Dora was running after John and they ran into the confession tree. This is exactly what Dora planned. She wanted Swiper gone, so she could lead John to this tree and be with him. John's movement came to a halt and he turned around seeing Dora shyly smile.
"D-Dora, w-what is th-this-"
Dora walked up to him and kissed his cheek.

They lived happily ever after and Swiper started dating Boots.
