"I totally kicked your ass during training today" Jean smirked, twirling my hair in his finger as I and the others walked into the mess hall.
I swatted his hand away, scowling "shut up horse face, you don't need to keep rubbing it in" I grumbled "sorry I just can't help it" he grinned as we sat down with him across from me.
"I'm gonna wipe that smug look off your face if you don't shut the fuck up" I said frowning. "I'd like to see you try, I'll just kick your ass again" he laughed
"Jean, knock it off" Mikasa said also frowning at him as well. "sorry I just can't help it, she's so easy to wind up" he smiled.
that was the last straw, I picked up my metal cup and threw it at him but he ducked and it hit Captain Levi in the back of the head, my eyes widened and my blood ran cold.
Jean sniggered as Levi turned around with a furious look. "who the hell threw that?!" he roared. "it was her" Jean said pointing at me.
He stormed towards me as I sunk down into my seat. I'm dead.
"who do you think you are!?" he yelled. "s-sir I'm so sorry I d-didn't me-" "I don't give a fuck, you're running laps until sunset and after that you'll be cleaning HQ from top to bottom"
he then grabbed me by my collar and threw me forward, causing me to stumble and almost fall but I caught my balance in time.
I kept my head down and trudged my way out to the training field and started running.

thank god the sun was beginning to finally set, my legs were trembling and my lungs were on fire. I felt like I could pass out any minute. my knees were bloody and scrapped from the amount of times I had fell down.
I let out a pained moan when I remember I now had to clean all of HQ. I fucking hate that stupid horsefaced prick, mark my words he was going to pay.
I headed back in side but an idea came to mind that I could maybe try reason with the Corporal so I made my way towards his office
I knocked on his door with my palms sweaty and my nerves through the roof. "name and business?" he called "It's me (y/n) sir" "come in"
I could already tell from his tone he was pissed, I slowly opened the door and walked in. "why are you here, you should be cleaning" he said scowling at me
I gulped momentarily lost for words until I composed myself. "s-sir I just wanted to apologize again, I really didn't mean to hit you. It was a complete accident"
"I don't care cadet (l/n), you shouldn't have thrown a cup in the first place" he said standing up. "I know but sir can I just please go to bed, I'm so tired, please, I'll do it tomorrow, I promise" I begged fiddling with my fingers, avoiding eye contact.
next thing I knew I had been pinned against the wall with Levi holding me by the collar of my shirt. "do I look like I give a fuck? Orders are orders and I expect you to follow them no questions asked, do you understand" he yelled
tears began to brim my eyes and run down my cheeks as I wearily nodded.
"stop crying like a little baby and start cleaning, for this little stunt you'll be running laps again tomorrow as well" he growled letting go, causing me to drop to the floor.
"no, please don't, I'm sorry, I'll clean everything just please don't make me do that" I cried standing up while wiping my tears away.
"tsk, if you do the job well enough I'll think about it" He said nonchalantly as he sat back down at his desk
I nodded and left without a word.
Levi's pov
Fuck I shouldn't have been so hard on her and yell at her like that, she looked so sad and frightened, I felt absolutely terrible but I couldn't just let her off the hook with what she done.
I had kept my eye on her for a while now and even though we didn't talk much I found myself being quite fond of her, I had no clue why and It pissed me off.
I refused to let myself get close to anyone or get attached so this felt like the best way to do it and keep her at bay, even if it did hurt her or myself.

I had been cleaning for four hours now and by this point my entire body felt sore and I could hardly keep my eyes open
I was currently scrubbing the kitchen floor and was only a quarter of the way through cleaning this place, eventually I passed out on the floor from sheer exhaustion.

I woke up to someone shrugging my shoulder and help sit me up but it took a minute or two for my senses to fully come back to me.
I opened my eyes to meet piecing gray ones and my eyes almost popped out their sockets once I noticed who it was. fuck
"s-sir I'm sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep, I'll start cle-" he cut me of with a soft sigh "(y/n) Its alright, at ease. you can go to bed now, you don't have to finish the rest" he said reaching his hand out to help me up.
I looked at his hand and then back at him skeptically, unsure if I he was being serious. "are you just gonna stay there on the floor?" he asked
I slowly placed my hand in his and winced as I stood up, I looked up at him and could see guilt in his eyes? what, no way
"come with me and I'll help get you cleaned up" he said leading me down the hall towards his office. I stopped in my tracks looking at him with confusion.
"why are you doing this? I thought you hated me, I hit you with a cup" I mumbled. "I'm still pissed, but I don't hate you (y/n)" he replied.
I furrowed my brows and went with him as we began to walk again. "I didn't mean to hit you honestly" I said as we walked into his office.
"then who were you aiming for?" he asked arching an eyebrow. "that stupid horsefaced asshole, it was all his fault, he wouldn't stop teasing me and my anger got the better of me I guess" I grumbled, Levi then laughed as he sat me down on his chair
I almost chocked on my own spit as I looked at him with wide eyes. did he really just laugh? he must have noticed and smiled again. "you look nice when you smile" I said without thinking, I placed my hand over my mouth and began to blush.
"well I'll only smile for you" he said heading into his room, I couldn't help the smile that crept up onto my lips as I felt butterflies in my stomach
he came back out with some clothes and handed them to me, "go get a shower then after I'll fix your hair" I tilted my head confused. "you know how to fix hair?"
"It's not rocket science now go get cleaned up" he said sitting down at his desk. "okay sir" I replied. "Levi will do" he said
"okay then, Levi.." I answered, feeling his name roll of my tongue felt weird but good at the same time.
After I had finished having a shower I picked up the clothes he had given me, an oversized tshirt and a pair of boxers, I couldn't help but giggle.
once I put them on I walked back out into his office "wearing humanities strongest underwear, nice" I smirked.
"I didn't have any shorts so I figured they would do, plus I have to bandage your knees" he shrugged, grabbing bandages and a hair brush.
"sit" he said, pointing towards his chair. I sat down and he kneeled in front of me wrapping the bandages around both my knees.
I then went to stand up but he sat me back down and told me to stay as he began to brush my hair, he then tied it into a braid and I looked at him impressed "not bad" I smiled
"thank you" I added "its the least I can do" he replied, pulling me in for a hug. I snuggled into his chest feeling completely at peace.
he then pulled back with one of his hands on my waist as he used his other hand to tilt my chin up so I was looking at him
"can I kiss you?" he asked catching me completely off guard but I soon smiled. "yes"
then without warning his lips were already on mine, It was so soft and passionate It felt like pure bliss, I could stay like this forever but it didn't last long.
as he pulled away he rested is forehead on mine, smiling, making me smile as well. "you have no idea how long I've wanted to do that" he mumbled.
"me too" I chuckled giving him one more peck on the lips before pulling away. "but can I go to sleep now? I feel like I'm on the verge of passing out again" I added
"of course, you can sleep in my bed" he said leading me through. Once I got into his bed he dimed the lights and headed towards the door.
"please stay" I asked quietly. he turned around and nodded walking towards me and got into bed as well, I snuggled into him, practically falling asleep within a matter of seconds.
who knew that considering how my day started it would end like this?
the next day
I walked into the mess hall with Levi already in there but I had one destination and plan in mind. "oh hey (y/n) how was your laps and cleaning yesterday?" Jean smirked.
I dumped everything off his tray and smacked him across the face with it, knocking him off his chair, quite literally wiping the smirk of his face.
everything went quiet for a moment until everyone burst out laughing "you deserved that" Eren laughed pointing down at him
"yeah you totally got him" Sasha added, holding her stomach from laughing so hard. "I actually had a pretty good day yesterday horseface thank you very much" I said kneeling down in front of him with a satisfied smile
I then stood back up to see Levi looking at me with a smile, I looked back at him with a grin
