I was now walking towards Divya's class to give her the ring I bought for her.. I was feeling kinda nervous now, I don't know what to do if she doesn't accept this..
Yesterday when I met her near the shop and her cute image is still roaming in my mind.. and how can I forgot the way I reacted not knowing it's her own brother who accompanied her..
Despite all this, the moment she called by name I felt a butterfly race in my stomach.. I thought it happens only for girls but I never expected that I would feel such just when she say my name from her lips..
She's indeed The One For Me!!
I was looking down and walking along with Aarav next to me while I saw a pair of legs infront of me.. not legs, it's a girl standing and I slowly looked up to find the most attractive eyes looking straight at me..
My Divya!!
Shit, she was looking at me and I wasn't even uttering a single word.. do I look like a creep?
I could sence Aarav giggling next to me.. idiot he is!
"Ahh hi Divi", I smiled
"Divya", she said looking aside
"Okay fine, hii Divya", I smiled
"Hi", she said
"Just hi? See how I say hi Divya.. you should also say hi Arjun", I said wanting to listen my name again from her
"Are you here to tell this?", Divya asked
"Umm, well no.. I'm here to give you something", I said
She looked at me confused and I slowly took the ring from my pocket.. I saw her eyes widen and jaw dropped the moment she saw the ring in my hand..
"I.. I bought this for you", I said
"Why?", Divya asked after a moment
"I thought this would suit you.. and I just felt like you would love it as well", I said looking at her
"But.. but why do you even want to gift me anything? We.. we ar'nt even friends", Divya said
"Take it as my friendship hand", I said and I instantly noticed her frowning
"Sorry, I can't accept this.. and, and I need to go", Divya said
She looked at Anu beside her and moved past me.. dammit, now what do I do?
"Suggest idiot", I shouted at Aarav
"Seriously bro? I'm not experienced in all these", Aarav said
I rolled my eyes and I heard a notification sound from my phone.. I picked it from my pocket and saw that Anu had sent me a message..
We have exchanged our numbers previously and she's already my good friend..
"Dear lover boy before you ask me lemmi tell you.. can't help you this time, Divi is already pissed at our professor for giving individual projects just three days prior to the submission date.. so try your luck", Anu messaged
Already pissed!!? Now I'm not surprised that she was carrying that frown throughout.. well, atleast that's not for me, let's consider that's for her professor only..
I sighed and yet for another try I went forward looking for where Divya went now..
I found both of them walking near the corridor, so I quickly ran towards them and stood right infront of Divya..
She looked at me while I was panting a little as I came all the way running looking for her..
I'm used to running, I workout every morning.. but something it happens!!
Divya took out her water bottle from her bag and forwarded to me..
I'm smiled and took the bottle and drank a little and gave it back to her..
"Ahh Divya, I can help you with your project.. what say?", I asked
She widen her eyes at me and looked at Anu who was now looking elsewhere..
"I.. I mean I heard you guys have some project, one of my friend was telling.. so I was asking casually", I said

He wants to give me a ring? As in a ring? No way I'm accepting it.. I know it looks pretty, more precisely it's the one I looked yesterday in that shop..
I was already annoyed and on top him giving me a ring was something I never expected..
I moved away but he being he came again and was asking about my project..
How did he even know? I looked at Anu who looked elsewhere and Arjun told that one of his friend said..
"Thank you.. but I can manage", I said
"Ofcourse you can.. but what if I want to still help", he asked
"And what if I say no?", I asked
"I would be disappointed.. but still I'll try somehow", he said
This guy is next to impossible.. what do I do with him?
"I think I need to go", I said
"Yeah come.. how about we go to library and start working on your project?", He asked
"Oh we are going there only", Anu smiled
Am I missing something? These both seems to be good friends.. already?
"Shall we go?", I asked Anu not bothering Arjun there
But as expected he followed me along with Aarav.. finding a good place I kept my stuff and turned around to look for some books.. but I almost crashed into him as he was standing right behind me..
And for a second that closeness.. that proximity sent me shivers down!!
But he quickly moved a step behind and smiled sheepishly rubbing his nape..
"You sit.. I'll get the books for you, and what's your topic?", He asked
"Here", Anu said giving him the topic she noted
He took that and went aside for the books and I glared at Anu..
"Why did you give him?", I asked Anu
"Don't you want to chill babes? He wants to do it so till then relax", Anu said causally
What do I do with her?
"Ahem", I heard Aarav sitting next to Anu
"And don't you need any help?", Aarav asked her
"Even if I do.. you wouldn't be the person", Anu said
"Ouch!! That hurts darling", Aarav said making a face
"Don't you dare call me darling again", Anu glared
"Guys this is library.. atleast not here", I said before they start a fight
"Exactly Divya, that's the reason I'm talking nice.. ask your friend to do the same", Aarav said
"You..", Anu was saying but calmed down for my glare
This girl really listens to me all the time..
"Anyways it's waste talking to you", Aarav said and sat next to me
"And I don't even wanna stay a minute if you are here", Anu said and walked away
"Anu", I called her but she went away
"It's ok Divya, leave her.. you tell", Aarav asked
"What should I tell?", I asked confused
"Ahh I mean, we haven't spoke till now.. so I was just casually asking", he smiled sheepishly
"Yeah", was all I could say
I mean what should I actually speak? I'm weak when it comes to socializing with people.. I still turn mute with my cousin's also if we are meeting after long.. and these guys are not less than strangers to me now..
"Anu is always like this or is it only with me?", He asked
"She's really good, but at the same time if she doesn't like something then she wouldn't tolerate that at all.. but why do you both always fight?", I asked
"Ask your friend only, what do I even say? The first time we spoke, remember when Arjun was near you.. I don't know what got into her, she out of no where started shouting", he said
"But I enjoy that.. it's kind of fun to irritate her, and I like pulling up these funny not so serious arguments..", he continued
"You do it intentionally?", I asked
"Not always, but may be yes", he smiled
"Not bad", I smiled back
"Here are your required books", I heard Arjun's voice
He got some four books and kept it near me.. he got all these when he doesn't even know which subject it was..?
"You got all of them?", I asked
"Yeah", he smiled wide

What did I even think and volunteered to get the books? I don't even know the subject, which topic it belongs to.. the least I know nothing!!
I found two boys sitting so I went near them hoping they would help me..
"Bro can you please help me to find the required books for this topic?", I asked showing the paper Anu have me
"You don't know what to take?", He asked
"I'm not from this department.. actually.. love issue may be? Please help me", I requested
"Ohh if it's about love then I'm always there to help dude.. chill out, let's see come", he said
Thank god this guy seems to be friendly enough, he came and looking at the topic he started searching for the required books..
"I guess these would be enough.. extra information we can get through Google", he said giving me the books
"Okay thanks dude", I said
"Anytime bro.. all the best", he winked
I turned and saw Anu coming near me..
"Got the books?", She asked
"Yeah finally", I smiled
"Wait, I'll also grab one book.. although I'll do most from Google only, mine is kind of easy unlike divi's", she said
"It's ok I'm here to help her", I smiled wide
Anu was looking for her book while I looked at Divya who's now talking with Aarav.. Aarav? She's talking to him and not me?
What he must be talking about? Anything about me?
"We will go?", I heard Anu
I nodded and went near them and Divya seems to be little surprised that I got the books..
"Did you help him?", Divya asked Anu
"Why would I? He already got the books for you.. he just waited till I took mine", Anu said
"Then how did you? I mean you must not be having any idea about my subjects right?", Divya asked me
"I took help from a few.. now shall we do?", I asked
"Do what?", She asked
"Your project Divya.. let's gather all the information now, so later you can make a proper one with all that", I said
"Oh okay.. I'll do it, thanks for the books", she smiled
"I'll help you, let's do it together", I said
I looked at Aarav and signalled him to get up, but my ever dumb bestie couldn't understand.. so I simply pulled him and sat next to Divya..
"That's ok.. I can do it, thanks", Divya said
"I insist.. let's do it together, we can complete it quick", I said
"But you don't know anything about the subject", she said
"That's ok.. I don't have to also, we are just gathering the information.. I can do that", I said
"You sure? I don't want any mistakes", she said
"Trust me.. we'll do it perfectly", I said
She stayed quite and I smiled coz I already know her answer..
"So it's a yes?", I asked
She just nodded and soon we got engrossed in the work.. a while later I saw and found both Anu and Aarav missing.. what's cooking now?
About an hour later.. we looked at eachother and I see the sparkle in her eyes..
"Thank you Arjun, if not you then I guess this would have taken a lot of time for me to complete.. now that we gathered all the information I can complete this by today night only", Divya smiled
"You don't need to thank me Divya.. it's my duty to be there for you always", I said absent minded
I looked at her and she seems shocked at my answer.. but I'm glad she dint ask anything..
"Where's Anu and Aarav?", She asked
"Umm I don't know.. I was thinking the same actually", I said
Just then I saw them coming all flushed.. why do they look weird and why am I feeling that something happened?
Divya was looking at Anu who was looking elsewhere.. Aarav dint even dare to sit next to Anu and signalled me to come..
Ok I should go now then..
"Ahh ok Divya.. I'll go then, will meet you while leaving today", I said and went away with Aarav
