Chapter 44
Birthday
Alli's Perspective
I woke up feeling the best I've ever had. It was my birthday and I was spending
with Keaton except he wasn't next to me in bed. I got out of bed and went down
the stairs. There was no one there. I rounded the corner. I felt a pair of
strong arms wrap around me. "Happy Birthday baby," a deep husky voice said.
Keaton. "Mmmmm," I hummed. "So what do you want to do birthday girl?" "Eat," I
laughed. "Good because I cooked this amazing breakfast for you," Keaton said,
leading me into the kitchen. "Okay tell me what you think," he said as he laid
the first plate in front of me. It was French toast with strawberries on it with
a glass of orange juice and it looked amazing. I took a bite. I stayed silent
knowing it would drive Keaton crazy. "Well.." He prodded. I waited until
finally, "It's good but it could use a bit more sugar next time babe." Keaton's
face fell. "Kidding!" I laughed. "It was very good baby." Keaton let out a sigh
of relief and pulled me into him. "I don't know if you should get your birthday
presents missy." "Really?" "Yes," he mumbled before kissing my forehead.
Keaton's Perspective
After Alli finished eating I took her to the beach. We were laughing the whole
time to the beach and I've never been happier. Alli ran into the waves. "Hey, I
chased after her. I caught up to her and picked her up from behind spinning her
in my arms. She let a shriek. "I have a surprise for you." "What?" "I've already
said too much." "Keaton!" She playfully hit me. "No Alli I really shouldn't."
She lunged at me but I backed away and ran. "Keaton!" She yelled. "Gotta catch
me first," I purposefully fell so she could catch up. As soon as I got up from
the sand she jumped onto my back. "Good girl," I whispered into her hair.
"What's my surprise?" She mumbled. "Come here," I took her hand and led her
under the pier. "Oh my god. Keaton so I really get to use this?" "Of course
baby. Do you remember how to do it?" I took her back to the waves and helped her
get on the surf board. She actually remembered how to do it and got or pretty
good. After spending the entire day at the beach, we walked around the pier just
talking.
Alli's Perspective
Keaton threw me against the wall. "Ready for you last gift," he mumbled. "Always
am," I said back. Keaton lunged at my lips and attacked them, kissing me
passionately. He picked me up and laid me on the bed, laying on top of me. "Did
you have a good birthday," he bit his lip, teasing me. "It was the best," I
mumbled, trying to take off his shirt. Keaton finally gave up and let me have
him. When we were done he collapsed next to me. "Happy Birthday Alli. I love
you." "I love you too Keats."
