To put it simple, it's a pet regressor who goes into the headspace of a puppy! Either because it's their favorite/comfort animal, a puppy's behavior fits into what makes them the most comfortable, etc.
Common traits of a puppy regressor include:
- Enjoys sfw physical contact (cuddling, headpats, bellyrubs, etc.)
- Curious, playful, silly
- Liking puppy toys/beds/collars
- Enjoying being taught/doing tricks and/or being energetic + rebellious
Others have more specific kind of puppy personalitys they like to behave as. Such as:

*It's also been noticed that mostly all puppy regressors regress easier with a caregiver/owner or feel safer with one.
