I walked off the bus making my way towards my locker.
"Karly Fletcher to the office for a moment please." I heard over the intercom.
Ian even do shit bruh.
I grabbed my books and backpack and went to the office.
As i walked in the office i saw the dude that wouldn't get up out my seat.
I stared at him and got knocked out of it by name being called.
"Ms.Karly?" the front desk lady asked.
"Yes ma'am." i said.
"This is our new student Na'vontay we would like you yo show him around." She said.
Y'all just don't know how bad i wanted to throw a hissy fit.
"Uhh okay." She nodded and handed him his schedule i think.
"Common lil bruh." i said.
He smacked his lips and got up.
"this lil bruh got a name ." he said.
"I care for ?" i asked getting smart.
"Shut up damn your voice annoying." I fake gasped like i was hurt.
"Slight don't give a fuck. Anyways this is the gym, bleachers over there and uhh thats coach Franklin and Coach harris."
"White ass names." he said.
"Lets go Na'Vontay." i said.
"Call me vontay not that shit."
"Your name weird i've heard of a davontay not no damn na." i said walking him to his first period teacher.
"Never heard no black girl with the name Karly either." He said getting slick.
"What you want my name to be keisha or sum?" i asked.
"Naw son." He said and i nodded.
"Where you from?" lemme be nice a little it.
"Baton Rouge Louisiana." He replied.
"How its like up there ?"
"Violence, gang banging, drugs you knoe all that illegal shit."
"You wasn't apart of that was you?"
"Why you think im here?" He said smartly.
"It was a question nigga what the fuck."
After that we went through all his classes introduced him to his teachers.
We went to lunch i guess he made some friends,, well mostly girls.
It was now the end of school and we were now walking to our busses.
As i walked to my bus i heard my name being called .
"KARLY." I heard the most popular girl in school call me.
Jayda.
"Uhhh wassup?" I said.
"Nothing much umm here." she said handing me a piece of paper with a number on it.
"Whats this?" I looked confused.
"Its my number i want you to give it to vontay and tell him to text me." She smiled.
"uhh why couldn't you do that?"
"ummm because now go do it." she shooed me off .
I rolled my eyes and continued on my bus.
I saw vontay and gave him the piece of paper.
"What's this? Your number?" He asked sitting in the seat across from mines.
"Her name jayda ,, she the most popular girl in school and she wants you to text her." i said while typing on my phone.
"Oh ight i guess." he said.
I shook my head and laughed .

"MAAAA!" i called out.
"Ari not here baby girl." I head my daddy say.
"Daddyyy!!" i said with excitement and ran to him with a hug.
"Hey princess how was school." He said.
"School was school i had to show a new student around there today." I said.
"thats interesting,, did you like it?" he asked.
"Somewhat." I said and walked up to my room to scroll on instagram.

One day her big brother Tae was picking her up and my mom had picked me up too.
Tae and mom had met eachother and became best friends. Only because mom and tae went way back,, with eachother.
which made it so much easier for me and dream.
