I was in a park waiting for the taxi I had called to come and pick me up from this awful place. I don't want to see it again, ever
Actually I never had any problems with this park. It was such a beautiful area to breathe some fresh air. But, the person I was with that night made me hate this place cause when I'll pass by there in the future, it will remind me of him, of my ex.
Some moments ago I catched him cheating on me with a blond girl. I can tell she was really pretty. Way prettier than me but that was not the reason to treat me like sh*t. He could had broken up with and not ruining my day, especially this day
My hot tears took the mascara together and rolled down with a slowly pace while I was trying my best not to think about the picture I took with my brain of my ex f*cking another girl.
?: Hello ma lady, sorry I'm late
I heard a voice from behind me. I wiped my tears (and the mascara ofc) and turned back only to see a man with a car waiting for me. But, that was not a taxi.
The man was quite hot, anyone could tell. He had blond hair, blue eyes like ocean and he was way taller than me. Attractive

I was talking obviously for the man I called to come and take me home, the driver of the taxi
?: Uh no, actually yes but no
He saw confusion filled my face and started explaining
?: You talked with my boss in the phone, or should I say with my father, but anyway he couldn't come so he sent me to do his work. My name is Draco
He took his hand out of his jacket pocket to shake hands. Weird. Taxi drivers don't shake hands with the people they pick up
Y/n: Nice to meet you Draco, I'm Y/n and I'm sorry for calling at this time, I know it's very late
Draco: Nah it's okay, I really like late night walks, you know.
Y/n: I agree
I smiled
Draco: Um where would you like to sit? In the behind seats or-?
Y/n: No I'll sit in front
He smiled at my response and opened the door for me, such a gentleman
He started driving. It was quite awkward. I didn't know if I should start a conversation or stay quiet. To make matters better he was the one who broke the silence, but was it pleasent what he said?
Draco: So what could a such a gorgeous lady like you, do alone in the dark right now?
And here we go..
I remembered the reason I was there and started tearing up. I covered my face with my hands for some seconds and then I tried to look away in the window so he couldn't see my face. What a shame!
Draco: Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset y/n. I'm really sorry, if you want not to talk about it, you don't have to.
Ugh, why am I even crying over a BOY?
I wiped my tears decisively and looked up at him while he was looking at me and at the road in front of us at the same time.
I could see he seemed...guilty? But it wasn't him who had to. He just made me think something I didn't want to
Y/n: No it's okay. You don't have to be sorry. It wasn't your fault. It's just that...I had a date tonight in the park and I was so excited to see what my boyfriend had prepared for my birthday and for our 2 years together feast which they are both today, you know, but while I was coming I saw him with another girl and... I think you can understand what was coming up next...
I didn't want to cry. My ex doesn't deserve anything, not my love, not my trust, not my forgiveness, not my tears, anything!
Draco: Oh I'm so sorry darling, I didn't know...by the way happy birthday y/n.
He smiled trying to cheer me up and I can tell that he did it. He made me smile and forget about my ex.
Draco: oh wait, um are you in hurry to go home?
Y/n: not really, why?
Draco: wait you'll see.
He takes a turn on the left...but my house was on the right..
Y/n: where are we going?
He stops the car and he tells me to wait in the car. I was a little nervous. What was going on? We stopped in front of some shops, cinemas, confectioneries, banks etc. There was square there too.
He then came back and he was holding a box?
Draco: Get out of the car
Y/n: What, why? I thought that...are you a murder or something- YOU LIED TO ME, HELP, HEL-
Draco: Oh come on, I'm not a murderer, just follow me.
Y/n: Should I trust you?
Draco: yes darling
He came closer and took one of my hands softly while the other was holding the box. I decided to follow him. We sat in a bench in the square.
Draco: Um it's nothing much but it's still sweet
He opened the box and I saw a little cake written with the words "Happy Birthday". He smiled when he saw that I was surprised.
Y/n: Draco you really didn't have to- you paid something while I need to pay-
Draco: Listen y/n I know we don't know eachother much and that we met today but I know you had a hard day, I can understand it from the way you talk, move and anyway when someone has his birthday he deserves a birthday cake
I was speechless
Y/n: I don't know how to thank you
Draco: Mhmmm maybe by eating but first you need to hear me singing
Y/n: oh no
I laughed
Draco: Happy Birthday to you,

Y/n: Wow, You actually have a good voice. Are you in a band?
Draco: Nope but I play the guitar and sing my own songs
Y/n: You write songs?!? And you play the guitar?! Omg I want to see you one day singing and playing the guitar in front of all the country!!
We laughed. I had a great time. I didn't care about my ex anymore. I didn't care about what time it was. I didn't care about anything. I just wanted to celebrate my birthday and enjoy myself.
We were now in the car going to my home.
Draco: Hey y/n could I have your number, to talk...if you want to of course
Y/n: yeah sure
Draco: thank you cutie. Goodnight and don't think too much about me
He smirked but he was trying to hide a small smile
Y/n: oh don't worry, I wasn't planning to.
We laughed
Y/n: Goodnight Draco, oh wait Draco!!
Draco: what happend?
Y/n: I forgot to pay you, here you g-
Draco: yea forget about it
Y/n: wh-
Draco: Cause it's your birthday and one of my new besties
He smiled
Oh god his smile was perfect.
I ran to him and hugged him. He didn't expect my action but he hugged back after some seconds.
Y/n: Thank you for everything
I whispered to him
Draco: of course ma lady
He kissed my hand and left
I was wrong about the park cause when I'll pass by there in the future, it will remind me of my new friend, Draco <3
