jungkook has his eyes boring into taehyung's. both the boys having an intense eye contact, none of them ready to step back. the elder raises his chin, smirking coyly at the younger as his hand raises to gesture towards his best friend, earning a faint hiss from jungkook who takes his eyes off the man in front of him, to his brother who smiles and walks to stand near taehyung.
"namjoon hyung," jungkook says, voice sounding low but confident of his choice.
"hobi hyung" taehyung nods without hesitating and sees the younger's gaze quivering for a bit, as he knew he had taken most of jungkook's confident members.
"alright go again! kook, tae, rock paper scissors shoot!" jin voices, standing between them. the two boys lift their hands up, the clenched fists relax as they come down, turning into a 'paper' and a 'scissors'.
taehyung hisses in disappointment, turning his head to the side and takes a step back while jungkook closes his eyes, sighing dramatically at his victory. his eyes open, finding their way towards taehyung's defeated expression and chuckles mockingly, "well played taehyung-ssi, I choose jin hyung and yoongi hyung."
the boys laugh at the younger's dramatic words as jin and yoongi go to stand near jungkook, completing his team while taehyung has stress lining his forehead as he glances at aera who is visibly hurt, for her arms are crossed on her chest and a pout resting on her lips.
"no one likes me..." her voice is heard between the mini celebration of jungkook with his team members, making them pause their motions and glance at the girl who is standing alone, still not being a part of any team.
"i'm so sorry, baby, i didn't see you. otherwise I would always choose you." jungkook justifies.
"no, you're lying!" aera huffs, stomping her foot on the floor, "i don't like koo and taetae..."
"aww" hoseok coos, stepping near the girl to give her hug. "don't be sad riri, we'll be in one team okay?"
"i don't wanna play." she declares, "it's my birthday in two days and they're making me sad. this is not done."
yoongi chuckles with a nod, "hmm this is so not done. now they have to give riri a bigger present."
"yes!" she nods, sticking her tongue out at jungkook and taehyung.
"okay, what do you want?" the two sigh.
"let's go on a trip?" aera asks, smiling at them. her words have the boys thinking before they look at each other, nodding as they find the idea acceptable. moreover they realise it was indeed a great idea to have a break between the daily hectic routines.
"sure!" jin chimes first, "that's great actually."
"yeah, I mean we can go." namjoon nods, "where though?"
"i don't know, anywhere." aera shrugs, "just that we all will go together. and I will be jiminie oppa's roommate!"
"oh why not mine?" jungkook frowns,
"you didn't choose me." the girl huffs, turning her head away from jungkook, making him chuckle softly at his sister's cute way of getting mad.
he hums, deciding to play along and steps ahead, bringing his arms to wrap around her smaller body. aera looks up at him, as he has to lean to match her height and sticks his tongue at her, "i will make you my roommate."
"no" she shakes her head instantly, "i don't want you to be my roommate."
jungkook sighs and boops her nose, "i'm the one taking you on the trip, kiddo."
"jimin oppa can do that too, he has more money," the girl giggles, earning a fake gasp from the brother, "but just so you don't be sad and keep sulking, i'll be your roommate koo."
"ah thank you for the favour, ma'am" he says dramatically, making aera laugh as she takes a subconscious step forward, letting her body hug jungkook's muscular one on it's own, having the boy grinning at his little victory of making up with his sister.
"we can continue our game later. let's start packing right now, we'll be leaving tomorrow, for... wait, where are we going?" taehyung tilts his head, staring at the youngest girl who shrugs and passes the confused look to jungkook.
"let's go jeju, we haven't been to hyung's pent house for years" the boy beams, "i miss the pool!"
"and when appa books the whole ice cream truck!" aera adds, "yes jeju is great!"
yoongi chuckles, shrugging as the boys nod in agreement for jeju island to be there go-to destination. the elders head out, while yoongi makes a call to the butler in his pent house in jeju telling him to make necessary arrangements and prepare all the rooms for the boys will be arriving tomorrow.
jungkook, taehyung and aera head upstairs too, pulling their suitcases to pack the clothes. aera smiles at the yellow jumpsuit in her hands and shows it jungkook, who smiles in response, feeling extra sweet and affectionate for his sister today.
"let's take the blue shirt oppa," aera says, keeping the jumpsuit in the suitcase as another cloth grabs her attention, "we'll match! me, you and taetae oppa!"
"yeah great idea!" taehyung grins, giving her a high-five as they keep their matching blue t-shirts that jungkook and taehyung bought her from the boys' section in the mall. in fact, most of aera's clothes were from the boys' section for she really liked matching with her oppas, and said boys' clothes are more comfortable.
"guys!" they here the eldest hyung's voice suddenly, "we're heading to the company, there's some urgent work!"
"okay!" taehyung replies.
jungkook zips up his suitcase sighing in contentment as his hands rest on his hips, eyes staring at his luggage, "i'm done with mine." he declares, turning to look at taehyung and aera.
"me too" taehyung nods, zipping up his suitcase as well.
"i'm not" aera voices, dumping another pile of clothes, leaving her closet empty. "i need more space, i think..."
"it's just for a week, baby. you don't have to take so many clothes." taehyung laughs.
"okay" she sighs, "help me choose" her hand points at her clothes.
"i can't believe you're turning fifteen in two days." jungkook chuckles, "you're still a baby."
"that is an interesting way of saying you don't wanna help me." she says, making the boys laugh.
"just take a few" he says and fishes out his phone on feeling it vibrating in his pocket, "ah i think i need to go to the studio," he sighs on seeing it's his manager.
"you had to go somewhere too right?" aera asks taehyung who nods, checking the time.
"do you wanna come? we might get some frappuccino or something"
"no, i'll choose some good clothes." the girl sighs, pulling up a smile the next second as she waves at him, making him chuckle and ruffle her hair.

"sir, what about the papers? shall i bring them over right now?"
"uh no, i'll see them tomorrow before leaving." jimin says and the man sighs, glancing at the signal that is still red.
"it's urgent, sir. i'm on my way if you want me to get it home?" he asks, keeping his attention on his boss's voice, wanting to here the information he's looking for.
"i'm not at home right now, bring them tomorrow, manager seong." jimin says, making the man smile to himself.
"oh alright, no problem sir." he says politely before hanging up with a smirk lining his lips.
his eyes focus on the glowing screen of the phone, thumb scrolling through the contacts finding the desired number almost instantly. he taps on it, bringing the device close to his ear, listening to the very common ringing sound until jungkook answers.
"yes, manager seong? hyung went to the comapny if that's what you called for."
"yeah, actually i'm near your residence and i have some papers from the bank which needs your signatures."
"mine?" jungkook asks, sounding a bit puzzled.
"jimin sir's, but he's busy in the company and it'll take about another hour to get there, and the banks will close by then. so i thought, your sign can work too."
"ah I understand, but i'm in the studio right now."
"oh uhm so there's no one at home? taehyung sir might read them, we can just get the signatures when i get to the comapny."
"no, he's busy with something, and i pretty sure aera can't help you either." jungkook says with a chuckle, making him smile too, "whatever it is, being it to hyung tomorrow."
"yeah it's okay, and i'm sorry for disturbing you, sir."
"no no, it's alright. and you don't have to call me sir, manager seong, i've told you so many times it feels weird when you're much older than me." jungkook says in his casual tone.
"ah sorry" the manager chuckles, "i'll hang up now."
"sure,"
the man cracks his neck, coming back to reality by a honk from behind. he rolls his eyes, accelerating his car and takes u-turn from the next lane. the boys are busy, means aera's alone at home.

"ah finally!" aera sighs deeply, throwing herself on the bed as she stares at the nicely arranged clothes on one side and the pile of not-needed clothes on the carpet.
her ears perk to a sound and a frown wrinkles her forehead. she stands up walking out of the room and heads downstairs, realising it is jimin's manager with a file in his hand.
"hello ahjussi" she chirps with a smile, greeting the older man who smiles at her.
"hello, aera" he lets out, looking around as he's too familiar with the house, "where's jimin sir?"
"he went to the office" she says, "what is that?"
"some of his papers from the company, he asked me to bring them." he states, "are you alone by the way?"
"well, yeah," she nods, "do you know we're going jeju tomorrow? it's my birthday so we'll celebrate there!" she recites excitedly.
"that is great" he eyes her young body down and places the file on the table, "i think i missed the date, it's almost your birthday, right."
she giggles while the man is busy is staring down at her, as she's still small when compared to the boys and him, which always looked cute to the brothers. he smirks slowly, feeling eased by the fact that everyone is too acquainted with him, to see him as a threat after all these years of working together.
"i bet you must be hungry, shall i cook something?" he asks, remembering how the last time he cooked for her and the boys, they seemed to love it.
"you will?"
"why not? kids should be well fed," he smiles coyly, "and i'll make sure to feed you well and good today."
"ah thanks! mac-n-cheese!"
"sure" he chuckles. his voice is coated with a layer of lust and craving that goes unnoticed by the girl who sits on the couch, going through her favorite disney movies, busy deciding on a nice one.
hooded eyes stare at the subtle movements that aera does subconsciously, laughing whenever tinkerbell did something silly or when peter fell, or swaying with the song as wendy dances with the animals. a faint hiss gets lost between her cheerful laughter and joyous claps, as he bites his lower lip.
he takes his eyes off for a little while only to pull out a pill, which he crushes into a powdery texture and mixes in the drink. with a satisfactory smirk, he picks up the food tray with delicious smelling mac-n-cheese and a fresh, sweet fruit juice, for an even more sweet kid.
"here" he voices, sounding deeper than usual, earning a glance from aera, who lets it slide, and focuses on the food.
"thank you ahjussi" his eyes watch how the corners of her mouth lift up, showing a smile to him.
"you're welcome," he says, "come on, eat up"
aera nods, taking the plate on her lap and licks her lips smiling at her food. however a low grunt grabs her attention, making her glance at the man with a confused gaze. the man smiles lazily, eyes looking a bit dazed as he nods his head towards the food, gesturing her to continue eating.
she takes the first bite, finding it as delicious as he cooked the last time and gives a thumbs up to the old man, "this is great!"
"you'll love the next one even more," he murmurs out with a smirk.
"what?" she tilts her head, "did you say something?"
"no, you can eat, i'll come back after taking a call okay?" he says.
"oh okay" she nods and he stands up, walking out of the living room. aera swings her legs back and forth, eating while watching her movie which is frequently making her smile and giggle.
the man watches her movements, getting excited as she leans forward and takes the glass of juice, bringing it closer to her lips. her eyes are still on the television screen, while she gulps down a big sip, having the man reaching his hand down in his pockets. aera laughs again, placing the glass back on the table and continues eating from the plate.
in the next ten minutes, he decides to go back and join the girl who looks a bit uneasy frequently blinking and rubbing her eyes. with a smile dancing on his lips, he takes a seat next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"are you okay?"
"hm" she nods slowly, shifting away and looks at him with a subtle frown. for a split second her eyes show a glint of fear, making her move back and scan the room to locate her phone or the house's landline.
"it's okay" the manager's voice sounds slurred to her as she finds it hard to make out anything clearly. her limbs feel devoid of energy, almost as if someone took the control of her body from her.
her eyes are half open and body resting back on the couch when she watches the man smirking at her. he removes his coat and the rolls up the sleeves of his white formal shirt, that only attire aera has ever seen the man in, for as long as she could remember.
he leans closer to her while she's unable to move back, inhaling deeply the scent of her that somewhat makes him scoff on smelling a faint fragrance of baby products, reminding him of the fact this girl has a sensitive skin ever since she was a baby.
"jeon aera" he hisses, "i've been waiting for this for so long. now, finally we're alone."
"s-stop" her voice comes out weak and breathy when she tries to tell him off. he chuckles darkly, letting his hand roam over her body as if marking it as his.
her eyes brim with warm tears as she lifts her trembling arm, using all her energy to push his hand away as he tries to undo her button-down dress that jungkook got her when they went to mall together and the cute panda on the dress had stolen her attention.
"no," he hushes her down with a stern glare, "good girls don't protest. stay still, you'll enjoy, i promise."
a sob leaves the kid's lips as he continues to unbutton her dress, leaving her just in her undergarments. she closes her eyes, trying her best to move away or push this dirty man away from herself, but nothing works.
"oppa..." she whimpers, turning her head away feeling his breath near her face. her breath hitches, suddenly being forced to look up as he grabs her face harshly, shooting a strict glare.
"do not take his name" his words are firm and low, just as his hand that moves to her neck, clenching his fingers around the soft, milky skin.
aera coughs, shaking her head while tears continue to spill out of her eyes, shutting them tight, not wanting to see the wicked face of the man that she thought was a friend for all these years. the manager laughs at her helpless state, lowering his head on her bare skin, leaving dirty kisses making the girl cry and squirm in her place.
"ahh!" aera cries in pain, shaking her head and moving her hands as much as she can, only to to be hit silent by him. he pulls out his belt, smacking on her skin harshly, making her scream. his eyes stare at her with an intense gaze, using the belt to tie her hands and his neck tie rolled and stuffed in her mouth.
tears stream down her face, as she looks at the man through half open eyes and a blurry vision, feeling a sharp pain on her body and the man smirking against her skin as his clothes are thrown on the floor too now.
"oppa..."
