Leon's POV
Ada.
I thought Claire took care of her... If Ada is here... then...
...Claire.
I hope she's okay.
I look to (Y/n) in Ada's arms and she's still lifeless.
(Kamil)- "Don't forget I'm still here!"
I haven't forgotten.
I twist my wrists inward forcing him to let go of his grip on my wrists, I back flip away from him and thrust into a kip up. I immediately focus my attention to Ada, I don't know what she's planning...but I don't like the look Ada is giving me. It's always something terrible.
Ada lays (Y/n) down on the roof of the news van and digs something out of her pockets of her tight black leather pants. It's hard to see from where I'm standing-- what does she have in her hand? It looks like some kind of---wait...
(Leon)-" Ada, don't!" She does it anyway.
She's stealing her blood.
My brows furrow and I grit my teeth feeling anger rising again.
She collects a sample of her blood for safe keeping, she jumps down from the van and struts her way to Kamil.
(Ada)- "How about we make this a fair fight?" she stops her footing and leans into her left hip standing beside Kamil. He looks her up and down-- confused if he should take her offer or kill her where she stands.
(Kamil)-" Who the fuck are you?"
(Ada)-"Someone who is offering you some friendly information."
(Kamil)-" I'm listening"
(Ada)- "Leon's going to attack only if you do, he won't charge first. He'll observe your technique and counter with a move that will give him the best advantage. He's dominate with his right side, attacking the left has been proven to be slower." she looks me in the eye as she informs him, she's observant-- I'll give her that.
(kamil)-"How do I know I wont end up with a bullet in my back?"
(Ada)-"You don't. That's part of the risk." Kamil straightens out his back cracking his fingers.
(Ada)-" I'll also give you this" she reveals the vial containing (Y/n)'s blood.
(Kamil)- "I can just take her body."
(Ada)- "Not if they run and take her with them."
(Kamil)-"They are not getting out of here alive."
(Ada)-" Then it's settled."
Shit.
This isn't going to go well for Tanner and I.
I look behind me seeing Tanner making his way to (Y/n)'s body.
Good.
(Kamil)-" I'll get this one, you hold him off for now."
(Ada)-" Don't think I'll start taking orders from you." Kamil walks away leaving her side and heading straight for tanner. He's still injured-- he can't hold him off in that condition.
Tap,tap,tap.
She's heading this way, her hips swing side to side with a power stance once she's in front of me.
(Leon)-" Why are you helping him?" She grins slightly. She's waiting for me to charge first, if it'll get her to talk-- fine. I swing with right fist first and she grabs at my wrist--ducks under my arm walking below twisting it behind me and kicking the back of my knee making me drop to one. I stand back up feeling her hands on on my shoulders lifting herself up and dropping forward with her shins hooking to my neck forcing my body to flip forward. I land on my back with a groan feeling pain travel to every nerve.
She does a back flip landing on top of me crouched on one knee with a gun aimed right at my chest.
Your POV
This is a very strange day-- I don't get it.
First it was this morning waking up to my clothes and myself being covered in dirt and blood, the involuntary crying and now Niko dragging me over to my desk. There was someone sitting at my desk-- who can it be?
Their back was turned to me seeing behind their head talking to a co worker behind them.
(Niko)-" Hey-- Look who's here!" he says making our presence known. The person turns around revealing to be Morgan, a very good friend of mine.
(Morgan)- "(Y/n)!"
She got up and walked around the desk and collided into me, she wraps her arms around me feeling her almost squeeze the life out of me. She pulls back with her hands on my biceps, she chuckles with a wide smile.
(Y/n)-" What?"
(Morgan)-" It's really good to see you" her hand reaches to my face wiping away--tears? again?
(Y/n)-"This is the second time--why am I crying?" maybe she has an answer to why it's happening.
(Niko)-"I don't know, puberty?" Morgan immediately slaps Niko in the arm.
(Niko)-"Ow..." he rubs his left bicep to soothe the pain.
(Y/n)-"I don't understand...I always see you guys at work" I wipe the rest of the tears away from my cheeks.
(Morgan)-"It's okay-- you're here now and we can get back to work."
(Niko)-"Do we have to? (Y/n) just got here.."
(Morgan)-"Well we can't go on break yet."
(Niko)-"Lieutenant isn't here, he won't know" My brows furrow at what Niko said....why did that confuse me all of a sudden? Lieutenant? Why does that bother me? Niko and Morgan have their side conversation while I concentrate really hard on this uncomfortable feeling slowly building up inside of me.
(Y/n)-"Wait-- Niko...repeat what you said"
(Niko)- "You guys should come over, pizza and beer? Or maybe some tacos..."
(Y/n)-"No-- before that. Something with the Lieutenant?"
(Niko)- "Oh-- yea, he's not in today. Why? You and him argue about something again?"
(Y/n)-"..No...I..I..I don't know. " My brain is beginning to hurt.
(Morgan)- "What's wrong? You look really troubled."
(Y/n)-"I don't know, I woke up this morning just covered in grime and blood..."They both stepped in closer giving me their full attention, listening to me..
(Y/n)-" I don't know if it was my blood... or someone else.. I wasn't wounded or anything. I've been feeling really off today and I don't know why?"
(Niko)-"You didn't party without us right?" he lightly makes a joke.
(Y/n)- "No..I would have remembered." I bite my lip thinking really hard-- what happened? what did I do?
(Y/n)-"W-what's the Lieutenants name?"
(Morgan)-"How do you not remember his name?" That's what I'd like to know.
(Niko)-" Yeah-- you two were a thing at one point." That-- that I don't remember...why cant I remember it? why can't I remember anything?!
(Y/n)- "What's the name?"
(Morgan)-" Lieutenant Eugene Tanner."
(Y/n)- "Why-- why does that ring a bell but I don't remember?" I look to them and they both shrug simultaneously.
I pace left and right-- trying to get my memory in order. Tanner? Tanner? I can't shake this feeling... the blood, The Lieutenant, there's gotta be something wrong with this--
(Y/n)-"Agghh! " a sudden ache in my stomach derailed my thoughts.
(Niko)-"You okay-- what's wrong?" He reached out placing a hand behind my back.
(Y/n)-"I don't-- just this really bad cramp or something..."
(Morgan)-"You're really off your game today, huh?"
(Y/n)-"..Yeah..." I mumble.
(Niko)-" What do you remember?" Thinking really hard... all I can remember is what I did yesterday. Went to work, talked to these two-- ate lunch with them and went home. What Did I do before....Why-- why can't I remember that far behind?! I only have one set of memories-- my hands begin to tremble feeling panic slowly approaching. Another ache went through me and this time it hurt more than the first. I held onto my stomach hunching over as Niko held onto me. What is wrong with me?
(Morgan)-"We should take you to the hospital" Another ache occurs.
(Y/n)-"No--!" I drop to my knees and Niko falls with me. Oh god-- what is this pain?!
(Niko)-"It's okay, We're here for you."
These flashing images appear in my mind like a quick photo reel, it was the Lieutenant Tanner... He and I were together showing how much he cared about me, he kisses me on my cheeks and going on movie dates, He brings me flowers but I leave not accepting them. Him and I dancing-- I was wearing a dress and he was in a suit. He's speaking but everything was mute. Another of us appears in my head seeing us in uniform-- it looks to be like government uniform. The two of us running through an obstacle course side by side together. What- what am I seeing?! More flashing images appear seeing another man.
First thing I noticed on this man was his eyes.....a shade of blue I've never seen before. His hair made him stand out-- covering his right eye made him kind of mysterious. Every image of him was different-- he's appearance changed slightly. He'd aged each image that appears....Has this man been in my life for a while? For some reason-- seeing his image made me feel calm...my chest would tighten too. Why would it do that?
Who is this man?
More pain aches in my stomach-- feeling so much pain throughout my body.
The man, he's on my mind a lot--- I see him and I walking through some farm, another walking down the street somewhere...him and I looking into each others eyes with no words to be exchanged....
What is his name?!
Another image of him appears, he's smiling....He looks me In the eyes and our lips meet. My eyes widen-- it's all flooding back to me....
Getting kidnapped...
He was there.
Seeing him in Tall Oaks...
He's was there.
He was always there....
Leon Kennedy.
Tears flooding down my face, but this time I feel the sadness travel through me deeply.
He's not here.... not with me.
(Morgan)-"(Y/n)" She said softly. I look up to them still holding my stomach feeling the aching in waves. Niko helps me stand back on my feet. Morgan embraces me in a hug and Niko holds all of us together, feeling their warmth and support made the aching less noticeable.
(Y/n)-" I don't think I'm supposed to be here..." Tears flow leaving stains on Morgan's uniform.
(Niko)-" You're too pretty to be here" he lightly jokes again. Morgan releases her left hand and slaps the back of Niko's head. He lets it happen and chuckles.
(Morgan)-"We can wait"
(Y/n)-" I miss you guys." My voice cracks.
(Niko)-" We miss you too. Miss having both my girls." He says as he releases the embrace first then Morgan.
(Morgan)-"Till we meet again" She smiles and hugs me again.
(Morgan)-" Wake up! "
Leon's POV
I side kick Ada to the back making her tumble forward, she flips gracefully back on her feet. I forgot how good she is in the combat style. she hasn't given me a single word-- she pointed a gun at me but didn't pull the trigger. Killing me isn't in her agenda ...so what the hell is she planning on doing?
A loud gasp in the distance caught my attention...
My eyes widen.
My body freezes.
Behind Ada and Kamil-- on top of the news van....
She lays sitting up breathing the air back into her lungs.
