And typical of a stark my uncle was throwing a party for finally getting back Lokis sceptre
"NAT!" I shouted running into the common room
"What?" She looked over her shoulder at me.
"Where did you put the bag with my dress?" I asked
"Which dress?" She replied.
Pepper and Nat had taken me shopping last week for new clothes and we had gotten a few dresses, why? I'm not entirely sure
"The one with the pockets" I said shyly now seeing Bucky and Steve
"It's on the bottom shelf in your walk in" she chuckled
"Thanks" I replied and walked back to my room
"Looking very nice Hal" Tony put an arm around my shoulder when he spotted me talking to Bucky
"Thanks uncle. Where's Pep?" I questioned
"She has a meeting and wouldn't let me drag her out of it" he smiled sadly
"Oh" I said
She's been really busy working her ass of these past few months, she claims that she's catching up on the work Tony always neglected. But in his defence he did do a good job, but then again I had helped. Yeah, little 10 year old Hailey had helped find ways for Tony's speeches to always sound amazing
"I gotta have some of that" one of the veterans held his glass forward to Thor's special flask if Asgardian alcohol
"No no no. See this was aged for a thousand years in a barrel built from Romflons fleet. It is not meant for mortal men" Thor told him pouring his own and Steves
I was happy with my pumpkin juice that had a coke label to make me fit in
"Neither was Omaha beach Blondie, stop trying to scare us. C'mon" another old man said
"Alright" Thor took his shot glass and poured some in
The party was over and all that was left was the team, and now we're just enjoying each other's company
"But it's a trick" Clint said spinning drumsticks
"No it's much more than that" Thor chuckled handing Steve his flask
I had a bottle of butterbeer, Tony had gone to the wizarding street of New York, where mum used to go and refilled my cupboard of wizarding snacks
"So who ever be worth shall haveth the power. Whatever man, it's a trick" Clint said making me laugh
"Well please be my guest" Thor held a hand to his hammer
"Really?" Clint asked
"Yeah" Thor smiled
I watched amused as Clint got up and went to the famous weapon
"Oh this is gonna be good" rhodey said
"Clint you've had a tough week, we won't hold it against you if you can't get it up" Tony added and we all laughed
"You know I've seen this before" Clint said to Thor and grabbed the handle and strained to pull it off the table
"I dont know how you do it man" Clint laughed
"Smell the silent judgement?" Tony asked and I chuckled taking a drink
"Please, Stark by all means" Clint offered
Tony stood cleaning his throat and unbuttoned his jacket
I hooted and Bucky clapped bedside me as everyone else did
"I'm never one to shrink from a challenge. It's physics" Tony said wrapping his hand on the wrap
"Physics?" I laughed
"So if I lift it I then rule Asgard?" Tony asked getting ready
"Yes" Thor nodded
"I will be re-instituting Primanoda" Tony said and pulled I barked a laugh when it didn't move
"I'll be right back" he left
He came back with his suit glove, and tried to lift it, so then Rhodey up with his suit glove and tried to help
"Are you even pulling?" Rhodey asked
"Are you on my team?" Tony asked back
"Just represent. Pull" rhodey said
"Okay. Let's go" Tony replied
Neither of them could do it
I chuckled and avoided a playful snack to the head when my Uncle sat down again
Bruce went next, that was hilarious. Poor thing tried to Hulk out, but just stayed a man shouting with his arms flared. With everyone trying to not laugh
"Whoop go Steve" I cheered the Captain
I watched in disguised smile as I saw the hammer move briefly, the same shock on Thor's face
"Nothing" Steve let go
"Nope" Thor laughed
"Bucky?" Thor asked
I patted my new friends shoulder as he got up
I smiled at him encouragingly as he took grip off the hammer and pulled but it didn't move
"That's so heavy" Bucky chuckled and sat back down
"Tough luck, can't have it all Sargent" I teased him earning a shove
"Nat?" Bruce asked the spy
"Widow?" Tony asked
"No that's not a question I need answered" she replied and leaned back.
"Hal?" Tony asked me instead
"Thor?" I smirked
The god sighed and nodded
I smiled and bounced over to the magical hammer
"Can I use magic?" I asked lifting my wand
"No" Thor laughed
"That would be cheating Munshkin" Tony smiled
"Fine" I tucked my wand away
I put my hand on the Handle and tugged with all my strength. It moved, and I dropped it to the floor with a shriek
"I didn't do that" I said wide eyed
Nobody spoke for a second
"Knew you would be worthy little one. A fine heart and mind." Thor smiled kindly
"Thanks?" I replied unsure
"All the difference to the would be king. But it's rigged" Tony said getting another drink with Rhodey and Clint
"Bet your ass" Clint said
"Steve, he said a bad language word" hill pointed to Clint
"Did you tell everyone about that?" Steve looked at Tony
"The handles been printed. Like whoever carries Thor's fingerprints is the literal translation" Tony said
"Yes, a very very interesting theory. I have a simpler one, you're all not worthy" Thor lifted the hammer and flipped it
And we all laughed again
"Except Hailey" Loki pointed out
"She's got magic though" Steve pointed out
"That or I'm worthy" I laughed smiling at Loki as he arrived
Loki had been pardoned from Asgard, well that's a lie, he came here to help fight with Thor and he didn't go back to his cell as he was supposed to. From what Tony's told me, Loki has to go back to Asgard in a few days for a trial
But for now I was enjoying the fun with the mischievous god as he taught me new pranks and tricks
I looked behind us as I heard a voice. Then everyone else heard
"No, how could you be worthy? You're all killers" The robot asked
"Stark?" Steve said
Tony flicked on his hologram screen to fix this via Jarvis
I stood up as well, and pulled my wand from my back pocket, holding it pointed forward like I was taught
I may or may not have been training extra outside of Dumbledores lessons. I may or may not have taken an advanced DADA book from the restricted section with Harry's invisibility clock
"I'm sorry I was asleep. I was a dream. I was tangled, and the noise. And the strings. I had to kill the other guy, he was a good guy" the robot said, it sounded confused
"You killed someone?" Steve asked
"That wouldn't have been my first call. But down in the real world were faced with ugly choices" the robot replied
"Who sent you?" Loki asked
"I see a suit of armor around the world" the robot projected Tony's voice
"Ultron" Bruce said
"In the flesh. Well, not yet. Not this crysolis" Ultron answered
"But I'm ready. I'm on a mission" he then said
I looked to Tony, confused out of my mind. He was typing on his holoscreen to get through to Jarvis but he wasn't able to
"What mission?" Natasha asked
"Peace in our time" Ultron replied
And just like that five or six of the Iron Legion burst through the walls
Steve kicked up the table but was thrown backwards, both Rhodey and Tony slid down a level, Clint was shot into a shelf and hid, Natasha and Bruce hid behind the bar, Hill was shooting and I'm pretty sure Dr.Cho was hiding behind the piano. Thor and Loki were back to back fighting the same bot
I ducked down behind the sofa and Bucky fought of the one above us
I shrieked when it fell on me but I quickly stood and ran out of the way to hide behind a pillar
Once I was hidden I began to shoot spells at the robots and put shields around anyone I saw being hurt
While I took down one bot, the team took down the others.
"Hailey what are you doing?" Natasha shouted at me
'HELPING!' I shouted back holding onto dear life by stabbing my electrified fingers into the bots neck and finding the wires
The bot finally fell, and Tony copied what I had done
But I fell too, and me being clever, fell straight on the sofa we had all been on
"Cap" Clint shouted and threw the shield over, Steve caught it, and in the same motion bashed it into the last bot
"That was dramatic. I'm sorry I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to evolve?" Ultron paced
"Look at these...these puppets." he picked up the fallen bot
"There's only one path to peace, the avengers extinction" he said
He didn't say anything else as Thor threw his hammer destroying it.

"All our work is gone. Ultron cleared it out and used the internet as an escape hatch" Bruce said
"Ultron" Steve mumbled
"He's been in everything. Files. Surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other" I told them, sending a worried glance to my uncle
"He's in your files, in the internet. What if he tries to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodey asked holding an ice pack to his arm
"Nuclear codes" Hill looked up from her nail care
"Nuclear codes" rhodey nodded
"Look we got to make some calls, assuming we still can" he said
I sighed, closing my eyes and resting my head on the closest shoulder which happened to be Bucky, tiredness catching up to me. It was like 3 in the morning, party lasted longer than the 12 o'clock finish
Worst party ever
"Nukes. He said he wanted us dead" Natasha pointed out
"He didn't say dead, he said extinct" Steve said loudly
"He also said he killed somebody" I muttered
"There wasn't anyone else in the building" Hill replied
"Yes there was" Tony said
I opened my eyes to see him projecting a clearly broken and destroyed Jarvis
"No" I whispered seeing my friend ruined like that
"This is insane" Bruce stepped to it
"Jarvis was the first line of defense. He would've shut Ultron down, it makes sense" Steve said
"No. Ultron could've dissimulated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This is...rage" Bruce corrected the Captain
I stood up straight as Thor marched in and grabbed Tony by the throat
"Well it's going around" Bucky muttered
"THOR!" I shouted and ran to the demi god and tried to pull his much stronger arm down to free my uncle
"Come on use your words buddy" Tony struggled to say
"Oh I have more than enough words to describe you Stark" Thor said
"Loki, make him stop" I shouted at the green god with wide eyes
"I can't. And he's right, if he hadn't taken my staff and meddled none of this would've happened" Loki said back
"Thor, legion in the air?" Steve stepped forward and Thor let Tony go
Who I grabbed under the arm to support
"The trail went cold about a hundred miles out but it's headed north" Thor answered
"And it has my scepter" Loki added
"Now we have to retrieve it again" Thor said annoyed
"Genie is out of that bottle. He cleared his presence of Ultron" Nat sighed
"I don't understand. You built this program, whys it trying to kill us?" Dr.Cho asked looking at the broken bots
I looked at Bucky, and sighed as we both looked to Steve for a solution. We might be avengers but unlike everyone else we're still new to the whole save the world.
The silent room snapped as Tony began to chuckle. I internally groaned
"You think this is funny?" Loki asked the laughing man
"No. It's probably not, right? Is it so terrible? Is it so- it is. " Tony replied chuckling to himself still
"This could've been avoided if you didn't play with something you didn't-" Thor stepped forward again
"No. You don't understand. It is funny. Its a hoot that you don't get why we need this" Tony retaliated
"Tony, maybe this might not be the time" Bruce tried to call his science bro back
"Really? That's it? You just roll over, show your belly every time somebody snarls" Tony turned to him
I just closed my eyes and rested my head on the wall behind me again. I don't want to be racist, but sometimes muggles were somewhat predictable, the steams just blows straight off of them
"Only when I've created a murder bot" the scientist replied
"We didn't. We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?" I heard him say
"Well you did something right. And you did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to be different from SHIELD" Steve said
"Anyone remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole? Saved New York" Tony asked
The horrible image of my uncle falling through the sky flashed on my mind
"No it's never come up. Nope never heard that" Rhodey joked and I smiled softly
"Recall that! A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing three hundred feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day. But that up there that's....that's the endgame, how you guys planning on beating that? " Tony said
I looked at Loki and saw him deflate slightly, he never did get over the fact he had been controlled by the mind stone by his captor, whose name he could never speak
"Together" Steve answered
"We'll lose" Tony stepped to him
"Then we'll do that together too" steve replied
"Thor's right. Ultron's calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The worlds a big place, start making it smaller." Steve said
I leaned away from the wall
"Hailey, can you use your magic to try track him?" Steve asked me
"I'm not so sure Steve. Ultron, he's not a person. My magic isn't a tracker thing, it's....magic" I say
"Try at least" he smiled and left

I landed gently walking in behind Steve as we approached Ultron. I was tasked with fighting the twins and the twins alone, especially the girl since my magic matched hers, sort of
"Stark hes a sickness" Ultron gagged
"Oh junior, your gonna break your old mans heart" Tony said as he landed in front of me
"If I have to" Ultron replied
"Nobody has to break anything" Thor said
I lifted my wand up at the twins behind the robot
"Clearly you haven't ever made an omelette" Ultron replied to the god
"He beat me by one second" Tony looked behind at me and I smiled
"Ah this is funny Mr.Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like alltops?" The platinum blonde stepped forward
"This was never my life" Tony said
"You can still walk away from this" Steve tried to convince the twins
"No we will." the girl replied
"I know you've suffered" Steve tried again
"Ugh" Ultron gagged again
"Captain America. Gods rigorous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth but-" the robot said
"You don't need to do this" I tried holding my voice stronger than I felt
"The little witch yes. You are a curious one. There's no information on real witches anywhere, it's like you don't exist. But you little Stark are special" Ultron looked at me, but Tony blocked his view of me, for which I was grateful
"If you believe in peace then let us keep it" Loki stepped forward
"I think you're confusing peace, with quiet" the robot dejected
"Uhuh. What's the vibranium for?" Tony said
"I'm glad you asked that, because I want to take this time to explain my evil plan" Ultron replied and used some gravity pull in his metal hand to pull Tony to him and shot lasers sending him into a wall
"TONY!" I shouted sending a spell to shoot Ultron off of him, but it hit a wall
The two robot people began to fight.
Robots attacked Steve and Thor.
I watched Thor get pushed back by the speedster, and I watched the girl leave, that's when I started.
I shot spells I've only ever read about, smashing the little mini Ultrons
"HAILEY YOURE A WITCH GO AFTER THE GIRL" Steve shouted at me
I nodded and sprinted off
A guy, one of Klaus' men tried to stop me
"Hi there" I smiled sweetly
"A kid?" He asked as he stopped
"Yeah funny that" I smirked and threw a stupify spell at him sending him into a wall
"Have caution, the girl will try to manipulate your mind. However I am mighty " I heard Thor say and I chuckled
"Hi there" I smiled as Speedy Mc.Speedster Pietro landed in the ditch beside me, Mljnoir beside him
"Not a good plan" I picked up the hammer and threw it up and it returned to Thor
"You can't stop us" Pietro told me as he stood up
"No, and maybe you're right. But we'll sure as hell try" I blocked his path
"That is the plan? Just stop. You like your uncle, he is a killer?" he asked with his thick accent
"I don't make the plans sadly or else we'd already have won. Tony means well, he was just lost, what happened to you wasn't his fault. I understand, I do" I held my hands out, wandless for now
"You don't. You can't help" he said and punched at me
The hit was for my stomach, I might have these powers, doesn't mean I'm a master at them. But I did manage to make some sort of barrier to protect my exposed stomach
"How don't I?" I asked
"You haven't lost your family because of a person who wanted power" he grumbled wiping the blood from his lip
"Trust me I do" I replied the image of my mother saying she loved me before she died with her body shielding me, and the last memory I have of my father leaving our home.
I sighed as Pietro ran away, I'd tried to convince him. I'll just find the Wanda girl
I turned and she was right in front of me
"Wanda" I said my eyes wide
"You have an interesting head" she said and shot red mist at me
But my blue shield protected me from her power.
I stared at my chest where the magic had bounced off of me, and back to her
"Yeah, magic doesn't always work. Especially that of an infinity stone. 'Specially since I have it from birth" I smiled innocently seeing her face of shock
"Like I told your brother, I can help you. Just let me help" I said softly taking a step to her
"No!" She shouted and shot me with more red mist
I grunted at the shock of such brute power. I've heard of that, I read it in a book of witches. One word on my mind before it clouded. Scarlett Witch. And she disappeared
I wanted to see the capability of her powers , so I let my mind clouded with the nightmare Wanda inflicted on me
I walked forward, the room was cold and dark. I could see my breath in front of me and with each step I felt my body become stiff.
My hands glowed purple as always, but it felt, forced. As if I had no control on them
The more I stepped into the room I saw what was in front of me
I saw two windows.
On the left, was Hogwarts, but it was in ruins, I saw my friends fighting for their lives, they all looked so grown up. I saw Freddie and George. Hermione and Ron cuddled on a pile of rocks. And Harry in Hagrid's arms
"It's not real" I whispered backing away from the window
I saw Remus fall down dead. Fred fell dead. My dad? He disappeared.
A bald snake man stepped into my sight and the image turned to fire
"No. They're all safe, it's not real." I repeated rubbing my numb hands up my arms
'You know it's true' I heard a voice
I spun on my heels but whinced at the pain.
The next window glowed white and an image of people disappearing showed.
It flashed and showed a destroyed and fiery field. My uncle on his knees, he looked weird, like he was burned
"Stop this. Please!" I begged
I fell backwards into a wall my legs not working, I could barely pull my legs up to my chest, but I did so with a scream
"No it's not true. It's not. They're all fine. Make it go away. Not real. No. No no" I told myself in a panic
"Hailey" the voice said
"No" I replied
'Hailey' it said again
"No you're not true" I shouted at the voice
I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my arm. I looked and saw blood, the red flashed in my eyes and the projection disappeared
And in front of me knelt my uncle
I gasped and leaped forward into his arms. Crying into his chest as i clung to his shirt
"I didn't mean to" I cried
"Hailey you're okay, it was just a trick" he whispered softly
"Don't do it. Please don't do it." I looked up with red eyes at the man
"CAP!" Tony shouted over his shoulder
"Promise me you won't do it" I begged
"I promise, okay Hailey calm down" he said softly
I froze and looked back at him
"I need to tell Fred. He needs to know" I nodded my head
"They can't go. Tony don't let them come" I panicked seeing my dead boyfriend, cousin and uncle
"Tony please don't let them come" I sobbed
"Oh god" cap muttered when he walked over
"I found her like this. I dont know what to do, the girl messed with her mind" Tony replied as I sobbed into his AC/DC shirt
"I'll take her to the jet, Barton has a place he says" cap said
I looked at the Captain
"They can't go Steve. Don't let them go" I cried up at him as he knelt down too
"It's alright Hailey." He said softly
I whimpered as he lifted me from Tony's arms, carrying me bridal style
"No! No Tony! You said you won't go!" I shouted reaching for my uncle
"I'm here. It's okay" he joined my side
"She sure did a number on her huh?" Cap asked the man
I just stared dead ahead thinking of my family, my hand gripping Tony's
"I've only ever seen her like this twice before. The first was when her mum died, and neither I or Remus her other uncle, could calm her. And the second time she woke me up with this blood curtling scream, it took me three hours to calm her down. She kept rambling about dont do it and don't let them go" Tony answered his eyes full of worry
"Tony don't do it. You can't" I looked at him
"Don't let them in. Can't let them back. Don't lose- no no no!" I squirmed in caps arms as he walked
"I see what you mean. What do we do?" Cap asked trying to hold me still in his arms
"There's a sedative in the jet in case of this she can take" Tony said

I shook my head to look at the farm we landed at. It was nice here, quiet, the house was cute, and there were green fields and an old fashioned barn
I'd woken up from my drug sleep Tony and cap put me under. The memories flashing in my mind, but I knew they weren't real. It's all Wandas magic. Imma throw her through a wall
I looked at Tony, the same thoughts going through our minds. Where the hell are we?
"What is this place?" Thor asked
"Safehouse?" Tony guessed
"Whose?" I asked my uncle while he held an arm around my waist
We all followed Clint inside the house,
"Honey? I'm home" Clint called out and a very pregnant woman walked around the corner holding kids drawings. She stopped to look at us, shock on her face.
I smiled at her, confused and scared, yet I smiled
"Hi, we have company. Sorry I didn't call ahead" Clint told her and she kissed him
"This is an agent of some kind" Tony said quickly looking at Thor and me
"Gentlemen, Hailey. This is Laura" Clint said
"I know all of your names" Laura smiled
I looked at my uncle, he looked confused as well
"Oh, incoming" Clint bent down as small feet ran over
My shock peaked as two kids ran in, and jumped on Clint, "these are smaller agents" Tony pointed at the kids and I chuckled
"Did you bring Aunty Nat?" The little girl asked
I watched with a small smile as Natasha hugged her and went to the woman
"Why don't you hug her and find out" Natasha hugged the girl
"Sorry for barging in on you" Steve apologized
"Yeah we would've called ahead, but we were busy having no idea you existed" Tony added before I back handed his stomach
"Yeah well Fury helped me set it up when I joined. Kept it off SHIELD files. I'd like to keep it that way. I figured it's a good place to lay low" Clint looked at us
I smiled and nodded looking at his cute kids
My attention was turned to the ground as I heard a snap and crack. Thor had accidentally stepped on a Lego house. A small smile pulled on my lips as he kicked it under the coffee table
The little girl walked over and looked up at Thor and then at me.
Toast popped and Thor stormed out, and Steve followed him
Mrs.Barton led Nat and I to a spare room, one we'd share
"Thank you Mrs.Barton" I smiled gratefully
"Call me Laura" she smiled kindly and I nodded

"Ultron took you folks out of the scene to buy himself more time. My contact says he's building something." Fury said
"What about Ultron himself?" Steve asked
I smiled as little Lila handed Natasha a painting of a butterfly, she turned to me and shyly handed me one of a big cat
My heart swelled with joy as I took the painting and she ran off
"Well, hes easy to track, hes everywhere. The guy's multiplying faster than a catholic rabbit. SHIELD doesn't help us get an idea on any of his plans though" fury joked
I looked at Tony
"Still going after launch codes?" Tony asked playing darts
"Yes he is. But he's not making any headway" fury nodded
"I got passed the Pentagons firewall when I was in high school on a dare" Stark stopped
"I did it at age 10, with a little help" I raised my hand proudly gaining a smile from my uncle and Nat, Steve gave me a concerned smile
"Well I contacted our friends at the Nexus Offat" fury continued
"Nexus?" Stevie asked
"It's the world internet hub hostel, every bite of data flows through there. " I answered
"So what they say?" Clint asked doing dishes
"He's fixated on the missiles, but the codes are constantly changing" fury said
"By whom?" Tony asked his nose a clear miss from a bullseye from Clint
"Party's unknown" fury said
I raised my brows at that, how can't they figure that out?
"We have an ally?" Nat asked
"Ultron has an enemy. That's not the same thing. But I'd pay folding money to know who it was" fury told her
"I might have to visit Oslo. Find out unknown" Tony leaned on the frame
"Well good talk, but I was hoping when I saw you, you'd have a bit more than that" Nat said
"I do. I have you" he motioned to the team
I smiled awkwardly, I was still the newest Avenger only recently being introduced as such
"Back in the day I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. You kids had all the tech you could dream of. Now here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit and our will to save the world. Ultron says the Avengers are the only thing between him and his mission. And whether he admits it or not, the mission is global destruction. All this, laid in a grave. So stand. Out-wit the platinum bastard" He said
"Steve doesn't like that kinda talk" Natasha smirked
I chuckled, I love that joke
"You know what Romanoff" Steve tried and failed to be mad at her
"So what does he want?" Fury sat down
"To become better. Better than us" Bucky said beside me
"He keeps building bodies" Steve added
"Person bodies. He wants a biological for speaking body. He keeps coming back to it" Tony added too
"You two did a great job programming him to project the human race as incredibly frail" Natasha said
"They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultrons going to evolve" Bruce said looking at the butterfly painting
"How?" Fury asked
"Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?" Bruce asked
And then it clicked in my head. Ultron wants the vibranium to make a human body, so he'll need Cho's tissue regeneration cradle
"Fuck" I whispered under my breath, only Nat heard since I was by her side, and she realised too
The sun was just rising as we took off from the Barton farm

I along with Banner was dropped at the tower, the two of us not getting involved in the fight yet
While we waited I wrote a quick letter to Remus and Fred

So I may or may not have somehow gotten involved in more Avengers business, and I might have to go fight an army of robots now.
I know what you're gonna say, I can't fight I'm only a kid, ya I know. BUT in my defence I am technically an avenger since I helped with New York and I helped make the Iron Man. So I have earned my role
Just wanted to tell you that I'm coming home after the fight, most likely. But also that I've been invited to the Weasleys for the last two weeks of summer. So I'll have a month with you.

Hi, I miss you. A lot has happened since my last letter, that being my uncle has built (on accident) a killer robot who wants to destroy the world and us. And I may have to go fight an army of robots. So that's fun.

I sent the letters away with Perry and made my way to the lab
I looked up when I heard footsteps, and put my wand down.
"Anything on Nat?" Bruce asked as Tony walked in
"Haven't heard, but she's alive or Ultron would rub it in our faces" Tony replied
"This things sealed tight" Clint said as he jumped off the cradle, the three of us had been trying to pry it open. And I'd blasted it with how many spells
"We're gonna have to access the program, breaking it down from within" Bruce said
I nodded, this thing is dangerous. But it held an infinity stone, the mind stone.
"Is there any chance Natasha might've left you a message outside of the internet, old school spy stuff?" I asked the spy
"There's some nets I can cast. Yeah, I'll find her" Clint nodded and walked off
"D-do you mine if I go for a nap on the sofa?" I asked the two men
"Sure go nap kiddo. We'll wake you if we need you" Tony side hugged me as he pushed me toward the labs sofa
I lay down, threw the blanket over me, and was asleep in seconds
I heard shouting, and sleepily woke up.
I trudged into the lab again just as Thor jumped on the cradle and blasted it with lightning, charging the disconnected box "WAIT!" Bruce shouted
My eyes widened as I watched, worried now. Thor had powered the Android carrying the mind stone. This won't end well, will it?
When the white light faded we all looked around, as the cradle burst and a red figure jumped out in a crouch
I shrieked and put a blue doom around me
It then jumped at Thor who threw it behind him. The Android went flying to the window, staring out. I jumped a portal landing beside Thor as we all watched cautiously.
The robot flew to us, a grey suit covering him
"Im sorry, that was odd. Thank you" the red robot man landed and nodded his head at Thor, as a yellow cape grew on his back
"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve asked
I stared at the android. I felt, drawn to him. I tilted my head as I inspected him, the power, I felt it from the stone.
The mind stone
"I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all life, and at its center is that" Thor pointed to the stone
"What, the gem?" Bruce asked
"It's the mind stone" I sighed
"One of the six infinity stones" Loki added
I snapped my head to the green god. When did he show up, I thought he went to Asgard after he dropped Bucky with Sam
"Their power is unparallel in its destructive capabilities" Thor finished
"Then why would you bri-?" Steve asked
"Stark is right" Thor interrupted him
"Oh it's definitely the end to times" Bruce muttered
"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron" Thor said
"Not alone." the vision walked forward
"Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked
"We...reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to make something new" Tony stuttered
"I think I've had my fill of new" I muttered as my hands flowed purple in anxiety
"You think I'm a child of Ultron?" The vision asked
"You're not?" Steve questioned
"I'm not Ultron. I'm not Jarvis either. I am...." The Android started
"I looked in your head and saw inhalation " Wanda stepped forward
"Look again" the vision told her
"Her seal of approval means Jack to me" Clint said
"How about mine?" I asked lifting a blue flame in one hand and my wand in the other
"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the mind stone. And nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side.." I stepped forward
"Is it? Are you? On our side " Steve asked
"I don't think it's that simple" Vision said
"Well it better get real simple, real soon" Clint grumbled
"I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all" vision looked around
"What's he waiting for?" Steve asked
"You" vision replied
"Where?" Bruce asked
"Sokovia. He's got Nat there too" Clint said
"If we're wrong about you. If you're the monster Ultron made you to be....." Bruce stepped to the Android
"What will you do?" Vision asked and nobody spoke
"I don't want to kill Ultron. He is unique, and he is in pain. And that pain will roll over the world, and so he must be destroyed. Every form that he has built, every trace of him on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the other." Vision said and I glanced to the twins
Wanda and I made eye contact. And I felt drawn to her as well
"Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and I'm not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me, but we need to go" The Vision picked up the hammer and everyone was speechless
"Right. Well done" Thor patted Tony and walked off
I looked at my uncle and back to Wanda. I screamed as I jumped on her and tried to claw at her hair. But Steve caught me mid jump, and stopped me
"LET ME GO STEVE! SHE GAVE ME IT AGAIN!" I screamed kicking my legs wildly
"HAILEY SIT STILL!" He shouted back pushing me into the sofa so I couldn't move
"NO! SHE REMINDED ME! IT TOOK YEARS TO GO AWAY! NOW ITS BACK" I screamed
"Hailey it's alright. It's not real" Tony walked over
"I. Don't. Care" I said with poison
"LET ME GIVE HER A NIGHTMARE!" I screamed at Wanda.
"They're on our side" Steve said
"Why?" I looked at him
"Because they realise we're right" Tony said
I went slack and stopped moving. I studied the twins, they looked scared, but that they wanted to help.
I've always trusted my gut in finding the good people, and it told me now that they were good.
I sighed. "Alright let go" I said softly to the two men
They looked at each Other and let me go slowly.
I stood up and walked to the super twins. They were only a few years older than me, no more than 5 years.
"I'm trusting you. Help us, and you'll always have my help" I said offering a hand shake
"Help?" Pietro asked skeptically
"I gather that you don't like Starks, but sometimes having a smart magical person in your corner can help" I said
"You are like me" Wanda said a red energy ball in her hand
"Not exactly" I flicked my wrist and my blueish purple magic made swirls around my wand
"Three minutes. Get what you need." Steve told us all and everyone dashed off to get more gear
I walked over to Tony, Steve and Bruce. I had put my dads old leather jacket on, the one that mum wore all the time. It was a black leather, but it had a Sirius Black feel to it. Along with a Gryffindor red T-shirt and my black avenger cat suit trousers Tony had made specifically for me.
They were so comfy and allowed me to fight and land on my knees which had padding. And it had a wand holder on one thigh, with a dagger holder on the other thigh.
"No way we all get through this. If even one tin soldier is left standing, we've lost. There's gonna be blood on the floor" Tony said
"I got no plans tomorrow night" steve joked
"I get first crack to the big guy. Iron man is the one he's waiting for" Tony said
"That's true, he hates you the most" Vision walked past
I smiled as I fixed my boots next
"Hailey stay here" Tony put a hand on my shoulder as we headed to the quintet
"Tony don-" I stopped him
"No, I'm your guardian. I don't want you to get hurt, I don't care if you have powers or not. You're still my niece and my only family, it's too dangerous. You don't have proper training" he said
I just sighed
"I'm coming whatever you say. I'll just teleport there if I must, I have powers Tony. And I'm destined to stop two wars, one muggle, one wizarding. So I'm doing everything to stop them" I said strongly
"And the training. Well, Dumbledore has been giving me magic training for my powers, I've read a hundred new DADA spells that all work for me, and I may or may not have been training with Nat all summer" I said
"I'm not surprised. You're too much like your mum Hals" he smiled
"I know" I grinned and walked off

"I'm sorry" Wanda walked over to me in the jet
"You're half forgiven" I reply with a small smile
"Can I ask what your vision was? It was confusing" she asked
I sighed
"Ever since I was small I got nightmares. The same two played over and over. I knew of Iron Man before he was real. I saw Hogwarts before I went. I've always had nightmares of everyone dying. I haven't had one in nearly two years. But you brought it back" I explained
"I'm sorry Hailey. I'm not sure what to say, I know you have magic like me" she said making a red fireball and I mimicked with a blue one
"Friends?" She asked
"Friends" I replied and we shook hands our two fireballs becoming purple
"Ultron knows we're coming, odds are, we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority, is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace. And that's not gonna happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters, that we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him, it's about whether he's right. " Steve gave the speech on the jet to Sokovia
Wanda was using her powers to give people images and making them leave
I was using my powers to help guide people down the right way to leave. Running around directing people toward Steve
I spotted a car with a small family smiling and pointed back to the middle of the city at Tony flying around. I smiled, everyone loves the Iron Man
They'd be safe enough here, everyone was heading towards the edge of the city, hopefully far enough away from the fight.
The street was swarmed with the remaining two hundred of my section of the city
I heard shouts so I ran over, and saw ultron's robot clones climbing out of the sewer
"Run! Go now!" I shouted as I turned into a girl and grabbed my daggers
I expertly threw two daggers at the robots heads, and they fell over, I walked the weapon back to my hands as I spun and slashed at two more robots.
"You know you're an ugly piece of machinery" I said to the bot as it fell from my hand
More bots came, I sighed and threw blue energy balls, destroying them
Screams filled the air as the ground shook, and began to lift away
People in fear ran to the crack and jumped to the other side.
I saw the ground beginning to crack
"Get back from the ledge. Go to that building!" I pointed them towards a hall away from danger
They all ran, and I fought off some more robots that we're trying to shoot.
One shot nearly hit my side by thanks to my infinity magic it didn't hurt
"STEVE! STEVE THEYRE EVERYWHERE!" I panicked into my ear piece.
"Find me Hailey!" He replied
So I started on a run to the super soldier
"Stark you worry about bringing the city down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed...walk it off" Steve said
'Very inspiring there Captain. Thank you' I said to the whole team
"STEVE!" I shouted as I joined him
"Are you okay?" He asked worries bending down to my level
"I'm okay" I nodded quickly
"Hailey, I can't babysit and do my job. So if you're too scared that's okay, go hide there and let Tony know. Or, you can fight, I know it's scary, trust me I do. But it's your choice. Just know you are an avenger regardless" he said a hand on my shoulder
"I'm scared" I whispered as I threw an energy ball at a bot
"I know kiddo. But you gotta be brave. Do it for your parents and your friends" he said and threw his shield
"I got this." I nodded
He let go and started to fight bots
I took a deep breath and began to fight.
I spun around wand in hand, shouting curses and spells like an Auror or something.
"I SHOULD SO BE AN AUROR RATHER THAN A HEALER!" I called to Cap
"I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS!" He shouted back
"Dark wizard catcher!" I replied
"HELL NO" I heard Tony in my ear
"It'll be fun Tony" I laugh throwing an energy ball
I jumped to avoid being shot, and I ended in a forward roll back to my feet
"I think I'm getting better!" I called to Steve
"Yeah" he laughed
I kept fighting, magic infinity spells tearing them apart, or blowing them up. My magic magic sending spell after spell to freeze, melt, explode and destroy them too
I saw Steve hanging over the ledge of a bridge, pulling a woman up, I saw one bot go forward it, but I thought he'd be alright, so instead I charged more of the bots coming for me
"Hey Nat, glad to see you're okay" I shouted to the ginger as she electrocuted the bots
"Huh huh" she replied
I laughed and jumped over Steve who flipped under me, and I landed on one bot, as I grabbed another in my magic, crushing its middle.
I threw a fire ball at a flying one, which Thor then shot at
I spun in a circle, nearly falling over a stone, sending a controlled power wall, it didn't hit skin, only the bots metal
Loki and Bucky then paired up to use their skills, daggers and bullets. Lovely right?
"Where's you come from?" I asked joining their trio
"We teleported" Loki smiled
"How?" I asked confused
"We had a jet" Bucky pointed to one of the jets
I got jumped on by a couple too many bots, so I made my shield around me for protection as Bucky shot around me
The same time Thor cause an oil truck to blow up, but it was near people, nobody did anything so I did "Thor. You're bothering me" Ultron swooped in and took the god
I held my hands out and held the fire in a shield away from the civilians. A purpley, blue glow casing my hands as I made the fire disappear
"I didn't know you could do that" Steve shouted at me
"Yeah well we never usually practice with bombs at school now do we?" I shouted back as I drop kicked a bot and stabbed it in the head with a dagger
"Meh" he said and bashed a bot behind me and went to Natasha's aid
The bots died down, so while Steve, Bucky and Natasha looked around, I lay down on the ground, panting
Gods was I tired. I've been summoning shields and energy balls for the last twenty minutes non stop, and I'm only 15
My powers don't usually make me tired, but I've not had a break
"Tired?" Loki offered me a hand up
"Too much power" I replied he nodded in understanding, he had the same problem. Everyone with powers does
I smiled in relief as an old helicarrier floated up over the clouds
"Fury you son of a bitch" Steve said
"Oh ho ho, you kiss your mother with that mouth" I chuckled at what Fury replied with
"This is SHIELD?" Pietro asked
"This is what SHIELD is supposed to be" Steve told him
"This isn't so bad" the speedster said
"Not so bad at all" I nodded in agreement taking Buckys hand in mine for comfort. I could tell he needed it
"You good?" He asked and I nodded
What I really want right now is my bed, and some house elf made soup
"Let's load em up" Steve ordered
I sighed and let go of Bucky, turning to round up the people
"Right there's a life boat coming, everyone follow me!" I shouted in my very limited Sokovian as I walked into the hall
Cheered surrounded me, making me laugh as I led the people outside where a boat was landing
I herded everyone on, and I helped carry one man with an injured leg.
"Thank you" he smiled as he sat down, I nodded and ran off to search the buildings
I found three small families, and we all ran down again.
I got everyone on, and the team looked at me
"I'll check the others. Get this ship back to the carrier" I told the guy, he nodded and closed the path and they took off
"One section down" I tapped my ear as I sighed and sprinted back to the others
They had nearly everyone onboard as well
"Come on Hailey. We need to protect the church" Nat called to me
I nodded and jumped in her car
"Romanoff. You, Hailey and Banner better not be playing hide the Zucchini" Tony joked
"Relax shell head. Not all of us can fly" she replied
"We're coming uncle" I lay my head back
We had the whole team together now
"Is that the best you can do?" Thor shouted at Ultron
My jaw literally dropped as Ultrons army of robots ran under him
"You had to ask" Steve said sarcastically
"Thor I'm tired. I want butterbeer" I whined gaining a chuckle from Wanda who stood beside me
"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted, all of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?" Ultron said
"Like the old man said, together" Tony answered
And the army charged
Thor bashed a few towards me, and I tore them apart them.
I threw daggers and spells
I ducked from Vision flying over my head.
I threw spells all around me, my hand wet with sweat I nearly dropped my wand at one point.
So I tucked it into my pocket quickly and used my powers
My hands raised and I threw the bots around like they were play things
My powers looked much like Wanda's i realised, the only difference was mine was blueish-purple rather than her red
When it ended, I stopped and stood panting,
"They're trying to leave the city" Thor announced from outside, so i walked over
"We can't let them. Not even one" Tony said
I rolled my shoulders, and looked at Wanda
She nodded and I ran after Steve and the boys
"So slow" Bucky said as Clint walked out a car
"Yeah well we had to take the roads" Clint retaliated
Natasha walked off to calm down the Hulk, and the three of us walked to the ship
A woman behind us was shouting for her son "we were in the market" I heard
Clint sighed and got up
'Clint wait. I'll do it' I stood up
"It's okay Hailey. You sit" he told me
"Shut up old man, you sit on your arse" I said in a thick English accent
"I got ya" I smiled at the little boy as I lifted him up in my arms
I heard the whistle of guns and I looked up seeing a jet
I threw a purple bubble forcefield around us. I saw Pietro nearly being shot, so I extended the shield and he fell into the bubble as the bullets bounced off of us
"You didn't see that coming" I said and smiled
"Nope. And thank you, you were right. A stark with magic is helpful" he smiled back
When Ultron left, the two of us walked back to the carrier. And I handed the little boy to his mother with a smile
"Hailey, you're bleeding" Steve motioned to my side
I looked down and saw the blood on my hand from my side
"Oh" I realised grabbing a cloth and pressing hard
"You're bleeding" I told him And threw a cloth at him so he could put pressure on the wound
"You saved Pietro" Wanda smiled at me as Vision left
"Meh, he's fine" I smiled weakly through half closed eyes as I tried to sleep on big brother Steve
"No. But he is alive" she smiled
I nodded and leaned into Steve more
"Okay. I'm just gonna....gonna sleep for a bit" I slurred as I slumped into Steve who just about caught me before I fell again

The next day I woke up just after 1, I found Steve and Tony talking.
"Hey, we were about to come get you. Thor and Loki are leaving to Asgard" Steve told me
"Oh. Okay, I'm coming" I followed Steve
"Aren't you coming?" I asked Bucky
"I already said bye" he replied and headed to the training room
"The rules have changed" Steve said as the four of us walked down the corridor
"We're dealing with something new" Tony added
"The Vision is artificial intelligence" Steve continued
"A machine" I offer the men
"So it's not like it's a person" Tony nods
"Right, different rules for us" Steve agreed
"Nice guy, artificial" Tony kept going, a smile on my face, a laugh was trying to escape
"Thank you" Steve said
"If he can wield then hammer, he can keep the mind stone" Thor stopped them
"It's safe with the Vision. And these days safe is in short supply" I told the God
"But if you out the hammer in an elevator...." Steve asked
"It would still go up" Tony pointed
"Elevators not worthy" Steve said looking at something
"I'm going to miss these little talks of ours" Thor clapped Tony on the shoulder
"Not if you don't leave" Tony suggested
"We have no choice. The mind stone is the fourth of the infinity stones to show up in the last few years. It's not a coincidence" Thor explained
"Someone is playing an intricate game and has made pawns of us. Once all these pieces are in position" Loki added
"Triple Yahtzee?" Tony asked
"You think you can find out what's coming?" Steve asked
"I do" Thor nodded
"Besides from those two, there's nothing that can't be explained. " he then said patting Tonys chest and pointing to me
Thor nodded but I stopped him
"Wait wait, I get a hug first." I jumped forward throwing an arm around each of the brothers
Loki chuckled and put a gentle hand on my back to hug me back
"Come visit okay" I whispered to my green god
"I will" he smiled and let me go
I stepped back and they disappeared in the colourful bifrost
"Those men have no regard for lawn maintenance" Tony whined at the scorched grass
"I'm going to miss them though. And you're going to miss me. There's gonna be a lot of meant full tears" Tony said clicking his keys so his orange sports car drove to us
"I will miss you Tony" Steve told him
"Yeah? Well it's time for me to tap out. Maybe I should take a page from Barton's book, build Pepper and Hal a farm and hope nobody blows it up" The billionaire asked
"The simple life" I smiled
"You'll get there one day" Tony looked at him, and I smiled
"I don't know, a family, stability. A guy wanted all that when I went into the ice 75 years ago. I think somebody else came out" Steve said
"Eh, im not too fussed. I've plenty of time" I shrugged with a grin
"You alright?" Tony asked opening his car door
"I'm home" Steve smiled looking around at the compound
I was going home with Tony, who was going to train me himself this week, Nat was also coming for a week before I went to stay with Remus for the rest of the summer
