Happy Belated Birthday to our Joonie!💜
I really wanted to post this yesterday but because of some reason I couldn't complete.
This's gonna be short but cute one, I'm really busy but not for namjoonie ;)

I groaned as I rolled back to my nightstand
"This is so fucking annoying!
Insomnia are the worst"
I said to myself grabbing the phone.
I quickly went up to calls, not needing to find that particular person's name as it was already in my recents. I starred at the gadget, more likely at the name
"What if—what if he'd be asleep right now? I definitely don't want to disturb him at this time especially his peaceful sleep"
"But... I can't sleep.. I miss him.... argh whatever, Sorry Joon"
I dialed his number waiting for him to answer
But sadly he didn't
I furrowed my lips.. I felt upset.. well, I am facing this problem of not getting sleep on time to put in right words, insomnia. It's been difficult to sleep lately, especially at night. The doctor has advised me to rest as much possible so that it can recover. My boyfriend, Namjoon has helped me and took so much care of me from the past weeks. He's been awake the full night just to speak or sleep on call with me, He missed his few volleyball games with his friends just to stay with me. He definitely loves me so much and I am and always will be thankful for that. He did spend his time with me before this and spoilt me with his love but now he's taking extra care though I keep telling him it's very normal and fine condition.
My thoughts jerked up when I heard the ring echoing in the room. I quickly jolted to up to see Namjoon calling. My heartbeat fastened, I don't know but he still gives me that feeling, he still has that effect on me. I smiled super wide. I felt at ease listening to his beautiful voice
"Joooooon"
"Y/NNN!! darling I'm so sorry I couldn't answer your calls, I was peeing"
"Weren't you asleep?"
"I? no, no, not at all. I was just peeing otherwise I was awake"
Just by hearing the tone of his speaking, I understood he was asleep. His voice use to become heavy and he use to clear his throat often only when he woke up from sleep
"I'm sorry joonie"
"Hey! Why are you sorry? For what?"
"You had to wake up from your peaceful sleep because of me, again. I ruined your sleep, again."
"Don't say sorry my dear. I'm here for you anytime you want. And my sleep wasn't so slumber. You are more important than sleep. I was just dreaming of you, thank god you called"
I chuckled, earning a giggle back from the other side
"So? Not able to sleep again?"
"yeah" I whispered
"Y/N should we do something about it like changing the doctor or something?"
"No Namjoon, it's fine. Yesterday I slept well, today I slept in the afternoon for 17 minutes 33 seconds so now I can't sleep. It will eventually get better. Things take time to get better and to heal"
"Okay, as long as you are fine"
"I really miss you!" I sweetly said to him
"I know I miss you so much more"
"I miss your arms, how I wish to be in them while you tightly embraced me"
"Awww, I know. I wish to hug you too!"
He said
I love how he always used softness and so much love in his voice while talking to me
I smiled remembering those times, we met 2 days ago but still missing him was like the thing that use to happen even when we just met an hour ago
"Hey by the way, you are going to the game tomorrow right?"
"Yes I am or do you want me to come over?"
"No, I just asked to make sure that you aren't missing on it"
"Haha, no I am not"
After a minute or two silence I hear car engine starting sounds
"Yo where are you?" I asked him
"Huh? I? I am in bed, at my house"
"So where are those car engine noises?"
"I am near my bed Y/N and my window is open, someone might be going out with his car, whatever"
I hummed, later on some conversations happen we were almost talking for 20 mins. But while that, I was hearing some car horn sounds too. I shrugged it but still I wanted to ask him
"Those car horns! Who is that person behind it?? It's probably making the whole neighborhood sick"
"Yeah, it's down only that's why. It's irritating I know"
"Y/N, Can I ask you a favour?" Namjoon suddenly asked
"Uh yes?"
"Would you please come near the doorway"
"Ah— o-okay Why? What happened"
"Don't speak, just come down"
I slipped out of my warm covers and sprinted down. I took the cardigan from the hanger dresser and opened the door to meet with a pair of eyes that I found very attractive. Hair messy, face red because of the cold weather outside. He had a muffler and a beanie on. It was Namjoon in his regular home clothes and a jacket standing right in front of me. I felt so happy. So so content! and surprised at the same time
I started to run towards him near the gate, as the cold breezes fanned my face. I hugged him, bringing him as much close as possible.
"Is this real? Heck, how are you even here?"
"Y-YN can w-we go inside a-and talk.. it's ch-illing h-ere"
"Yes Yes!!! Sorry"
I made sure to close the door shit. As soon as I turned back, I jumped in Namjoon's arms while he caught me by my hips. I, suffocating both of us in the tightest hug. I caressed his soft hair
"Oh my gosh Joon, I'm so happy I get to meet you!!! But I'm surprised.. it's 2 am! How are you here? I mean we were just talking! When did you leave your house?"
"Oh oh! Chill! I knew when you sounded sad and off. You missed me and I missed you so I said why not just visit you then. I immediately got up and rode here. Plus you couldn't sleep so I chose that it would be better to come to you"
I starred at him. I felt emotional! How can this man love me so much?? He's so precious and beautiful by heart! I love him to death. I feel so grateful to have him in my life, I literally need nothing else
"Thank you so,so,so,so much baby. Sorry I troubled you a lot"
"Anything for you my girl! After all you are the only one I have to keep happy for the rest of my life. I love you so much"
"Awhh Namjoon! You're making me so emo"
"So you missed my arms! I see, now you can be in my arms! I'll cuddle you to sleep. Let's have a goodnight's sleep darling"
He carried me bridal style to my bedroom where he stumbled upon one stair and I laughed on the amount of sleepiness that was seen during that time
He set me on the bed and I crawled up to his chest under the covers. We mingled our legs together and I happily took his icy cool scent in
Both of their heartbeats were fast. After so many years of being together they would still give each other that feeling and it would never not happen
"My heartbeat is fast"
"My heartbeat is fast"
Both of them said in unison
"It's because of you"
"It's because of you"
That happened again and they burst out laughing
"Thank you for the world and everything you've given me Joon"
"And I'll cannot be thankful for all you've done and you've made it possible in our relationship Y/N"
Namjoon placed a sweet kiss on Y/N lips and before they knew, they dozed off. Y/N often use to sleep when she would be in her most familiar arms, clearly Namjoon. After that incident Y/N's respect for Namjoon grew even more and they continued to love each other more than yesterday and less than tomorrow
And eventually, Namjoon helped Y/N curing the insomnia completely later on.
