Ahir ran after Babli but she left so he sent her a message and watched her from the corner
With shivering hands, she played the pause button on her phone again. Babli, kya tumhe aisa kuch lagta hai..... agar haan, toh bas ek baar meri baat sun lo... ab woh gaana fir se shuru hoga... agar tum mera saath dena ko ko taiyar ho toh woh lengha phen lena ..agar na hai toh pheke dena ... main samajh jaunga...."

"Abe gadhe, uska matlab samajh nahi aaya kya tujhe?" Shaurya smacked him on the head.

At the Flat
Challo aaj toh haldi ki rasam hai won toh 2 hours mai shuru hone wala hai. Abhi toh haldi laana bhi baaki hai challo jaldi karo, Babli's voice echoed in the whole house. She was tensed because of the preparation. oye !!! kitna time lagega! jaldi jaldi kar ne!" Babli shouted at the person. "Kitni tedi medi light laga raha hai. Usko straight karke laga. abhi haldi ki tayaari karni hai "Di tu ! shant ho jaa aap. Mene already kitchen mai haldi ki bowl ready kar di hai. Kanchan mam aur Yash sir Shaan sir ko ready kar rahe hai aur ..Reema and Main naki ke sari arrangements ready kar di rasam ke liye. "Aree thank you Anokhi Tu nahi hoti toh mera kya hota. "
Shaurya gets out or the drivers seat, all reached the Flast and parked they all gets down when he politely offered his help and take the haldi bowl from Poonam's hand, "Kitty laa de a mein haldi pakad leta hun... tu thak jaaogi na" she nodded and handover the bowl to him....
All came forward and greet each other ... he got mesmerized seeing Anokhi all dressed up in yellow color Indian wear... she feels shy getting his intense gaze on her when Ahir came from back, "itna mat ghoor... log kya sochenge..." he make fun of him getting smack on his arm....
A little while later, everyone was assembled in the hall . A small swing was placed in the garden which was decorated with flowers. Astha was sitting on the swing in a yellow and white saree with flower accessories beside Shaan.
"Anokhi tumhe Astha Taiji koko bhi haldi lagani hogi na?" Kancahn asked when she entered "Haan Mam. Mein bas rahi thi haldi ke thal leke woh bhaot bhari hai rahi hoon." Shaurya followed to see Anokhi keeping the haldi bowl back. He dipped his fingers without her noticing and travelled them to her bare waist carefully, applying a little haldi on her side and Anokhi gasped at the sudden touch and coolness. She turned back and crossed her arms around her chest, glaring at him while he just waved at her slowly with his haldi clad hands.
"Mujhe apne haath saaf karne hai? Hmm? Kese karun? Oh idea!" Sahurya said to himself but loud enough for her to hear. He applied the remaining haldi on Her left cheek, wiping his hands clean.
"Tum pagal ho? Tissue paper use karo na? Ya paani se wash kar -"Anokhi started but she paused when she saw Shaurya's face bending towards her. She closed her eyes in anticipation as she felt adrenaline rushing through her body. He nuzzled himself in the crook of her neck, rubbing his left cheek with her right, putting the haldi over there.Anokhi's hands went to his waist as a reflex.
"Anokhi mujhe chodne ka irada hai tumhara ya hum mere kamre mein chale?" She came out of her trance and pushed him away, wiping off the haldi with her hands and running off. But tripped but thankfully Shaurya caught her
All shouts together getting scare for them... "Shaurya/Anokhi.. theek ho tum donon..." Sahurya hold her tightly to make her stand on her own and cupped her face from one hand, "Sorry Anokhi... tum theek ho na... tumhein lagi toh nahin... voh mera paon shayad carpet mein ulajh kar mud gaya tha..."
She nodded yes feeling shy being so close to her in front of everyone... all gets relieved that they both are safe when Shaan AStha and Gayatri laughed loudly... all looked at her when Shaan said said, "kya baat hai bhai... asli haldi ki rasam toh isse kehte hai.... inn donon ne toh khud hi ek dusre ko haldi laga di... humein toh mauka hi nahin diya rasam karne ka..."
All got shocked and saw them when they were shocked to see haldi Shaurya and Anokhi drenched in haldi....
Anokhi touched her cheek and realized while asking about her well-being Shaurya touched her cheek with his hands colored with haldi... also when she held Sameer from shoulder for support, haldi from her hand spread on his neck and cheek...

Anokhi went in the shower when Sahurya came in quickly "shaurya tum yaha kaya kar rahe ho she stepped back ...she knew the look in his eyes..." In half an hour they bathed and wore her haldi dress and earnings.Everyone came in one by one to apply haldi on her, Gayatri and Kanchan putting the shagun ki haldi. Now, it was time for Sahurya . Shaurya put all the haldi on her hair and inside her ear, making it all yellow. Kitty came next and started by putting a dot on her cheeks, forehead, chin and then tilted the whole bowl over her head, much to her sudden shock and surprise.
