BEFORE the slain of her father, she was just regular adelaide hanlon a quirky and intelligent nine year old girl, with a so far normal childhood and living with her two loving parents. after graduating from the fifth grade, the family moved to new york from virginia. where the both of adelaide parents, elijah and shannon worked as a intern in the starks industry. adelaide had made many friends and acquaintances at her new school and was happily fulfilling her childhood with satisfaction with in it ━━━but that was sixteen years ago.
AFTER shannon joined hydra only just
a little over a year after elijah's death. in
order to keep adelaide somewhat "safe."
what had started out as a loving mother- daughter vacation all the way in europe. shannon sold adelaide to the red room academy, specifically the black widows
progam.
AND at the red room academy is where adelaide javicia hanlon learn to become
a professional, cold blooded, successful assassin and hit woman. and alongside the notorious sisters yelena belova and natasha romanoff, just two fellow black widows, she befriended throughout the course of five years. that's until, she had caught a whip of an accidental exposure to red dust, where the humanity portion
in her started to revive. that's also when
adelaide became hesitant on if she really wanted this life style or not but made a decision to escape, after learning what happens to the girls after the graduation ceremony.
AT fourteen years old, with the help of a few colleagues, adelaide traveled back to the united states, and after deciding that her mother would make no use towards her. adelaide decided to simply runaway to San Francisco, California, where she met the love of her life, shaun and their best friend, katy in highschool.
ELEVEN years later, and life seems to
be going good for adelaide, who is now living in a shared apartment with shaun.
but just as life gets good for the couple
━━━ the similar past they've hid from each other seem to want to ruin that.

i love adi so so much, and i hope
you guys do as well, one thing about
adi though is that kind of like bucky,
she's trying to get out of the mindset
of being the killing machine that she
once was.
also to not want any confusion, there's
a seven / eight year gap between Shang Chi (takes place in 2023/2024) and the legend of the ten rings and Black Widow (takes place in 2016) , since Adi blipped, she's technically twenty-five.
