The trip to the city is quiet as everyone is nervous as although they may have superior weaponry as compared to the Saderans as this is their territory they are fighting on.
Legate Sirius POV
What is going on most of the town has been struck down by sickness. Over 1000 people have died,is the gods against us when we are invaded a plaque swept the lands could it be the gods are angry at us?no I must not let such thoughts get into my head,I have ordered those who are not sick to retreat into the city and those who are sick I ordered them to be killed so that this plaque will not spread,hey is that the iron dragons of the otherworlders, they are back and there are several of them what are they dropping? Are they dropping clouds? What is going on?
The F108 rapier reached the city of herm without any resistance and when they are in target the jets released their payloads of mustard gas onto the city those who are not affected by the new plaque soon fell victim to the mustard gas barrage by the jets of fallout america.Thousands of people were killed, the skin melted off,those who breathe in the gas soon suffered even worst as the gas begin to eat their way out.Hundreds of soldiers fell victim to the gas but the horror has not yet ended as it only had just began,the second wave of F108 rapier come and this time instead of releasing mustard gas it released plasma bombs the city soon have a greenish glow as it is soon is engulfed in plasma a sea of plasma is created.Wooded houses and stone fortification were no match for plasma bombs many were just melted as plasma is extremely hot.
An unknown imperial soldier POV
By the gods!the death toll must have reached the thousands thankfully I am at the city walls as the sea of greenish light did not get to me due to the height of the walls, the first wave of iron dragons released some form of toxic cloud that chocked thousands of people to death,while people are still chocking to death I won't describe the process but their skin literally just melt off like wax.Next is the greenish wave unleashed by the next wave of the iron dragons the places housing the military and the residential area is all gone except for the place where one is holding slaves as the places holding the salves is placed underground.
"Get off the IFV we are going to charge the walls of the city Andrew use your gauss rifle to snipe enemy archers,James do the same thing with your laser rifle.!"Jackson exclaimed
"Yes sir!"Andrew and James said in unison
Both Andrew and James begin to find cover in the environment where they soon found several trees.Both of them decided to climb the tree to help in sniping enemy archers.
Randall Clark saw several 5 imperial soldier charge him at once but he immediately raise up his R91 assault rifle and fired several times at the 5 charging enemy troops killing them instantly.
Jackson fired his all American assault rifle to provide cover for other american troops to assault the city.He saw an enemy archer took aim at Randal Clark, without hesitation he lift up his all American assault rifle and fired 5 shots at the archer,the archer just fell back with blood splatter around where he fell.
Just in several t-51b power armor troops entered the battle they took out the mini nuke launchers and fired 5 mini nukes towards the city gate,the gate to the city is blown wide open.The power armor troops soon rushed in to clear it.
When the power armor troops rushed in to ruins of the city they were immediately assail with a hail of arrows but the arrows just simply bounced of the power armor,the power armor troops then raised their laser gatling guns,the gatling guns then begin to spin the imperial troops that is near the gate or Infront of them is simply turned to ash.Those along the walls soon met the same gruesome fate turned to ash.The power armor troops felt satisfied that the area near the gate is cleared immediately rush in to clear further more of the city.
Seeing the area of the city cleared american infantry charge into the city like a swarm of locusts, Jackson and Randall Clark ran up the stairs leading them to the walls of the city so that they can take out the soldiers manning the wall of the city.
"For the empire!die you otherworldly scum!"a imperial soldier shouted as he charge towards Jackson but Jackson lift up his all American assault rifle and fired a single shot the 5.56 round tore through the soldier armor like it's never even there,the imperial soldier fell down with a pool of blood slowly forming around him.
Jackson then kick his leg to check if the soldier is dead.Satified Jackson smiled and continue to clear the walls of the city,since the walls of the city is connected this made his job even easier.
Several imperial soldiers saw Jackson and they formed up behind their shields and slowly begin to march towards him, Jackson smirk and raised his all American assault rifle and fired round after round of 5.56 rounds at the enemy,the first imperial soldier fell,this shocked their comrades but they soon regroup and begin to move toward only to be met with the same results as the 5.56 round tore through their armor like it's not even there. After firing like 25 shots and killing around 15 imperial troops along the main wall he heard a click in his assault rifle,he grunted so he went into his pip boy and materialize a new magazine with 30 rounds and inserted it into his assault rifle.
Several more american soldiers soon joined Jackson as he then begin direct them clear the wall of the city so they can have the high ground.Clearing the walls of the city only took 14 minutes due to the enemy only using swords and bows but some american troops are hit with arrows but thanks to stimpack the wounds suffered by those arrows immediately healed.
"Clear!"a american soldier shouted.
Legate Sirius POV
Oh my god,our defense against the enemy is just swept away like leaves before a burning wind.Ah,we have captured some of their people here.
I immediately ordered my surviving troops to gather the otherworldly slaves we have captured and march towards them so that if they want to kill us or capture us they must first kill their own people.
"Now the walls of the city is in our hands!set up the machine guns any imperial troops that try to escape, you put a bullet in that their primitive skull you hear me!"Jackson shouted

House after house were cleared.Imperial begin to hide in the ruins of the city to catch american troops off guard but to little effect as most these american troops are veterans of the sino american war where they deal with these in a daily basis.Those who tried this tactics were easily found and a 5.56 round in their heads.
Jackson and Randall Clark soon stood outside a house that is surprising still standing after the plasma bombing, Jackson said"I will throw a grenade, after it explodes both of us rush in and spray the room you hear me."

Jackson took out a grenade,he pulled the pin and threw a grenade into the house.Both Jackson and Randall Clark rushed into the house.Randall Clark and Jackson switch their rifles to full auto,due to it being fully automatic the spray of bullets only lasted several seconds.In the end both of them killed around 10 imperial troops each in the house.
The t-51b power armor troopers went forward tanking arrows fired from the imperials,the imperial soldier will just fire a arrow at the power armor troops only for the arrow to bounce off which soon the attract the power armor soldier attention and get turned to ash via by gatling lasers.
After most of the houses in the city is cleared Jackson soon felt relived until he heard a voice and saw a imperial with a nice armor and decorations more fancy than the other enemy troops he has killed with a knife at a woman neck he then recognize the woman being from america.
"Listen here you savages,I want out this place untouched you hear me any of you tries anything I will slit her throat,so what is your answer going to be?"Legate Sirius proudly exclaimed.
"Surrender now,your lives will be spared or else it will be death."Jackson said
"Ha,you are weak as you care about the weak,this mentality will make you lose as your nation is not ruthless enough"Legate Sirius said.
"Legate,I don't want to kill you today you know."Jackson said
"Let me through or else I will slit her throat!"Legate Sirius sounding irritated.
"Fine,I will let you through,men let them out of the city gates."Jackson said
"Sir,you can't be serious about this, they are taking our people away!"american troops near him said in unison
"Trust me I have a plan."Jackson said
"Legate Sirius, Using civilians as human shields is a cowardly thing to do, surrender or else you may lose your head or turn to ash"Jackson said
"Your nation is weak if you think that way.I have your people here,what you gonna do kill your own people than kill me?"Legate Sirius taunted.
"James you get the Legate men, I will get the Legate himself it seemed they are using american slaves as human shields,we need to report this to high command later.okay deep breaths."Andrew said
Andrew soon controlled his breathing and activated his VATS the world seemed to slow down for him and slowly he chose his target, the head of Legate Sirius.
"My fellow men,we are almost out of here keep your swords at the slaves as they won't harm their people,these people are weak mind-"before Legate Sirius could finish his head burst open like a over ripe fruit,his men bedside him screamed soon several of them turned to ash,others immediately tried to slit the throats of American slaves but were soon shot by snipers with a 50cal sniper rifle or by a laser rifle.
"Now treat the sick with cure curie made and get those american slaves some medical care!"Jackson shouted

Soon american troops begin to search through the rubble looking for civilians or slaves that has been captured, freeing many slaves in the process.Many slaves thanks fallout america for freeing them and in return they tell fallout america more about the land. Civilians of the city were given the cure to the new plaque,soon the inhabitants of the city were grateful of fallout america curing their loved ones of the new plaque but not knowing that fallout america is the one that unleashed the plaque on them. Although many of the civilian population is killed,many did not blame fallout america as armies in their world did the exact same thing and sometimes it will be even worst as the invading army would just enslave everyone at least fallout america gives them medical treatment to heal from their wounds and not enslave them.
Jackson soon ask the city inhabitants to gather near the city gate and spoke"Alright now,this area is under the control of the United States of America,so which means there will be new rules,now these new rules are from now on, no one I repeat no one is allowed to own slaves you got it, anyone caught owning slaves will be punished harshly."
Upon hearing that they will not be able to own any slaves the civilian begin to boo at Jackson with some even begin to throw rocks. Jackson tried to calm the crowd but the crowd did not even listen.Jackson then look at the american troops and gave them a nod
American troops nodded and raised the 50cals stationed at the walls of the city and fired upwards,the sounds of the 50cal machine gun opening fire shut the mouths the civilian population.
"Now behave yourself, listen to the rules we have and I promise you that your lifespan will be increased due to advance medical technology as now you won't be dying of illness you thought you will die off and mothers will have a higher chance of survival in childbirth and not die while giving birth to children."Jackson said
The civilian population soon think about it and they are reminded of a unknown plaque that swept the city,the powers that ruled the city before did not help them infact they killed those who were sick but the otherworlders helped them.
Seeing this, Jackson said"You see, the previous government did not help you at all, infact they tried to kill the sick but we helped you with our medicine and now due to our medicine, sickness once thought to be fatal is now not fatal"
The public soon supported Jackson and allowed their city to be annexed
This soon allowed fallout america to get access to a lake of fresh water which the nation desperately needs to survive. In the end there were over 6000 dead during the battle for the city.
