So some of you might get confused of what this AU is about, what their personalities are like and yadayadayadyada. So read these headcanons I made, that I hope will be helpful in the future chapters.
-dv3 casts are 19 years old in this AU
-thh took 2 years to shoot, dv2 took 1 and 8 months to shoot, ultra despair girls took 1 year and 5 months, while dv3 took only 1 year & 3 months to shoot
-thh plus the future (foundation?) arc waited 3 more years to shoot when thh last started
-same with dv2 (ya know the one where izuru kamakura entered the scene & the future scene thingy i forgot but was mentioned in the anime) , but make it 2 years.
-all in all, danganropa took almost 10 (?) years for its complete shoot.
-order of the shoot; thh→dv2→future thinGy→dv3 (tbh i never played udg so i don't know where to insert it. Help mehh)
-In dv3, korekiyo is the most extroverted person. Ironic because of his role.
-in terms of being friends with other actors, kokichi has more connections since he is really friendly
-kokichi irl is actually really good at lying, but he doesn't tell when he is lying or not unlike him in the game.
-his actual personality is similar to the one in the game/show, but less mean and sarcastic. He's more like the class clown of the group.
-dv3 was kaede's first acting experience and surprisingly, she was good.
-because of kaede's good acting skills hence being a beginner, the director tends to favor her. (No favouritism tho)
-before acting, vlogging her piano experiences was kaede's first sideline.
-other company directors offered kaede other shows but she politely declined them since she felt like dv3 was enough acting expire for her as for now.
-Angie is a really good painter. Her role ultimate artist really fitted her.
- Angie is the most introverted person on set. Since she got the feeling of being left out because of her raise. (Ya know maybe because of her tan skin? Not trying to be racist!)
-but her co-stars never really cared what kind of being Angie was and considered her part of the group. She is in fact one of the most loved by her co-stars.
-K1-B0 (keebo) is actually human. (Not surprised)
-Keebo being human answers kokichi's question of 'do robots have dicks?'
-keebo has to come/ get ready an hour before the other casts since putting up the metal robot costume that surrounds him takes way longer.
-usually 1-3 people help keebo put on his robot costume, and 2 people to help him with his makeup.
-tenko prepared/practiced aikido 5 months before the start of dv3 for her to fit in the role. She had really fun and continued taking aikido classes even after dv3.
-tenko was awarded to be the best female actress last year before she started dv3.
-tenko is feminine and is more like a soft spoken girl irl. But since she was the best (i mean really) playing the act of a feminist who has a somewhat hate relationship towards men (idk how to say this nicely) perfectly. And because of that, it surprised her fans.
-and no— tenko does no go outside calling all the males she see a degenerate. In fact—↓
-tenko and rantaro (+miu) are former co-stars from an adult romance drama with them being the lead (not mature tf). You can say they were both friends when dv3 started.
-speaking of rantaro, the rings on his finger that he wore in the show were given to him by his fans. The makeup and outfit stylists didn't oppose to the idea of him wearing them on set since it really fitted his character.
-rantaro gives charity to (idk where) every year using half of his budget. (Srsly what a nice guy)
-rantaro originally had black hair and one year before dv3, he dyed his hair mid green (turning him to an Avocado)
-speaking of avocados, rantaro despises them. So fans question him why he accepted to be called 'avocado' if he despises them.
-of course his response was 'i think it's ironically cool!'
-shuichi came from a family of rich people. In fact one of his family's company donated a huge sum for fv3 when they knew he participated in it.
-shuichi & kaede (are actually canon... Jk) became a couple just 2 weeks since dv3 started.
-they said they've been friends for months and have been seeing each other secretly before they acted in dv3.
-shuichi and tsumugi are distant relatives. Both never knew they were about to work in the same show and was extremely shock when they just suddenly saw each other on set.
-shuichi once broke a camera that was taping them. It destroyed all the tape recorded and had to reenact them from the beginning.
-the director and the camera man never got angry at him. But the director decided to add more lines than the ones originally written and give them to shuichi as a punishment.
-shuichi was devastated, since he has short term memory.
-like his role in the pregame, he actually idolizes miss kyoko from thh. When he met her on a get together with the other danganropa casts, he asked for a picture with her and she kindly agreed
-Kaede is a close friend of korekiyo (surprisingly) and gonta
-kaede actually has a fear of insects when gonta showed her hisroom full of Arthropods.
-she fainted on the spot, and that scene was captured in gonta's vlog.
-gonta isn't actually an actor, but a well known vlogger. But he eventually joined danganropa when korekiyo and kaede asked him to try it for experience.
-gonta's attitude from both the show and irl never really changed. Except the fact that he laughs too hard.
-Kirumi is an actress well known for her love for manga and light novels. She mentioned in an interview that she once tried to wrote a light novel when she was 15.
-she didn't like writing that much but still liked reading manga and novels.
-Kirumi is very swift when doing household chores, such as washing the dishes, cleaning the house, sweeping the floor, cooking and etc.
-Kirumi came from a poor family with 3 younger brothers and a divorced mother and father. Before she started her job as an actress, she had to do all the things parents do for her little brothers, since her father that they were living with was out all night and day, either finding for part time jobs, or has a small job that is done for like a whole day.
-ryoma despite his size is really good in any kind of sports, not just tennis!
-he came from a family of athletic people, with parents and siblings who all had different sports to play.
-but ryoma wanted to challenge himself and decided to learn all the sports his family plays.
-he now plays six sports in total including tennis; table tennis, chess, volleyball, & and swimming.
-himiko is the baby of the group.
-her co-stars just thought she was very cute and had to be protected at all costs. (Exactly!)
-she and kokichi are being shipped together by the fans since they were like very close behind the camera.
-if tenko, rantaro and miu starred in a show before, then himiko and kokichi did too!
-they also starred in a romance show, a slice of life shoujo one where they had to shoot in a school and had roles as high schoolers. (Even though they practically are or look like high schoolers)
-but they weren't the main couple, they were more like the second couple that gets together as well by the end of the series.
-himiko had to learn 3 months of just making magic tricks for her role.
-to be honest, she didn't really liked it but thought it might be useful for uhm—some other purposes.
-himiko's first kiss is kokichi! both had their first kiss taken on cam since the kiss was an act for the show.
-when the 6 second kiss ended, kokichi wiped himiko's lip with his scarf in a kidding manner.
-both were embarrassed and eventually didn't talk for the whole day.
-maki and kaito— they're dating no cap
-kaimaki is the country's best couple, and have been dating for 2 years straight.
-maki works as a model for any type of clothing, and kaito is an influencer. Both act as a sideline.
-maki and kaito both owned a cat cafe from their own investments. It was a large hit between High Schoolers and hard working adults.
-miu isn't that vulgar like she was on her role.
-miu is a model for different kinds of things, in fact the agency she was in is the richest agency in japan.
-miu's best seller was her modeling a (idk brand) undergarment (bra&panties) (or simply a lingerie)
-she was interviewed in a show she guest in and asked if she felt sexualized the day she was doing a photoshoot for a bikini, but she answered that it didn't bother her and liked what she was doing. She quoted 'as long as there were no perverts or people who body shamed me, i don't feel sexualized at all.'
-miu also started her career as a child star.
-miu and shuichi are childhood friends, there was once a rumour saying that the two got into an arrange marriage when both were just 16, both denied it and said they were just good friends.
-miu and maki once rivaled in a fashion galla 2 years before their entry in dv3. Who won? It was a tie!
-as mentioned before, miu acted with tenko and rantaro in the same romance series as the second female lead.
-I don't have much headcanons about tsumugi since her personalities, likes and dislikes are almost the same in the game. In short I just like the way she is.
-but I do wrote headcanons including her in other danganropa games (which I will be posting soon. So stay tuned)
As for the ships, it's up for you to decide if the obvious↑ pairings will be ships in the near future or not. As for some ships from the other games, I will be adding them soon.
