Dana: Are you coming soon?
Me: I'm on my way
My mom and I pulled up to the dance studio and saw Dana sitting on the bench outside on his phone. "It's about time you showed up! We have Amanda Moore coming in today."
Right. Amanda Moore. The best and the worst dance instructor ever. Great at teaching, horrible for her personality and attitude. If you fall or make one mistake then you are done. Her top will blow off and there is a big chance you will run out of the room in tears.
I took a deep breath and walked into the room with Dana. The first thing we heard were shouts that were easily recognized to be coming from Amanda, "C'mon people you gotta try harder, you all know what I say! You gotta dance til you break!" Her motto. It was all over Los Angeles. Everyone at the studio even had at least a t-shirt that said it.
Everyone says that she is crazy. "You two. Come here and improvise an interpretive dance for these snails. " Amanda pointed at Dana and I and we rushed to the floor.
The music began and we started to move with the beat. It felt so good to be dancing with Dana again. As the song came to an end, the two of us were so close to each other that I could feel the heat radiating off of him. We just stood there staring at each to her for a solid minute until Amanda cleared her throat.
"Really, that was okay. You two take a break and I'll call you back in about ten minutes."
The bend outside the studio has always been our favorite spot to take a break and just hang out. Today seemed a little unusual sitting on the bench. Dana has not stopped looking at me since i sat down.
I soon had enough courage inside of me to ask what was up. "Why do you keep staring at me like that?"
He shrugged his shoulders and took my hand into his own two and said,"Have I ever told you before how beautiful you are?"
