The next two days of meetings with the generals had been very much the same with Lord Technoblade having a solution to most problems along with you having many other ideas and Aegeus silently sulking in the corner. On occasion, either you or Technoblade would ask Aegeus a question and he would mutter a quick response. He really wasn't much of a talker after you had pinned him to the ground.

The meetings seemed to go fine until day four. Day four was when all hell broke loose, almost literally.

You and Technoblade were standing by the round table, pointing at sections of the map discussing where to place more battalions to guard the area, Aegeus was nowhere to be seen. The meetings had taken place at the same time every day so for him to not show up was odd, yet war awaited no man so you began without him. Ever since your time on the dock, Technoblade had become more relaxed around you causing you to have a better dynamic when planning.

Technoblade was speaking about what he knew of the Piglin's armies since Aegeus wasn't there to tell you when a loud crash was heard from outside the meeting room. The second the both of you heard it, the two of you turned to face the door, hands on the handle of your swords. You turned to look at Technoblade and he slowly nodded at you, a silent agreement to slowly make your way to the possible danger.

Slowly, you crept up to the door, pulling your sword out of its sheath further and further. You gently placed your hand on the door handle, your sword now fully out the sheath, resting in your hand, the enchanted netherite glistening in the sunlight emitting from the windows behind you. You take in a final deep breath before swinging the door open.

Expecting the worst, you lifted your sword only to see Aegeus with his sword pointed at the guard stationed at the door who was now lying on the floor, his sword thrown a few feet away. Once you realised the sight in front of you, you lowered your arm, releasing your breath, not realising you were holding it. Just as you went to speak, Technoblade pushed past you rushing to his partner.

"Aegeus? What has gotten into you?" Technoblade yelled, grabbing the weapon out of Aegeus' hand with ease.

Aegeus looked up at Technoblade, his eyes with black streaks within them and his skin slightly pinker than usual. He was drunk. And a mess. A drunken mess. His clothes were covered in mud and dirt, his belt half falling off him and his bone mask was nowhere to be seen.

"It's her fault. She's made me look like a fool" Aegeus groaned, pointing at you. You rolled your eyes, not surprised by this comment. "She's the fool, not me. She thinks she's so big and strong. She thinks she's better than me. Better than all of us! But she's nothing. She's just a scared little girl who runs at the idea of trouble. No wonder her father told us he is disappointed in her".

You looked at the Piglin in shock. Heat rising to your face as you try and comprehend what he just said. You were used to getting hateful comments from people but no one ever dared mention your father. Especially saying he was disappointed in you. You felt tears growing in your eyes causing your skin to sting and burn at the touch of the water. This was not the way you normally reacted. Your emotions were a mess, you were so good at covering them that this sudden urge to cry caught you off guard.

"Man, fuck you" you mumbled as you put your sword back in its sheath. You looked Aegeus in the eyes and noticed that he was pleased with himself. He was proud of what he said. He was satisfied with the way you reacted.

You shook your head, the pain of the tears rolling down your face getting worse and worse as the crying got heavier. You lifted your hands to wipe the tears away when you realised your skin was fading to a grey from the sudden contact with water.

This was not how you wanted to be seen. So, you ran to the first place you could think of: the training room. You pushed past Aegeus, perhaps a little too hard and knocking the drunk Piglin to the ground and ran through the hallways.

You heard the voice of Technoblade either yelling at Aegeus or trying to talk to you but you could barely hear him. The burning sensation of the tears was getting too painful. You could barely focus on where you were going.

Eventually, you made it to the training room and realised it was full of soldiers and army men. You were about to spin on your heels and leave when you remembered the power you held. You walked a little further into the room and at the top of your lungs yelled "Everyone! Out!" and, as you commanded, everyone began to flood out into the corridors or outdoors.

Once you were sure everyone had left, you walked towards the weapons display and gazed upon the gold tools hanging before you. The gold glistened in the light of the glowstone, it reminded you of Technoblade's jewellery when you were sitting by the lava with him. Your eyes scanned the blunt objects until they landed on an emerald encrusted axe, the handle wrapped in the skin of swine that roamed the nether.

Rage consumed you as unhooked the axe from its stand and admired it. Sharp weapons were banned in the training room as to not harm anyone so the edge of the axe was blunt. The only harm it would cause was a bruise if you were hit but you didn't plan to hit a person with it. Across the room stood multiple mannequins, adorned with cuts and scrapes from people swinging their weapons at it with brute force.

You stumbled towards them, your yellow eyes swirling with emotions as your axe dragged against the floor, creating small sparks flying into the air. If anyone were to see you, they would think you were crazy; your skin a deep grey as the tears continued to roll down your face, anger clearly showing through your eyes as they twitched in anger and your free hand in a tight, clenched fist, your nails digging into the palm of your hand.

You wrapped your free hand around the axes handle, much higher than the other hand and lifted it, preparing for your attack. You took a breath, ready to allow your rage to be let free as you swung your arms with full force at the mannequin, the blade on the axe embedding its self in its hip. With a little wiggling, you pulled it free and hit it again, this time on the other side.

However, each hit was not relieving you as much as you had hoped. So, you began hitting it harder and faster, taking no breaks in between each swing. It was swing after swing but you still weren't satisfied. If anything, you were getting angrier. In all fairness, you should have stopped but you couldn't. Some invisible force was making you attack the poor mannequin over and over with no hesitation.

And you kept swinging, hoping that, at some point, you would be satisfied. But that moment never came. Instead, you began to lose control. Your once yellow eyes began to fade into a deep orange, the crystal on your forehead began to gently glow. You could no longer control your movements and you could barely see. A sort of red mist seemed to cloud your vision. You tried to fight back but failed miserably. You were about to give up and let the rage fully take control when...

"Y/n?" A voice. A familiar monotonous voice. It brought you back. The red mist in your eyes disappeared, your crystal ceased to glow and you could control your movements once again.

You turned to face the owner of the voice who stood in the doorway. Technoblade had one hand resting on the doorframe, the other hand loosely by his side. His cloak was slightly lopsided and his cheeks and tips of his pointed ears were slightly pinker than the rest of him as if he had been running.

What shocked you was the expression on his face. It seemed to be fear or perhaps shock. You wondered if perhaps he had been your eyes change colour and it surprised him until you realised he was looking behind you, not at you.

You followed his gaze to see what he was looking at and the scene made your heart stop. The mannequin that once stood tall before you was now on the ground, completely dismembered, the axe in your hands, glistening in the light.

This may not seem like much but the mannequins had been specifically created using some of the strongest materials from the overworld, made to make sure they didn't break often, and you had just chopped it to bits in seconds with nothing but a blunt axe.

You released your grip on the weapon and let it fall to the ground creating a loud clunk that echoed across the room. You could feel your chest rising and falling at an intense speed as you looked at the polished obsidian body parts spread across the floor.

You turned your entire body to face Technoblade, still having a face of pure shock but now mixed with slight proudness and satisfaction.

"I didn't mean to do that" you explained, entwining your fingers at your waist and pressing your lips into a fine line.

Technoblade stared at you from across the room, concern lightly showing on his face. "Right...I was just coming to check on you cause when you ran off your skin was changing colour? Not really sure what that was about but I'm not gonna ask. Now I see that you are clearly fine, I'll head out" he replied, pointing behind him.

You slowly nodded in response as you picked up the axe and head back over to the weapon display and hooked it back in place. As you did this, Technoblade lingered in the doorway, watching you with furrowed brows.

"Sorry about Aegeus, he becomes an idiot when drunk" Technoblade said scratching the back of his neck, clearly not used to apologising.

"It's alright. I've been through worse"

(A/n,

Here's a slightly longer chapter since I feel bad for not updating this in a while. Schools started again and this is my big year that basically determines how well I'm going to succeed in my future so I'm focusing on that atm but I'll upload when I can.

Once again, very sorry for slow uploads)
