He scoffed, "No need to thank me! My parents and brother are in Fontaine for the next month, so you can stay for...well, a month."

Running around the bank, you unclipped your vision from your belt and threw it through the window. Jumping through, the broken glass formed small cuts on your arms.
"Oh for fucks sake." You coughed out, seeing that it wasn't only the parlor and bank on fire- but the ENTIRE area.
"Y/N!" You heard someone yell, and you ran towards the voice.

Just as you ran up to Xingqiu on the bridge between the stairwell and bank, a portion of the bridge collapsed right under him.
You didn't catch him.
And like that, you watched as Xingqiu fell into the broken parts of the bridge, and fell to his doom.

"Xingqiu!" You awoke with a scream, eyes snapping open and shooting up from the bed. You felt like you were in the fire again- sweating like crazy and burning from the heat.
For a second you thought Xingqiu's house was on fire- but it was just the heat.
You threw the blanket off your legs, smiling a little as the cold breeze hit you. But you noticed your legs were shaking- did the nightmare hit you that bad?
Of course it did- I just saw Xingqiu die.
You shook your head. No, it was just a nightmare- it wasn't real and it won't ever be real. Just try to sleep again.
You laid your head back down on the pillow.
But your body just refused to sleep.
Sighing, you stood up from the bed. You just needed water, that was it.
You walked around, and saw a table with pictures on it.
A blue haired boy with someone who looked just like him, yet taller and older.
As you look at the picture, it calms you down a bit. Xingqiu's alive and safe. He's in his room, sleeping safely.
Hopefully he was sleeping safely.
You smacked your head, annoyed at yourself for even thinking that. Of course he's safe! Why wouldn't he?

He was in a house full of Harbingers-

Opening the door to his room, you smiled to see a figure in a bed.
Walking into the kitchen and turning on the light, you closed your eyes tightly for a few seconds, then opened them to adjust to the light.
"Y/N?" Someone grumbled, walking into the kitchen.
You yelped at the sudden voice, dropping your glass.
That seemed to fully wake the person who said your name. "What the fuck?" Scaramouche asked, "What's wrong with you?"
"Sorry I'm just...a bit shaken up."
His face softened. "Hey...you know you can talk to me, right?"
You sighed. "My lord...you've been acting a bit differently lately."
"What do you mean?"
"Ever since this morning you refused to let me go anywhere without a bodyguard. Why's that?"
Right...ever since Scaramouche saw that message from Ganyu on your phone, he's been overprotective. Listen, if anything happened to you, Capitano and Dottore would have his head.
He totally wasn't being overprotective for another reason.

He didn't wanna say that he looked at your phone. Yes, he was ur boss, but he didn't wanna overstep your privacy. He knew how mad you would be if he told you he looked.
He just still couldn't believe your parents had burned the bank and parlor. He knew a molotov cocktail was thrown into his and yours office, so were your parents trying to kill you?
He just had to make sure you were safe. Who knew if your parents were still in Liyue?
"Uhm, I guess I'm just worried. If someone did burn the bank down and it wasn't the parlor, then maybe they were targeting you or the Harbingers. Your brother would kill me if I didn't keep you safe." He scoffed.
You nodded slowly, "What are you doing up?"
"I heard some noise and thought someone might've broken in. But, now that I've seen it's just you, I'm going back to sleep." He huffed.
He turned on his heels and left the kitchen, but just before, he asked. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yea." You nodded, and so did he as he left.
You were not fine.
You were not going to able to sleep.
Looking at the clock, you saw that it was 2 in the morning.
You opened the door to Pantalone's room to see him and Signora sleeping peacefully together. Even though how much they loved each other and their constant flurrying was cheesy and sickening, IR made you smile at the sight that he could finally hold her after months of not seeing her. So, instead of going up to Pantalone for some help, you closed the door.
The last thing you wanted to do was stay up and overthink about your entire nightmare and parents, so, like a child, you made your way to where Capitano was sleeping.

Capitano eyes shot open, Dottore grumbling "five more minutes"
Capitano blinked a few times, trying to get the blurriness to go away. "What's up?" He asked tiredly once he saw you.
Your hand was on your forearm and you looked away awkwardly. God, this was embarrassing.
He saw that your eyes were a little glossy and sat up, "What's wrong?"
That seemed to wake up Dottore a little bit more as he slowly sat up, leaning against your brother. "Huh?" He blinked tiredly.
"I had a nightmare and..."
Why is this so embarrassing? You used to do this all the time as a kid!
"And?" Your brother prompted.
"Can I sleep here...?" You murmured.
Not joking, his whole heart burst. For a second, he saw a little girl instead of you standing there.
He smiled. "Of course."
Meanwhile, Dottore's eyes were wide because like- it's been what? 20 years since you asked to sleep in the same room as your brothers or Dottore? IT REMINDED HIM OF WHEN U WERE JUST A LITTLE KID.
Before he could say "Aww", he was pushed out of the bed. "Hey!"
"Move so Y/N can fit." He chuckled.
It was normal for you to also be with Dottore- he was basically your third older brother.
You slipped under the sheets, cuddling close to your brother. "Thank you."
"No problem, lil sis." He smiled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. Dottore also cuddled in close and kissed your forehead, making you sandwiched between them, but you weren't complaining.
Just as you felt like you were about to actually fall asleep, you heard a phone ding many times. You grumbled, "Turn your phone off."
"Oh my archons." Capitano whispered.
"What is it?" Dottore asked, and you opened your eyes out of curiosity.
Both of you flinched at the sudden light, it took you both a moment to read what was on his phone.
Your jaws dropped.
