the door to the gaming room busted open revealing haechan with his hands in his pockets and an unbothered renjun trailing behind. jaemin looked up from his phone to look at the newly arrived boys.
"yah, na jaemin! just do it already." haechan said annoyed. jaemin peered at him in confusion. "what?-" "you and solbin, just date already, jeez." haechan interrupted him. jaemin sat up straight. "what? what do you even mean?" "jaemin, clearly you like solbin and clearly solbin likes you. so just confess."
jaemin was surprised to know his friends knew he liked her. "am i that obvious?" he asked. "yes." said all five boys making jaemin blush in slight embarrassment.
"just tell her, hyung." chenle started. "look, you've known solbin-noona for months. you two are going to move in together and your baby is gonna be born in literally twon months. rather shoot your shot now before someone else snatches her." jaemin nodded in understanding.
"but she's probably tired now. she did just come back from the mall with her frie-"
"bow down to me, peasants!" the door bursted open revealing solbin wearing a big smirk. she held many shopping bags, and wore a purple, yellow and white striped dress as well as white flats.
"i'm exhausted." she gasped as she collasped herself onto the couch, pushing jeno off. she could care less if he fell off the couch and just wanted to rest her feet. "walking around the mall with all this weight on your back fucking sucks man."
solbin sat on the couch and shut her eyes to relax herself. just then, she noticed how everyone had their attention on her instead of the screen or something. blinking her eyes opened, she looked at them in confusion. "why are you all staring at me like that?"
"jaemin has something to tell you!" haechan pushed jaemin infront of solbin, making him panick. solbin sat up and looked at jaemin curiously. jaemin stiffened but got the courage to say. "let's speak somewhere more," his eyes roamed the room "private." solbin nodded and tried standing up with the help of jaemin before leaving the room to their shared bedroom.
"what you wanna tell me?" solbin asked as she sat on the bed comfortably. jaemin cleared his throat.
"solbin, i've known you for more than a year now. i've known you since the beginning of this year as we are classmates. but after the whole party thing happened, we've grown closer. you telling me you were pregnant really shocked and scared me, but when i told you i'll take responsibility, the look of happiness on your face was enough for me to fall. after you went to the hospital, i realized that i had grown feelings for you. i've gotten to know your funny, smart, cute, beautiful self over the past 7 months of your pregnancy." jaemin went on his knees, hands holding onto solbin's as he stared her in the eye. "what i'm trying to say is,
"i love you, solbin. will you be my girlfriend?"
