatened him. But why didn't he told me about it? Haechan said it's for my own good but I can't understand. He should've told me, I could've helped him. I'm his girlfriend but why am I clueless about this important matter?
"Saying that won't change the fact that you're now engaged with Ji Eun" Mr. Na said while smirking which annoyed me even more

I can't continue what I was supposed to say when Mrs. Kim slapped me. My eyes widened because of what she did. I didn't saw that coming. I was about to glare at her when she slapped me once again and again
"M-Mrs. Kim!"
"Mom!"
Younghoon, Taehyung, Haruto and Jaemin tried to stop their mom but all of them were stopped by the police and some of the bodyguards
"You ungrateful brat" she said while her hands were trembling. I still afford to look at her even though I can still the pain of her slaps. She slapped me really hard for how many times but how come that I can't be mad at her?
I can actually sue her for slapping me but I don't think I can do that
"I used to think that you're a great person behind that rude attitude of yours and I'm grateful that you agreed to donate your mom's organs that's why I offered you to join our family and now, you made me think that I'm lucky that you didn't accept it"
For the first time, I saw Mrs. Kim getting emotional
"If only I knew that you will ruin our peaceful life here, I shouldn't have offered you to move here"
She turned her back against me but I saw how she wiped her tears

The moment she said that. A lot of police approached me and grabbed me but I refused to go with them and tried to escape from them but it's too difficult since they handcuffed me. Jaemin tried to escape from the police too but got punched by his father instead which made me mad even more
"I didn't ruin your peaceful life in this neighborhood, Mrs. Kim" I shouted "I just revealed the dark secrets of the people living here in District 9"
She slowly looked me with full of confusement from her eyes

I tried to resist the police who's trying to grab me to say all of it to Mrs. Kim
"Mr. Hwang killed my mom from a car accident and managed to escape all the consequences because of her power and money, he's also the one who covered up for Mr. Na's case..."
"Shut up!" Mrs. Hwang shouted and grabbed my hair
Everything started to get messed but I still continued because I know that Mrs. Kim was listening to me
"Winter's death, Mrs. Haze's footsteps was found on her house. She's the real winner of the finals last year and not Ji Eun. Mr. Kim knew about everything but he decided to keep his mouth because of her daug---"
I can't continue what I was supposed to say when I received another slap

That slap was really hard to the point that it made a loud noise that echoed inside the hall. I fell on the ground because of that slap. I also started to feel dizzy. All I can hear was Jaemin's desperate screams and cries
"How dare you manipulate my wife! Why do you have to ruin our lives--"
Mr. Kim grabbed my hair and was about to slap me again when someone stopped him
"Who gave you the right to slap my daughter, you rascal!"
The tears started to fall from my eyes continuously when I heard his familiar voice that I used to fear before but gave me hope this time

All my strength vanished. I started to cry like a kid just like what I always do when I was young when I'm hopeless. Then my dad is going to come to lend me a hand and comfort me. After that, I feel like I'm the strongest because I have him

I don't have an idea about who are they but one thing is for sure...

They have a lot of bodyguards with them. Some of them approached me and removed the handcuff
All of the residence of District 9 looks so confused. It looks like they don't know them. Even I, don't have an idea about who are they except Yoon Su and Jennie
All of us were shocked when Mr. Kim, Mrs. Kim and Mr. Na bowed to them. Everyone was confused but still followed what Mr. Kim did except me and my dad who refused to greet them

My jaw dropped because of what I heard. I looked at the people standing infront and noticed another familiar face besides Jennie and Yoon Su

I'm still sitting on the ground while touching my cheeks slowly. I frowned because of pain when I accidentally touched my lips and nose that is currently bleeding because of the slaps that I received earlier
I got flustered when I heard a loud slap. My eyes widened when I realized that the person who was slapped was Mr. Kim. What surprised me the most was the fact that Mr. Kim apologized and looked down instead of fighting back to the unfamiliar old woman who slapped her
My heart started to race when that old woman looked at me and started to approach me. I wiped the blood on my nose and lips while looking at her. I was prepared for another slap when she suddenly offered her hand to me
"E-Eh?"
She laughed because of my reaction which made me confused me even more
"You're really just like your mom" she said that made me stop
"Y-You know her?"
She slowly nodded and kneeled down to be on the same level as me. I got flustered when she suddenly hugged me and gently caress my hair
"You don't have to be alone anymore, my beloved grand daughter"
My brows furrowed because of what she said and was about to push her away from me when my dad smiled at me and nodded
"W-What are you saying?" I confusedly asked
"Yujin Moon, that's the name of my only daughter and she's your mom---"
"N-No, my mom isn't Yujin Moon. She's Shin Taehee---"
"Your mom's real name was Yujin Moon and not Shin Taehee" my dad said
I slowly stood up and looked at him in disbelief. I thought he will say that he's just joking but he just gave me the same look
I looked at Yoon Su, Jennie and Ahjumma who's now approaching me who has the same look as the old lady who approached me
"Y-Yoon Su, what is this? You're a member of Moon Family?" I confusedly asked and looked at Jennie and Ahjumma "You too?"
"We're a member of the Moon Family, Ryujin-ah" Yoon Su said and showed a familiar bracelet. It's the same bracelet that my mom gave me when I was young. The one who's similar from the store that I visited in France
"W-Wait, I can't understand. Are you joking?" I tried to laugh but ended up crying while looking at the faces of the Moon Family
All of them are unfamiliar to me and now they're saying that I'm one of them? What is this bullshit?
"S-Shin Ryujin, why do you have this picture?" Ji Eun suddenly asked behind me while holding the picture that I showed to Mr. Hwang earlier
It's a picture of me and my mom that is torn in half with a quote written behind.
I immediately grabbed it from her hand and hid it inside my pocket. I looked at Moon Family and shook my head
There's no way you are all my mom's family. My mom has no family except me and my dad
I was about to walk away when Ji Eun spoke

I froze up from my position when she said that. That's the quote written behind the picture. I slowly looked at her and saw her holding a picture torn in half too with a quote at the back saying the same thing as mine. I slowly stepped forward to her and tried to connect the two pictures together
The tears started to fall from my eyes when I realized that I finally found the other half of the picture. But I can't be happy especially now that I found out who my real father is
"N-No way" I whisphered
"Oh my god" Ji Eun covered her mouth and started crying
Everyone was shocked because of what's happening. Mr. Kim started getting emotional too. He looked at me in disbelief and slowly approached me while tears are slowly coming out from his eyes
"D-Don't come near me" I said
"M-My daughter, y-you're alive... I thought you---"
"I'm not your daughter" I shouted at his face but it didn't stopped him from approaching me. I want to step back but I can't move. I feel so weak
"You don't have the right to talk to her, after everything that you did?"
I want to thank Yoon Su for hiding me behind him
"P-Please listen to me, I can explain everything. I have no idea that---"
"Shut up! I don't want to hear your explanation. My real father was already dead" I wiped my tears and was about to walk away when I felt dizziness. I held my head and tried to step again but ended up losing my balance. Gladly, someone caught me
"J-Jaemin-ah, please get me out of here" I whispered when I felt liquid coming out from my nose. I touched it and realized that it's my blood
"D-Don't sleep, Ryujin-ah. I am going to take you to the hospital" Jaemin started panicking when he saw how much blood came out of my nose
"Jin! Check her" the old woman said
A guy who's a little younger than my mom approached me and checked my pulse and breathing. He later on firmly pinched the soft part of my nose above my mouth
"Breathe through your mouth" he commanded
I tried my best to do what he said but it's already too late. Everything suddenly went black and felt a hand on my face desperately waking me up
"Hey! Wake up!"

"You're not allowed to go there. A lot of things might happen tonight. Your doctor also said you're not allowed to go as of now" Juyeon placed an envelope infront of me so I looked at him confusedly
"What is this? I don't need this. I want to go there. They might do something bad to Ryujin---"
"You don't really like Ryujin, right? You just said it that night as an excuse---"
"No, I really like her, Hyung" I seriously said which made him stop. He looked at me in disbelief and waited for me to say that I'm just joking but I just remained silent while looking at him
"You can't like her---"
"I know, I'm not planning to steal her away from Jaemi---"
"She's our cousin"
My jaw dropped because of what I heard. He looked away because of my reaction and pointed the envelope that he gave me
I immediately opened the envelope and saw a family picture of unfamiliar people. Their family is big and all of them looks powerful and elegant. You can clearly tell that they're rich. I observed their faces one by one and recognized one person
Ahjumma?
"This is my dad" Juyeon pointed to the guy who's smiling brightly beside Ahjumma. He looks like a teenager in the picture
I just realized that Juyeon looks like him. They both have attractive nose and jaw line. Based on the picture, I think Juyeon has the same personality as his father. They're both jolly and funny
I never saw Juyeon's dad even in picture because my mom said that his family are too private and they're not allowed to take pictures except for family pictures and if the head of the family allows it
My mom never mentioned Juyeon's father infront of us. We don't even know his name. At first, I didn't understand why not until when I grew up and witnessed what happened to dad when our youngest sibling died. I realized that my mom was probably still hurt about Juyeon's father's death that's why she doesn't want to talk about him
"This lady right here is Ryujin's mom"
I sat properly and looked at Ryujin's mom. She's not looking at the camera and looks like she's not in the mood when this picture was taken. I can't stop myself from smiling when I realized that Ryujin looks the same when she's not in the mood. I can't stop myself from smiling because of that
"My dad and Ryujin's mom are cousins" Juyeon said
But my smile slowly faded when I realized the truth. Juyeon's dad was not my dad but he's still Juyeon's dad. We're not blood related but in the eyes of the other people

My jaw dropped because of what he said. That's when I realized that Ahjumma was Juyeon's grandmother. If he knew then why didn't he told me about it. I always tell him about Ahjumma before and he's just silently listening to me. I'm sure he's aware that his grandma was one of the caretaker of District 9 but why did he act like he didn't know?
"I'm aware that she moved here in District 9 and acted like the caretaker of it because she wants to see me and check on me but I can't appreciate it because she never visited my dad's funeral before, not even once. My dad's last words was 'mom' but she didn't came"
He looked at the picture and took a deep breath
"I heard she's so high and rich. I think she's too busy and don't have time to go to her son's funeral" he laughed sarcastically and torn the picture in half
"I hate everyone in the Moon Family"

"Except Ryujin and Ji Eun because we're all the same" he meaningfully said .
"W-Wait, what? Ryujin and Ji Eun?" I confusedly asked

I was left dumbfounded because of what I just heard. All my life, I thought Mrs. Kim was Ji Eun's mom because of how they resembles each other in some ways. I also thought that it's possible to meet someone who looks exactly like you even though it's very unusual to meet that person who almost has the same age as you
Ji Eun and Ryujin are twins but they're opposite of each other. Maybe because they grew up in different environment. Ji Eun grew up with her dad while Ryujin grew up with her mom. I wonder what Ryujin and Ji Eun will feel once they found out the truth. I'm sure they will be hurt especially on their situation right now where they're both loving the same guy
I pinched the bridge of my nose out and sighed heavily. For some reasons, I can't stop myself worrying about Ryujin. Life is so cruel to her
I realized that there's still pictures inside the envelope so I immediately took them out. I covered my mouth in disbelief when I saw a picture that I never thought ever existed
It's a picture of Mr. Na, Ryujin's mom, Juyeon's dad, Mr. Kim and my mom wearing the uniform of Dream High Academy
"They're all bestfriend's before and they all studied at Dream High Academy" Juyeon said and showed me another picture where Mr. Na, Mr. Kim, Juyeon's dad and my mom are standing on the stage. You can notice that they're not smiling, they even left a space in the middle which I think is for Ryujin's mom because she's not in the picture
"Where's Ryujin's mom?"
"She got pregnant that's why the head of Dream High Academy expelled her" Juyeon picked up a piece of the picture that he torned earlier "That head of Dream High Academy was also his dad, also known as the head of the Moon Family"
I don't know how to react when I started to realize that the legendary student of Dream High Academy before was also Ryujin's mom. She got pregnant and chose to gave up her dreams for her babies to live and they're Ji Eun and Ryujin now
For some reasons, I started to be emotional. I already mentioned this story to Ryujin before. She even expressed her respect for her without knowing that who I am talking about was her mom
"The Moon Family are now in District 9 to reveal everything to Ryujin and also to save her from Mr. Kim, Mr. Na and Mr. Hwang"

Why do they have to do this right now!? Beomgyu just died and she's still broke as hell! They should've considered situation first
I immediately stood up and grabbed my coat and car keys. I thought Juyeon is going to stop me but offered to drive for me instead. We're already in the lobby of the hospital when we saw Jaemin carrying Ryujin who's unconscious and full of blood on her face. Behind them was the Moon family who I immediately recognized and also my parents who's obviously worried
I immediately approached Ryujin who's now lying on the bed

The tears started to form on the corner of my eyes when I saw her situation. Her face looks so pale and full of blood. Her cheeks are so red and swollen, you can clearly tell that someone slapped her. Her wrists has bruises
It's only been an hour since she left... She looks okay earlier. How did she ended up this way?
"W-What happened to her?" I tried to remain calm while asking Jaemin who's crying. He just remained silent so I asked once again
"What happened to her!" I shouted to his face and grabbed his collar. Yoon Su immediately came to stop me but I just ignored him
"I-I'm sorry" he answered so I immediately punched him. Everyone was shocked because of what I did
"I shouldn't have let you have her. You don't deserve her" I seriously said and was about to left when he spoke
"That's why I'm always trying my best for me to be deserving of her love..." I looked at him and saw how he stood up while clenching his fist. He turned his back against me and wiped his tears "I will end him for her"
"N-No, Jaemin! Don't do anything" Ji Eun tried to stop her but he just kept going which made me confused
"You shouldn't have said that. You have no idea how hard Jaemin tried to protect Ryujin in every way that he can. You have no idea at all so don't act like you know everything" Ji Eun said while crying
I realized what I just did because of that. If there's someone who wants to protect Ryujin the most, it's Jaemin. How come that I never thought about that
"Who's the guardian of the patient?" the nurse asked. The Moon Family was confused whether who's going to introduce themselves as Ryujin's guardian
"Me, I'm her guardian" my mom said
"What happened to the patient?"
"She received a lot of slaps, that's all. After that, her nose suddenly started bleeding nonstop" my mom explained, trying to act calm
"Are you sure that it's just slap? Does she have history of hitting her head on hard objects or anything?"
"N-No---"
"Y-Yes" I answered
They all looked at me because of my answer
"She was hit with a baseball bat in the head 4 months ago"
The nurse took a deep breath because of what I said and was about to go inside when Ji Eun spoke
"She's going to be okay, right?" she asked while playing with her hands
She's worried
"We're not sure but we will do our best"
"Oh my god, please be okay" Ji Eun whispered while wiping her tears. She was about to walk away when an old woman held her wrist and stopped
I think she's one of the Moon Family
"Where are you going? Your sister needs you here" she gently said
"I know but my dad needs me too" Ji Eun said and confront her "I can't understand why you slapped my father but I just want you to know that you don't have the right to do that to him, Mrs. Moon" Ji Eun seriously said
"You can't see him. He's in jail now"

"You know better than anyone else what your dad did"
"N-No! He didn't do anything to Winter. He's innocent"
So it's about Winter, again. What the hell is going on with Winter's case. I haven't heard from Ryujin that much about the person who's avenging Winter's death except the fact that it's her sibling
"We'll see" Yoon Su seriously said before he left. I immediately followed him and found him talking to someone on phone. I waited for him to finish before approaching him
"So you're a Moon?" I asked which made him laugh
"I'm human" he joked but I didn't find it funny
"Can you tell me what happened?"
He looked at me for a moment before asking me to come with him. We go inside his car. I don't know where he's going to take me but I want to know everything
I got confused when he brought me to their mansion in District 9 which is the second to the biggest mansion here in District 9. The biggest one was owned by the Kim Family
The bodyguards greeted us before they let us in. I can't stop myself from admiring the unique layout and designs of their house. The shade of their house are red, white, black and gold which is kinda unusual
Yoon Su knocked on the big door that have phases symbol of the moon in the middle. Someone opened the door and there, I saw Heejin together with Hyunjin sitting while holding each other's hand. They're all shocked when they saw me but I'm more shocked because of what I witnessed

"Yes, they're love birds" Yoon Su said while removing his coat
"What is he doing here?" Hyunjin angrily asked
"They will find out about it later so don't be mad"
Yoon Su offered me to sit beside him so that's what I did. I can't take my eyes off them because I really didn't expect this. I never saw them talking and hanging with each other inside or outside the school
"Don't look at me like that" Hyunjin said so I immediately looked away. I looked at Heejin and noticed that she cutted her hair short

"As y'all know, Ryujin and Ji Eun are twins and they're both members of the Moon Family" Yoon Su started so I immediately turned my attention to him
"The family already knows that aunt Yujin successfully delivered her twins. They're all mad at her for doing a big mistake but they can't avoid the fact that they want to see and take care the twins so they're secretly visiting and checking on them..."
"Yujin was her name?" I asked
"Yeah, that's why she named her twins Ryujin and Ji Eun"

"The Moon family didn't kicked aunt Yujin out of the Family. She did it herself because she's so embarrassed of what happened"
Yes, it's kinda embarrassing to get pregnant at a young age but she doesn't have to leave her family. She just made the situation worst. Ryujin probably never experienced the bitterness of life if she just stayed with her family

"One day, the family heard that Mr. Kim took one of the twins so they immediately made a move but it's already too late. They found out that aunt Yujin got into a car accident and critical while the other twin died"

"Everyone believed that Aunt Yujin and the other baby died. Even Mr. Kim thought that they died that's why he kept on blaming himself for what happened. We just found out a year ago that they're alive when your mom saw them at Daegu"

"The Moon family already had an idea that Aunt Yujin was still alive and just hiding but they didn't expect that the baby was alive too and that they're living in Daegu. They thought she's hiding far away but they got fooled because Aunt Yujin was smarter than them"

"They didn't approached them immediately because they want to know everything about them that they missed. But sadly, Aunt Yujin got into a car accident and died"

Yoon Su smiled and looked at Hyunjin meaningfully. Hyunjin looked away because of that

"I can't tell you everything as of now but don't worry. You're going to hear the truth sooner when Ryujin wakes up" he stood up and was about to leave when I spoke
"Why do you have to this right now?" I angrily said "You know that Beomgyu just died and Ryujin was still in pain. Why does it have to be now? Are you planning to kill her with pain and sadness?"
Yoon Su slowly looked at me with his emotionless eyes
"Your mom brought Ryujin to your family voluntarily while we're solving the case of Aunt Yujin's death because she wants to take care of her and doesn't want her to be humiliated by other people from their town. We agreed because we thought that being in a powerful family like Lee can protect her from humiliation and cruelty of life but we're wrong..."
I was taken aback when I saw tears on the corner of his eyes
"Her life became more miserable when she moved to District 9 where a lot of people who's feeling entitled, high and holy lives"
The tears started to fall from his eyes
"She doesn't need a powerful family that is willing to adopt her because what she needs is her real family. And that's us... The Moon Family"
He gave me a smile before walking away
I can't stop myself from thinking about how complicated things are. No one wants Ryujin to suffer like this but I can't stop myself from blaming them and getting mad at them. I just hate it when she gets hurt by other people
"What the hell is he doing?" Heejin suddenly said while looking at her phone
"I can't believe that Ryujin is the only key for him to break free" Hyunjin said
"What is it?"
"Jaemin testified against his father and even posted footages of his dad abusing them"
My eyes widened when I heard that. I immediately took out my phone and watched the videos that Jaemin posted online using his own account
I covered my mouth in disbelief when I watched all the footages of his dad abusing them. There's a video of Mr. Na commanding Lia and Yuna to slap each other while Mrs. Na and Jaemin was watching behind him. A footage of him grabbing Mrs. Na's hair on the stairs. And lastly, Jaemin being hit by a thin stick at the back and making him lay on the floor that is full of salt after
The tears started to fall from my eyes when I realized that most of the videos was about Jaemin being abused by his father. What breaks my heart the most was the fact that he's been enduring this for so long to the point that I didn't even noticed it
He managed to keep this for how many years but he only had the courage to reveal all of this because of Ryujin. I don't know what Mr. Na did to Ryujin for him to do this but all I can say is that he's so brave
'I will end him for her'
And he really did, a lot of netizens are now bashing Mr. Na and turning their back against him. I don't think Mr. Na will still gain back his life after this

"They're here"
I immediately wiped my tears when the door opened and it shows Ryujin
What the hell is she doing here?
She's already wearing a comfortable outfit but she still looks so pale so I immediately stood up and was about to approach her when she raised her hand stop me
"Let's talk later" she said without showing any emotions. She walked infront and sat on the chair beside Heejin. She looked at Heejin meaningfully before leaning on the chair, and close her eyes and arms
Taehyung, Haruto, Younghoon, Ji Eun and Mrs. Kim later on entered the room. All of us didn't dare to make any noise but all of our attention are on Ryujin. I can't stop myself from getting worried because of how pale she is
I wonder how she managed to go here. I'm sure that the Moon Family will not allow her to go especially on her state. I have a hunch that she escaped
"N-Noona, are you okay?" Haruto asked in the middle of silence but he didn't received any response. Ryujin just remained on her position
She's not responding even to Haruto
"You're so stubborn. You're not even okay yet" Ji Eun said but just like earlier, she didn't received any response
"They just arrived at the entrance. Prepare yourselves" Jennie said who obviously just came. She immediately greeted Mrs. Kim and sat beside Ryujin. She asked Heejin and Hyunjin to move on our side because the other side of the table was for the Moon Family
I got flustered when Ryujin also stood up and sat beside me
"Hey, you're supposed to sit here" Jennie said but just like earlier. No response
I guess she doesn't want to consider herself as a member of the Moon Family
"Rise up for the Moon Family" the bodyguard shouted before opening the big door. Everyone stood up except Ryujin who's still on her position and didn't even bother to move
All the members of Moon Family immediately looked at Ryujin. Some of them are worried about her and some are disappointed by the way she acts
All the Elites also came. Only Elites except the Na Family. I guess what's going to happen tonight is going to be big
I was about to sit when Mr. Kim, Mr. Na and Mr. Hwang also entered the room wearing handcuffs. Mr. Na looks so lost. Mr. Hwang looks so embarrassed while Mr. Kim looks so worried about Ryujin and Ji Eun

I clenched my fist when I remembered what Mr. Na did to Jaemin and his family. If Ryujin wasn't beside me right now, I probably punched him. I don't care whether he's older than me or not. I can't see any reason to respect him anymore
"Ryujin, are you okay? How are you feeling?" Mr. Kim asked but didn't received any response. Her eyes were still closed but she's awake and listening
"So shameless" Yoon Su whispered
Four lawyers later on entered the room. Each of them sat beside Mr. Kim, Mr. Na, and Mr. Hwang. The other one stood behind the old lady
"Before we start let us introduce ourselves. I'm Eugene Moon but everyone calls me Eugene so you can just call me Eugene. Drop the formalities" she said which I didn't expected
Drop the formalities? I don't think anyone can do that. We're in South Korea
"I'm Jin Moon, youngest son of Eugene Moon and Junpyo Moon" the guy who's wearing an eyeglasses said "I have an older brother but he's busy with something so he can't be here tonight. I also have an older sister but she's now dead" he meaningfully said and looked at Mr. Hwang's direction
"Some of you are probably familiar with me. I'm Leah Moon, Eugene Moon's younger sister" Ahjumma looked at me and Ji Eun and flashed a smile. I can't help but to smile back because she's like a mom to me, Jaemin and Ji Eun
"I'm Yoon Su Moon, Leah Moon's grandson" Yoon Su shortly said
"I'm Jennie Moon, Yoon Su's older sister"
I immediately looked at Taehyung to see his reaction but he doesn't seems shocked at all. I have no idea if they're still together or not because I'm too busy with my life. I don't even know if they really loved each other
Only few members of the Moon Family are here. I wonder where the rest are
"Now that we already introduced ourselves. I guess it's time to move to the main event?" Jennie stood infront and looked at our faces one by one with a strange smile. She lost her smile when her eyes caught Ryujin who didn't even bother to move
"Eugene, I don't think Ryujin is okay" Jennie worriedly said so everyone turned their attention to Ryujin
"How are you feeling, Ryujin?"
I got flustered when someone kicked me under the table. I sat properly when I realized that it's Ryujin. I looked at her but she's still on the same position and not opening her eyes
"S-She's fine. She's just like this" I said which made Yoon Su laugh. Ahjumma immediately gave him a death glare which made him stop from laughing
Eugene sat properly and asked Jennie to continue
"What do you want to talk about first? The Dark Past or The Accident?" Jennie asked to Mr. Na, Mr. Kim and Mr. Hwang
"Please don't be like this, Eugene" Mr. Kim begged
"Why don't you just get straight to the point? You're wasting our time"
I didn't expect Mrs. Kim to say that. I actually forgot that she's here. I'm sure she's confused about what's going on especially because Mr. Kim is involved. I don't even know if she's aware about Ji Eun's mom and twin sister. I have a lot of questions in my mind that needs answer
"No one asked you to go here, lady. We don't even want you here because what you did to Ryujin" Eugene said with a smile
She did something to Ryujin?
What the hell did I missed?
"Eugene"
I got flustered when Jin Moon said that like he's giving a warning to his mom. What surprised me the most was the fact that Eugene calmed down and listened to her son like he's higher than her
They're so weird
"Before we discuss this, I want to know how's your wife?" Eugene asked to Mr. Na, I immediately looked at Ryujin and got worried
She still has no idea about Mrs. Na's condition
"S-She's still unstable" Mr. Na answered, looking so lost. This is the first time that I saw him like this. I mean, I don't even know what he did for him to be handcuffed like this. And even if he did something wrong, I'm sure he will still act confident because that's how he is

I wonder what's the reason for him to act like this
"Your wife has a weak heart ever since she was young and you knew that. I can't believe that you abused her despite her heart condition. And now that she's in critical condition, what are you going to do? Especially if she finds out what you did" Eugene said
"Critical condition?" I froze up on my position when Ryujin said that quietly but loud enough for me to hear. I looked at her but she's still on the same position
"P-Please don't tell her for now, she's still not in a good state. I don't want her situation to get worse---"
"I already know so don't worry about me anymore" I stood up from my position when I heard Mrs. Na's voice. She's sitting on a wheelchair with Jaemin, Lia and Yuna behind her. Jaemin looks so soulless but still managed to look at Ryujin
"What are you doing here? You're still not okay yet!" Jaemin said to Ryujin
Ryujin didn't hesitate to open her eyes for the first time. He looked at Jaemin who's now staring at her madly. He's not mad, he's just worried. Well, I understand him, she's so stubborn
"Are you okay?" Ryujin asked in calm tone
I saw how tears formed on teh corner of his eyes. Jaemin immediately looked away and took a deep breath
"Hey, are you okay?" Ryujin took a step but Jaemin stepped back
"I wonder if you can still look at me like that once you find out that I'm the son of the person who killed your mom"
I feel like my whole world stopped when I heard that. Jaemin's eyes was full of pain and sadness. I immediately looked at Mr. Na and saw how he started crying. Ryujin looks so confused
"W-What are you saying? It's Mr. Hwang not your dad!" Ryujin said
"Why don't you tell her everything right now. Stop hiding around the bush. You're just making it harder to her"
Ryujin looked at Yoon Su, looking for answer
"Can you tell me the truth? I'm willing to listen. Just please, tell me the truth" Ryujin begged which broke my heart
"Are you sure you can listen to it now? You're still not okay--"
"P-Please? I really want to know because all of this made me realize that my mom was really a stranger to me. If she didn't died, would I be able to know about all of this now?" she laughed while looking so lost
I looked at Jaemin and saw how sad his eyes is. He's hurting, everyone was hurting but Ryujin was the one who's suffering the most out of all the people here. She didn't lie when she said that life is so cruel to her
"We're waiting someone, they're already on their way here can we wait a little---"
Jennie can't continue what she was supposed to say when the door opened and it shows Giselle and Hwiyoung. I can see the anger from Giselle's eyes. I'm sure she badly wants to attack Mr. Na but she's restraining herself
