LISA'S POV
I couldn't concentrate all day today, because I have still yet to talk to Chaeyoung. I don't know why it's so hard to just say those simple five words
"I'm breaking up with you" but I can't and now it's messing with my sleep and I hate losing sleep
I rolled over and checked the time, 1:30 AM
"Well might as well get it done and over with"
I grabbed my phone and sent Chaeyoung a text. Hopefully, she won't talk long, because I hate texting or talking for a long period
Me: Hey I need to talk to you sometime tomorrow
Chaeng: Yeah sure? Is everything okay?
Me: Yeah, now I'm getting some sleep to see you tomorrow
Chaeng: Okay I'll see you tomorrow...I love you
I left it at that and put my phone down and turned over to go to sleep, but not without feeling that horrible feeling in my stomach. It's worse than feeling that warm feeling...It was guilt and it sucks
I mean I don't know why I feel guilty, but if I remember what my therapist said when I was younger, about trying to understand what others feel then guilt is, I think the right feeling I feel, is because I liked someone else while still dating her
"Lisa wake up! You're gonna be late!"
Gosh why is she so loud in the morning
"I'm not going to say it again!"
"I'm getting up. Now quit nagging" I said to my mom
"Watch your tone!" She yelled
I checked the time and saw I had about 30 minutes to get ready. I got up and went to the bathroom and on cue income Red
"I still don't see how you know when I'm going to the bathroom you weird dog" Red like usual just laid down until I was finished
I got up flushed the toilet and washed my hands and continued getting dressed
"Since I'm running late can I drive to school?" I asked walking into the kitchen and to my surprise, I was Chaeyoung sitting at the table talking with my dad
Why is she here? And in my house?
"That's not necessary since Chaeng here is kindly taking you today" My mom smiled
"Yeah don't worry Mrs. Manoban I got this" Chaeyoung smiled back
"That's good to hear! Now hurry and get to school"
I mentally sighed and grabbed my backpack and followed Chaeyoung out of the house and got in her car
The drive to school was quiet, which was strange. She pulled into the parking lot and parked the car and turned it off
I was going to get out when I noticed Chaeyoung just sitting there staring in front of her
"Chaeyoung, let's go to class," I said getting out but she stopped me
"No, not yet. I wanna have that talk you wanted she said turning her head and looking at me with a sad expression
I guess I might as well get it over with
"I'm breaking up with you," I said without a second thought getting in the way
Tears slowly streamed down her face and she turned looking straight in front of her again
I felt that guilty feeling again. I have to apologize, but apologies make me uncomfortable. But I'm going to have to do it
"I am sorry. It's just that I don't love you the same way you love me"
She dried her tears and half smiled, "Yeah I know"
Wait she knows?
"I also know that you liked Jennie ever since I first got here and when I carried you to your room the other night and saw crumbled drawings of her on your floor. I mean it was pretty obvious. I didn't see how you didn't notice"
"look I'm truly sorry. If it makes you feel better, I was happy with you it's just that Jennie-"
"Yeah, it's okay. I understand" Chaeyoung said sniffling and smiling. "Look all I care about is your feelings and happiness, so if Jennie makes you feel then I'm happy" she smiled once again
"So are we friends or are you going to beat me up?" I asked
Chaeyoung raised a brow and laughed. "Of course, we're still friends and no I wouldn't beat you up. What made you ask that?"
"I just thought it was something people did"
Chaeyoung laughed loudly. "You're something else Lisa"
We talked a little longer then headed inside. She waved goodbye as she turned a corner heading to her class. I of course showed up late to my art class but didn't get in trouble since Mr. Tag favors me more than anyone else in the class
I walked to the back of the classroom to where my seat was but fell since someone tripped me
"That's what you get teacher's pet," some girl said
"Whatever ugly," I said getting up. Everyone snickered while the girl sat there gasping. I made my way to my seat and took my art supplies out of my bag that is until I noticed the same girl glaring at me
"Stop looking at me" I spat out. She gave me the middle finger and turned around
Some girls like her have no room to be rude especially since they're not very good-looking themselves
I guess that girl was my main focus that hour because when I finished I noticed I drew her or more like a troll version of her
I got up and headed to Mr. Tag's desk to turn in my art and I guess the girl along with other students in the classroom saw my drawing because I heard a few gasps and laughing, but I could care less
"I'm finished now can I be excused for the rest of the hour?" I asked
Mr. Tag looked at my drawings and smiled a bit then looked at me. "Lisa this drawing isn't appropriate, but since you finished before everyone else, I'll go ahead and take it. Mainly because it's hilarious" he said saying the last part under his breath
"Anyways I would like it if you could stay behind after class for a second. I want to have a word with you" he smiled
"Whatever," I said then turned and headed back to my seat but went down a different aisle so the girl won't trip me again
