The day finally came. I thankfully passed all of the test with a 90%. I was nervous but hyped up. Adam rejoined the ducks. He belongs there he needs theme like they need him. Before that we were named Minnesota states champs for 1996! That's fucking amazing!

I was skating to the bench then. POW Cole checked Averman into the boards. Coach was giving Rick such a hard time. That's the price you for being captain and state champs.

We lost but it's ok they played hard and deserved it. We are now the Eden hall Mighty Ducks. How cool is that! The only thing left to do is the dance. I really want to go the dance. Scooter is going with Julie. Everyone has date except me. I was gonna go with Rick but his dad and Coach have been giving him a hard time. I had the perfect idea of asking him in a cute way! I just needed to go the store quickly. I was so excited. Looks like we had the same thing in mind. I ran into someone's cart. Hey what was that for!! Rick?!? Oh Veronica that's some interesting things un your cart. Back at you Rick. I've been meaning to ask you. Wanna go to the dance? I was gonna ask with a poster but yeah sure! I was gonna do the same! Let's ditch these carts and go. I was going to the dance! The number one thing I wanted to do. I already had the dress I wanted on hold for weeks now.
This is gonna be a good night. I can't wait for Friday when I'll be attending the dance! This the moment I've been waiting for. In this world Veronica Holland was moving up. She was becoming a better person and hadn't done drugs in almost three months. I was proud to be myself for once. I had one last person to talk to. It was Adam....

I drove to pick up my dress and then I went home aka the dorms. Rick was sleeping in his dorm. I was still walking to my dorm. I noticed a tie on the door. Ewww!! At least the got a room. I walked over to Rick's dorm. I knocked gently. I could hear his heavy footsteps. Yes how can I help you, Darling? Scooter and could I sleep here? Yes of course get comfortable I need to go the bathroom anyways. Thank you so much I really don't want sleep there after that. No problem. I walked in and got comfortable. I slept so comfortable there. Just the thought of him made me smile. He even woke me up in the middle of the night talking his dream about how pretty I was and that he's gonna marry me someday. He was so cute. We both slept until 9:30. I heard a knock at the door and I couldn't wake him up. I looked through the peephole. Oh shit it was his father. Now I had to wake him up. Rick please wake up your Dad is here. What! Ok uhhhh go hide on the balcony, I'll leave the door open just hop over to Banks and stay there for a little. Ok, is it ok if I ease drop? Yeah just don't make it obvious. I ran to the balcony and hopped over to Banks's balcony where he was sitting. "Veronica what are you doing?" His dad is in the room and I have to hide. Shhhh quite I'm trying to listen! I couldn't hear anything. Then I heard the door slam so loud a flinched and jumped. I went back to Rick's balcony. There he was at the end of the bed, his face was in his hands. I walked to him trying to comfort him. He just slapped my hand away. I didn't want to hurt him so I just stopped and went back to my dorm. What did his dad say? It must have been hurtful to make him cry. I didn't even care at this point I just walked into the dorm and plopped on the bed. Who ever is in here I'm sorry! "Your lucky Julie just left. What's up?" Tom Riley paid a visit and whatever he said made Rick upset enough to slap my hand. "I'm sorry we can go over now to check up on him." Ok yeah we can do that. I watched as Scooter headed towards the door as I stood far behind. How may I help you? "Veronica and I wanted to check up on you. May we come in?" Yeah yeah come on in. Rick may I ask what happened between you and your father? You seemed really upset. He is threatening to send me to a private school in Manhattan. Apparently I'm a disappointment and my brother could do better in their sleep. I'm so sorry to hear is there anything we can do to help? "Rick I've been your friend since kindergarten. Are sure there is nothing we can do?" I really just want to go the dance then possibly still go on a trip to Florida. I'm on the student council board I can ask and say it was requested by board member, Tom Riley. That would mean a lot thank you Veronica. No problem! Now Scott get ready now because knowing you you'll take forever. "I'm already leaving!" Ok great let me make a few phone calls. Hi this Stuco Board member Veronica Holland I was noted that board member Tom Riley. I asked if we could have the Dance later this evening. "Hello Ms. Veronica, if it was noted by a board member then yes of course we could change the date of the dance. I will notify every student about the news!" Thank you so much have a great day bb-bye!
Great news we better start getting ready because we are having the Dance TONIGHT!! Thank you so much Veronica!! I love you so much!! Thanks Rick let me get ready for tonight then so I'll be back around 5, sound good? Yep I'll see you in a little!

I was in my very nice silk dark purple dress with lace flowers on top. I wasn't sure what heels to where so I just wore black heels. Rick was basic and did a normal black and white suit.
Normal Rick just in a suit. He was so cute and perfect. There was on theme to the dance it was just there. After the dance we would finish packing for Florida. We were having a huge family vacation with Rick's family and the Banks family. It was perfect all of our families knew each other and were pretty close. All of us were exited. Rick are you ready? Yeah just let me open the door. I waited outside the door with my body leaning against the door frame. I started to fall back when he opened the door. He was sly and I fell into his arms. How is my darling doing? I'm doing fine and we better getting going because I have a surprise for you. A surprise? Really come on I'm not five. Oh so you don't want the surprise? Wait yes I do want it! That's what I thought. Get your shoes on hurry up. "Veronica? You look gorgeous." I looked back and there they were. All three of my brothers with watery eyes. What's wrong? All three of my brothers had no words and stepped together in unison. They came up to me and hugged me tight. Listen I've gotta get going we'll see you at the dance. I held Rick's hand and tried to walk fast. I lead him to his surprise it was behind the school into the woods. Veronica are you trying to kill me or something? I've watched many movies and this is how one of them gets killed. Is this my last moment? Calm down I'm not going to kill you. I'm leading you to your surprise. Close your eyes and hold my hand tight I don't need you falling down. Ok but please tell me your not gonna kill me. I, Veronica Holland will not kill you. I continued to lead him to his surprise and there we were. In the woods at his surprise I've been planning this for months ever since we started talking and going on dates. Open your eyes! What the hell! You did this? No had ever done anything this nice for me. I'm glad you like it and we should get back soon before it gets dark. How about we stay here a little longer and I smother you with kisses and we have a good old fashion middle school make out. How about we do that in front of my brothers to piss them off and that's how our night will end. Our night will end with us kissing under the bleachers and our sibling finding us under the bleachers. I would love that and let's go run off to the dance before any one notices. I'll carry you this is going to be a night to remember!

It was time for the slow dance. Rick grabbed my hand and started dancing with me. We were right next to all three of my brothers. He quietly whispered in my ear, I love you. My heart melted and I kissed him. I could feel Kris and Karson starting into the back of my head. If you asked me ten years ago where I'd be. I would have said I would be following into my brother's footsteps. I wanted to be the best figure skater in Edina. I had a huge crush on my brothers best friend and my next door neighbor had a crush on me. Today I was the luckiest girl I was with Rick. The man of my dreams was dancing with me! The song soon ended and we ran off towards the bleachers on football field. I promised him that we would kiss under the bleachers and have our siblings finds us like that. It was dark out but the stadium lights were on. The stars were magnificent. I was looking up when he kissed me. Our lips moved in sync. His soft lips were against mine, eyes closed. His hands cupped on my cheeks. I opened my eyes to see if his eyes were closed and they where. We didn't stop not even to breathe. The only that stopped us was when Kris pulled me away from him. Hey why'd you do that for?!?! "We're about to the lantern light! No kissing till you 101 years old!" Ugh I'll be dead by then and I'm not doing the lantern lighting that's for seniors. "That's right we'll I'll see you at home! Good night Rick and no funny business with my sister!" Good night and got it no funny business.

Who knew I would end up marrying Rick Riley. If you had asked me when I was younger, I would've never guessed I would marry Rick. "Do you Veronica Holland take Richard Riley to be your loftily wedded husband?" I do! "Do you Richard Riley take Veronica Holland to be your loftily wedded wife? I do!
You may now kiss the bride!! There was only one thing left how do I tell him I'm pregnant?
