Today was my baby shower and we were all getting ready. I did some light makeup on myself then grabbed my purse before heading downstairs.
"Come on" Tre said
"Did you feed the animals?"
"Yeah" he said
I nodded getting up he took my hand and we walked out the house. Tre's mom decided to throw me a baby shower at her house she's the only one that knew the gender because I didn't want to know. She ended up telling everyone else so they can get stuff for whatever the babies genders is. Me, Tre, and the kids won't know the genders until we get there. I decided to be cordial and invite my family too i'm not gon talk to them as much though.
A hour later we pulled up to his moms house. Her house was pretty big so she wanted to do it here. Tre got out then went around helping me out.
"Ma Bella said she almost here" Mir said
"Okay" I said grabbing my purse
Bella was actually a good girlfriend to Mir which I liked she treats him good and he does the same.
We waited for Bella in the front so she wouldn't have to walk in the back by herself. Her mom dropped her off before leaving.
"Hey" she said hugging me
"Hey" I said hugging her back
She spoke to everyone before we all headed to the back gate going in the backyard.
"The parents have arrived" his mom said speaking into the mic
Everyone started to clap as we walked in. I looked around seeing nothing, but blue and pink.
"Your having a twin boy and a girl" she said
"Deadass?" Trevon said happily
"Yes" she smiled
Tre picked me up spinning me around. He pecked my lips repeatedly.
"We're having both genders baby" he said kissing me
"Yes we are" I said
"Let's go another boy in the house" Mir said
Mya and Mari rolled their eyes causing me and Tre to laugh.
"Ma they already annoying just imagine another one" Mya said
"Right" Auna said shaking her head walking away
"Y'all will be okay y'all gon love em" I said smiling
Tre took my hand and we went around speaking to everyone. I seen Jahmir here I don't know who the fuck keep inviting him to my shit like he belong here.
I went up to my parents and nem.
"Who invited Jahmir?" I asked
They all got quiet just looking at me.
"I did" Jordyn said
"Why the fuck would you invite him here? he has no reason to be here that's weird as fuck were both married and it's disrespectful you see my husband here along with his family actually this is his momma house so for you to invite him here was outta line Jodryn you and I both know that" I said
She just stood there laughing.
I nodded walking away I grabbed the mic before standing on the nearest chair.
"This shits over everyone can leave now if y'all want some food or whatever take it and go if y'all wanna take y'all gifts back as well go ahead I don't give a fuck" I said throwing the mic on the table before getting off the chair. I went in the house going in the bathroom locking the door.
I sat down on the toilet seat crying. Today was supposed to be a good day man some shit always happening.
Someone knocked on the door causing me to stop crying.
"One minute" I said
I wiped my tears and splashed water on my face I opened the door seeing Tre.
"Baby what's wrong?" he said coming in the bathroom closing the door behind him
"Today was supposed to be a good day Trevon. I'm sorry"
"You don't gotta be sorry what's wrong? what happened"
I told him what happened he nodded wiping my tears. He grabbed my hand and we headed to the back yard seeing everyone was still here. He grabbed the mic as we stood in front of the gift table.
"Aye look ima put it like this. If my wife don't want you here you need to leave now. She should be enjoying her baby shower instead y'all got her out here tripping so if she told you she don't want you here leave" he said
Jordyn,Tay, and Iza'rae grabbed their stuff leaving. Jahmir did too along with his wife.
"Is that it?" he asked me making me nod my head
"Aight y'all can enjoy y'all selfs now" he said putting the mic back
"Thank you" I said
"No problem baby now go enjoy yo self" he said kissing my forehead
I nodded walking off going to Kim and nem.
"Hey y'all" I said sitting down
"Hey babymomma" Noah said
"Have y'all figured out names yet?" Rylie asked
"Yeah" I said
"What are they"
"Y'all gon find out when I give birth" I said smiling
They nodded and we continued talking until I got hungry so I went to make me a plate .
"Tre I need the keys to the car" I said
He handed me the keys and I walked to the front getting what I needed. I locked the car and was on my way to the backyard when a car pulled up shooting I felt a stinging sensation in my chest before I dropped and everything fell out my hands.

"Someone start the fucking car" Tre yelled
It begin to get hard to keep my eyes open and I was becoming sleepy so I started to close my eyes.
"No mamas stay up we gon get you and the twins to the hospital" Tre said picking me up
"I love you tell the kids I love them take care of them and the twins for me" I said choking on my blood
"No baby stay awake please" was the last thing I heard before everything went black

We heard gun shots once the shooting stopped we ran to the front seeing Dee laying on the floor. My heart sunk as I ran to her.
"Baby"
"Someone get start the fucking car" I yelled
The kids were screaming and crying. Dee started to close her eyes.
"No mamas stay up we gon get you and the twins to the hospital" I said picking her up
"I love you tell the kids I love them take care of them and the twins for me" she said choking on her blood before her eyes closed.
I got in the back of Dre's car with Diora laying across my lap. He sped off to the hospital. Everyone else was gonna meet us there. Once we pulled up I grabbed her lifeless body running in the hospital.
"Help my wife's been shot" I yelled
They took her putting her on the stretcher.
"Sir we're going to do everything we can to save your wife and your child"
"It's two" I said
"Two what sir?"
"S- she's having twins" I said
She nodded before running to the back. Everyone else came in sitting in the waiting room.
"Daddy I want mommy" Auna cried
"I know princess you'll see her soon" I said kissing her forehead
The kids were sitting here crying and seeing them cry hurt me. Some shit is always happening to us man.
"Pops what if she don't make it" Mya said sitting next to me.
"She going to make it, your moms a fighter. She ain't gon leave y'all in this world without a mother" I said putting my arm around her as she cried in my chest
"What the hell happened?" Tay said running in
I just chuckled to myself.
"What's funny?" he asked stepping up to me
I moved Auna and Mya out the way before standing up.

"You. Y'all fake as fuck to Diora I bet her getting shot had something to do with y'all, y'all always the reason for my wife laying in a fucking hospital bed. If my fucking wife die i'm the one who gotta take care of 7 kids on my own. Y'all act like y'all love her so much, but do shit to piss her off. At that dinner her own parents chose y'all girlfriends over their own daughter. Then y'all sat here and invited her fucking ex to her fucking baby shower knowing she's happily married. Y'all supposed to be her family, but fasho don't do no family like shit. Once she get outta the hospital we're moving out of fucking Houston fasho" I said
"You not fucking taking my sister or Jah's kids anywhere" her best friend said
"Would y'all wanna stay here with Jah and nem or come with me and yo mom if we moved outta Houston" I asked the kids
"Y'all" they said
"Oh okay then. Jahmir ain't even a real man he ducked off and got married then stopped taking care his kids that ain't no fucking father he ain't nothing, but a bitch" I said

"Ain't nobody scared of his ass call him up here" I said before walking away
I sat back down next to Mya and Auna.

A hour later
Jahmir walked in talking to Dee's parents and nem.
"Say what you was saying to my face" he said walking up to me
I stood up placing Auna in the chair.
"I said you ain't even a real man you ducked off and got married then stopped taking care yo kids that ain't no fucking father you ain't nothing, but a bitch "
He tried to punch me, but I dodge his punch giving him an uppercut. We started throwing punches at each other. Until security came and pulled us apart.
"Bitch i'll kill you" he said spitting out blood
"That's what's wrong with y'all niggas nowadays so quick to pull out a gun instead of using y'all hands, but go ahead kill me i'll be waiting" I laughed getting out of the security guards grip
"Ima have to ask you guys to leave" he said
"I ain't leaving shit, my wife in here" I said
"Okay well sir you need to leave" he said speaking to Jahmir
"I will. Twins, Mya, and Tinker let's go." he said
"No"
"What?" he asked looking at them
"We ain't going with you" Mir said
"Yes the fuck y'all are" he said
"No we're not" Mari said
"Bet stay" he said before walking out
I sat down then a few minutes later the doctor came out.
"Family of Diora Johnson" he said using her maiden name
"That's us" I said picking up Auna and standing up
"She appears to be in good health. The bullet entered her chest, there was an exit wound making the surgery much easier. We were able to remove the bullet. She just has to keep it easy and clean the wound frequently try to make sure she avoids lifting anything heavy. However we did have to do a c-section-"
"Are the babies okay?" Mari asked cutting her off
"Yes, they are, you have two healthy twins in room 310, you can see them."
"Okay thanks" I said
Me,the kids, my mom, and nem headed to the elevator. We got on heading to Dee's room once the elevator came to a stop we got off looking for her room when we found it we knocked waiting for her to say something.
"Come in" she said lowly
I walked in seeing her holding our kids. I smiled at her even in a hospital she still fine.
"How you feeling" I asked looking down at her and the twins
"Okay. What happened to your face?" she asked touching my now swollen lip
"I got in a fight with yo ex" I said
"What the fuck why?" she asked looking past me at everyone else
"I'll tell you later right now let's just enjoy our blessings" I said kissing her forehead
"Okay wash y'all hands if y'all wanna hold em" she said
I washed my hands before anyone then sat down in the chair next to her bed. She handed me one of em. They looked just like me and her.
"What are y'all gonna name them?" Rylie asked
She leaned over whispering their names in my ear. She looked at me waiting for approval and I smiled nodding my head.
"Trevion and Treviana" she said smiling lightly
"Just ghetto" Noah laughed
"Fuck up" she laughed only for her to wince in pain
"He ain't that funny to be hurting yo self nie" my grandma said making us laugh
"Let me hold my grand babies" my mom said taking Treviana from me
"What's their middle names?" my mom asked
"Trevion Noah Dior Ashton and Treviana Marie Skye Ashton" she said
"Aww he has my name" Noah said ugly crying
"Ew" I said laughing
"Yeah you said you wanted to be the God dad so why not" she shrugged
"Can we hold em?" Mya asked
My mom passed her Treviana and Dee passed Mari Trevion.
"Hi princess" Dee said to Auna
"Hi mommy" she said climbing in the bed with her.

It's been a few hours the kids left with Tre's mom it was just me, Tre, and the twins here.
I wonder who the fuck shot me.
"Mamas you good?" Tre asked coming out the bathroom
"Yea" I said lightly smiling
"Have the doctors came and checked on y'all yet?"
"No not yet"
He nodded sitting down.
"I love you" he said kissing my lips
"I love you too Tre" I said
"Maybe when the twins are a few months old we can have that wedding" he said smiling
I nodded smiling back.
"Now we got two birthdays to celebrate in October" I said looking at him
"Damn you right" he said
The doctor came in checking on the twins and changing out my bandages. Once they were done I fed the twins then we went to sleep.
