Sai looked at her and said ,
"We have not even met once akanksha ! How could you say that he loves me ? " sai asked as everything she heard from akanksha pondered over her .
"Believe it or not but he is just perfect for you.." Akanksha declared
"I don't think so." Sai mumbled
Akanksha gave her a confused look as she was not getting sai's changed behaviour .
"You're acting different." She observed
"I ain't. " Sai told
"Hey , what's the matter ?" Akanksha kept her hand on sai's
"My life has changed akanksha !" Sai sobbed while looking at the floor
"Changed ? I didn't understand. " akanksha asked
"My mother sold me for 10 crore rupees." She told and tear escaped through her eye
That left akanksha in astonishment , she didn't knew that !
"But , how is it possible ?" She asked
"She sold me to the C.E.O of chavhan industries and I couldn't found any way to escape through it." Sai smiled sadly
Akanksha's heart ache to saw her bestfriend's sad smile , tears were flowing through those eyes which were meant to shine anyone's darkness .
"I'm so sorry sai..." Akanksha held her in a tight hugg , sai closed her eyes and let her tears flow
"I was not there when you needed me most. " akanksha caressed her back and released hugg
"It's ok." Sai wiped her tears off and smiled at her ,
"Is he a good man ?" Akanksha asked hopefully
"Yes , he is much better .." Sai told lowly
"Do you feel safe there ? Did he ever hurted you ?" Akanksha cared
"I don't know why ? but I do feel safe when he stays with me ..doesn't matter if I've got hurt by him initially all that matters to me is his care that he showed from the very first day when we met ."
Sai's cheeks turned red as she thought about virat , yet she has no realization about her own feelings that she actually love him and moreover cares about him , she might be saying that he is the reason of her aaba's loss but deep down in somewhere she knows that he would never do something like that.
"I wanna know more..." akanksha 😩
Sai slapped her hand playfully ,
"You're taking interest in himmm....." 😒😂
"I can see ..he must be hot" Akanksha drooled over him 🥵
"Yeah , he is.." Sai said sarcastically by rolling her eyes though she was agreed somewhere .
"Tell me something more......" akanksha said by facepalming herself
"There's nothing much to talk about. " Sai bit her lower lip as she was seeing how excited akanksha was to get his details , she wanted to tease her more
"You're making me more desperate .." Akanksha 🥺
"Don't blackmail me with your cute innocent face akanksha..I'll tell , ok ?" Sai 😒😌
"Yayyyy...You're the best !!" Akanksha clapped her hands and gave her a sheepish smile
They got interupped by virat's call , sai stared at her phone and sighed , akanksha gazed at her blankly and asked whose call it is ?
"Your hottie's.." Sai giggled
"God...pick it up !!" Akanksha squealed
Sai picked it up ,
"Where are you sai ?" Virat's tone seemed a lil frustrated
"Um..at home" sai lied
"Don't you dare to say a word now ..(virat snapped) have you lost your mind ? Am I crazy to send my driver for you ? He told me everything .." Virat shouted at sai , she lied twice and there was a reason why virat wants to keep his eyes on her though She didn't liked virat's rage and she instantly jumped down his throat
"I am not a five year old kid who needs to get someone along with itself , I've already cleared that I can manage myself ! You don't need to worry about me all the time ." Sai told
"Even if you can manage yourself I want you to hear me as there must be a reason why I'm not letting you to go anywhere ." Virat cared
"Reason ? Huhh..I've managed myself neatly when you weren't with me and I can do it further too ." Sai said
"So you've decided not to listen mine." Virat raised his brow
"Why would I listen to you ? I'm grateful for whatever you did and I respect that but if you're expecting me to behave like your puppet then I'm sorry I would never do that !" Sai cleared , her words were sharp..
"Don't worry you won't get hurt by my care now.." Virat said lowly , his anger got vanished ..he seemed hurt
Sai lowered her voice too , she stayed quite
"Just call me if there's problem ..Bye" he told
Sai heard him and waited for him to cut the call , virat waited to hear her response but when he did not get any he cut the call and headed in his room as he was standing in the balcony before .
Samrat saw his fallen face , he asked
"Someone is seeming sad today.."
"Shut up jeeva." Virat said tiredly
"What's the matter ?" Samrat asked seriously
"Nothing. " virat replied dryly ,
Samrat went near him and sat beside , he kept his hand on virat's shoulder
"You can share with me shiva. "
"How can I express my love to her jeeva ? She is misunderstanding me !" Virat looked away
"Misunderstanding you ? But why ?" Samrat asked
"She thinks that I want to make her my puppet when the reality is it's my fear of seeing her in any problem that's why I want her to be safe , she just don't understand." Virat opened up
"Oh...I got it now , it's not her fault shiva neither it yours as she have no feelings for you but you have so you cares about her and wants her to be safe and it's totally right at the other hand sai don't want to live under your control or to be your puppet as once she went through it and knew how it feels , she got finally freed from that cage just because of you and got some time for herself so how can you cage her once again in your orderes ? It is what she must be thinking shiva and you need to understand that , your concern is genuine but give her some space."
Samrat explained him and virat agreed as whatever he said made sense ,
"Yes but I can give you some tips to get know about sai's feelings for you." Samrat 😌
There , Sai pulled her phone away and stared at akanksha she was disappointed to hear them yelling at each other
"You both are terrible.." she said
"I know ." Sai replied dryly and told akanksha that she has to go now as it was getting late
"Stay here tonight.." Akanksha ordered
"Sorry akanksha but I gotta go now.." Sai replied silently , she was quite gloomy though
"Okay..I'll drop you by my car" She said
"It's ok akanksha..I'll go" Sai smiled and headed
She was in the halfway when she sensed someone behind her back , she turned to see who it was and got relaxed to found jeet
"Relax..I didn't want to scare you" he told
"What are you doin here ?" She asked
"Don't worry Virat sir hasn't sent me ! Samrat sir told me to be with you." He lied as virat told him to say that , virat didn't want to let her know .
Sai noded and walked next to him as the car was parked at a distant ,
"Why did you said that virat has not sent you ?" She asked
"He is hurt.." Jeet replied honestly as he doesn't want to lie about him , he wanted them both to stick together and it was necessary to let her know it
"Is he ?" Sai asked sensitively
"Yes.." Jeet noded
"From how many years you've been working with him ?" Sai asked
"From the past ten years. " jeet replied
Sai shook her head ,
"You might know him so well." Sai 9mumbled
"I was a part of every single moment of his life Sai , he went through a major trauma of losing his whole family sai that forced him to get into an different person ..there was a time when I saw his breakdowns and it horrified me , he put himself collected but unhealed..you healed him Sai and brought him back !" Jeet told her that made her hands shivered .
"After so many years I saw him caring about someone.." jeet told
Sai smiled ..they reached at the parking slot , they had some talks till reaching at home
"Bye.." sai waved her hand
Jeet noded and waved her hand back
Sai returned back to her room and got freshen up , she picked her phone and read that messages of virat's which he'd sent her in morning

Sai felt gloomy about her behaviour of disrespecting his care , she quickly called virat and he picked it up within some seconds
"Hello virat.." she talked first
"Hm.." dry reply
"I'm sorry..." Sai mumbled
"Hm..it's fine" again didn't showed much interest
"Are you mad at me ?" Sai asked worriedly
"No I'm happy that you apologized for your mistake !" Virat seemed changed
"Look , I genuinely feel that and it's ok if you're mad at me..it is obvious too" Sai told as she realised about her mistake
"Can we talk later ? I've other works to do.."
He cut the call without hearing sai's response , she felt like he ignored her
"Kya yaar......." virat yelled
"Good job mah boy.." samrat 😎
"What she must be thinking about me ?" Virat 😥😖
"Just avoid her a little bit and you'll get all your answers. " Samrat 😏😉
"I can't ignore her.." virat murmured to himself
"Romeo..." samrat pronounced him by reading some fresh articles
Virat gave her a side look and asked him about tommorow's schedule
"Another meeting with khannas." Samrat told
"Why the hell you're not listening to me jeeva ? We are going to cancel the deal right ?" Virat raised his brow
"No we aren't !" Samrat declared
"I'm the boss." Virat fumed
"I'm that boss' elder brother. " samrat 😌😏
"I legit hate meeting her again and again jeeva , it sucks to meet your ex after so many years !" Virat rolled his eyes casually
"We can't do anything shiva..it is important for our company and why can't you keep professionalism to them ? She is your would be colleague's wife and co-owner of pearl company you have to just see her like it..simple" samrat explained
"What's simple ? She stares at me just like the way she used to stare in past.." virat told by making a disgusted face

On the next day , virat's phone popped up with sai's messages ..he woke up and glared at the notification but as soon he went to check them samrat took his phone and said

"Now get up and freshn up ..we're heading at blue love cafeteria
"Okay...." virat got up from his bed and went to bathroom
Sai waited for virat's message or atleast a call , she haven't had her breakfast yet
There , they reached at the cafeteria and took their respective seats ..they ordered some breakfast stuffs though virat was not feeling hungry so he skipped his breakfast
"So mr.virat when are we heading at mumbai together ?" Ragini asked that made samrat to split his meal out but somehow he controlled and drank water
"Together ?" Virat asked politely controlling the urge of throwing her out somewhere
"Me , my husband (stares at him) you and samrat ." (stares back at virat )
"Why though ?" Her husband asked
"Shouldn't we have to see his company , honey ?" She asked with her fake loving accent
Virat wanted to sigh heavily as it was so suffocating for him

She blushed , showed she's more lucky
"So what do you think about our deal Mr.chavhan ?" Khanna proceed
"It's final.." virat told by looking away
They became happy and finalized their deal , three days were remain to head back at india ..
After attending the meeting , they reached to their room and virat called Sai in Samrat's absence ..she picked it up without doing delay
"Hi.." she couldn't stop her excitement to hear him
"Hi.." he replied
"How're you now ?" She asked
"What happened to me by the way ?" He asked
"Weren't you mad at me ?" Sai asked
"Not at all..I was just held up in work" Virat denied
"How is it going ?" She asked
"Preety well ...I'm coming tommorow" he lied to see her reaction
"Really ?" She asked by losing control over her excitement
"Nope..just kidding" he chuckled
"You're an absolute jerk." Sai 🙄
"Comin the day after tommorow.." Virat told
"Why didn't you see my texts ?" She asked
"I wanted to hear your voice more than staring at those dry texts." Virat replied
"Oh..really ?" She pressed her lips thin
"Someone is missing me ..I guess " virat teased her
"Missing you ?" She 😏
Yes...I missed you at everything ! Her inner soul screamed
"I love you sai.." Virat's voice felt deep , Sai smiled through her lips
"I know that.." she murmured under her phone
"Can't wait to hear I love you too.." He told and she heard that
"You'll never get to hear that.." Sai teased 🤭😏
"How much you'll stretch yourself Sai ? Someday it is gonna happen for sure ." Virat guaranteed
"Ok , I've to check some mails..we'll talk later" Sai proceed
"Bye .." virat hung up the call , samrat was standing behind his back
"I caught you.." his hands were folded and the sharp look suited with his face
