(Short chapter, just didn't want to keep y'all waiting lol.)
Two days later-
"Ary you have to eat something." I said
"Ma I had some fruit I promise I'm good." I debated
"You haven't ate a full meal since you woke up, they're not gonna let you out of here until you're strong enough so eat." I said and she sighed before taking the box out my hand
Ary woke up about two days ago, and thank god that she's actually doing good. No broken bones, only minor fractures and one serious issue.
The reck caused her spine to shift, the doctors said it's not in too bad of a position and she'll be fine without surgery, but to prevent it getting worse as she gets older the surgery would be best.
"Thank you." I told her and she raised her eyebrows before taking a bite
"When can I leave ?" She asked
"Girl I hate hospitals as much as you do, whenever they give you the ok." I said and she sighed
"What happened ? And why didn't you go straight home when I asked ?" I asked and she looked down
"Shawn had responded and he took me to where he was and explained his situation a little more, when we left everything was fine and then the next minute we were tumbling down a hill.. blacking in and out was the last thing that I remember." She said and I furrowed my eyebrows
"Did you see the car ?" I asked
"Black Escalade, it was dark so there was all I saw." She said and I nodded before slightly hugging her
"I'm just glad that you're okay." I sighed
"I'm good, but are you okay ?" She asked and I looked at her
"Why wouldn't I be ?"
"Your eyes are so puffy and droopy, you don't look like you're doing so good." She said and I shook my head
"I'm fine." I slightly laughed
"Yea I knew how to say that and out a front on too ma." She shrugged
"But you have a lot more on your plate, you're pregnant, look at how swollen your feet is." She said and I looked down At them.
Interrupting my next sentence the door opened and in walked Brian, Ary, and Zay with get well balloons and a bunch of more
"That gift shop was expensive, you owe me exactly $50.75" Brian said and we both started laughing at they dunbasses.
Everybody group hugged her for s while before sitting the stuff down and Zay sat flowers by her bedside
"I know you musty so I threw some of this in there." Zay said before pulling up a stick of deodorant and she smacked her teeth before laughing
"Don't do my baby." I laughed
"You need some some too ?" He asked before tossing me the stick and I flipped him off before he came and sat beside me on the couch
"How you feeling ?" Brian asked
"I'm okay, my head just hurts and I keep falling asleep because of this medicine." She said and he nodded
"Glad to see you doing good girl." Ari said before touching her hair
"Yea have y'all talked to my daddy ?" She asked and Brian looked at me
"Yeah, he loves you and he wants you to stay safe." Brian said and she nodded
We all talked for a little while longer and she eventually fell asleep off the meds before Brian and Ari decided to go handle business.
"Ight I love you." Brian told me before hugging me and Ari did the same
"Please be safe and think smart." I said and he nodded
"Always sis, but ima handle this shit I promise." He said and I sighed
Ari rubbed my belly before poking her bottom lip out
"Girl you're starting to spread." She chuckled and I rolled my eyes
"Bye y'all." I said and they laughed
"Make sure she get home safe." Brian told Zay and he nodded
"I got you." He said before they left and we sat in silence
"You've been on yo feet a little too much let me see." He said before signaling for my foot and I put it up before laughing
"It's just swollen from having shoes on too long." I said

I rested my head back before closing my heavy eyes and I eventually dozed off.

A few hours later
I woke up before stretching and Zay was gone. I immediately checked the time before hopping up seeing several of missed calls from Aaliyah.
Shit I forgot I had to pick her up from school...
I jumped up before sliding my shoes back on and on the process of me leaving I tried calling but she didn't answer
After arriving to the school it was damn near empty, but there was a few kids still outside so I called her again but she wasn't answering causing me to get worried.
I layed my head on the steering wheel before taking a deep breath and rolling the window down to see the administrator walking towards my car.
"Who are you picking up ?" He asked
"Aaliyah Brown?" I said and he furrowed his eyebrows
"I saw her go through the pickup line already ." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows
"Is everything good ?" He asked
"Yea yea it's fine."'I said before rolling my window back up and pulling off to the side before trying to call her again
I drove home to see if she was there but once I got home the house was dead empty
I couldn't call Brian and Ari because I knew they were busy so I immediately called Zay and he answered
"I overslept and forgot about Liyah and she isn't answering the phone, her location isn't showing, and I don't know who the hell could've-
"Kay calm down she's okay." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows
"I had to get Amoura anyways because her car was in the shop so I picked Liyah up too." He said
"Zay- you can't do that." I sighed
"I'm sorry, you was tired and I didn't wanna wake you. I told her to text you and tell you that I had got her but I guess she didn't." He said
"Where she at ?" I asked
"At my house with Amoura, I ran to run club errands but I'm on my way back now-
I hung up the phone before pulling out and driving towards his house. Once I got there he still wasn't back but I got out anyways and knocked on the door
Amoura answered before raising her eyebrows and clearing her throat
"Hey Kay." She said with her eyes low as hell and I furrowed my eyes brows
"Where's Liyah ?" I asked
"She's upstairs taking a nap, um come in I'll go get her." She said before stepping aside and letting me in before I watched her go upstairs
As I waited I saw Zay's car pull in the driveway and he came in before looking at me."
"You good ?" Ha asked and I nodded without making eye contact
"Look my bad if I scared you, I just didn't wanna leave her waiting or for her to get in the car with somebody she wasn't safe with." He said and I looked at him
"That's when you tell me. You scared the fuck out of me, them two is the two that I will never play about." I said before looking at him and he sighed
"Kay I'm not saying that you don't, I understand y'all have been through enough but I was just looking out." He said
"We good, we don't need all that." I said before Liyah started to come down the steps
She looked me in the eyes and I tilted my head at her and Zay furrowed his eyebrows
"Yea let's go." I said before grabbing her up roughly by her shirt and she started laughing
"Ayo why you being so hostile...?" She asked calmly and Zay shook his head
"Are you fucking serious Amoura ?" Zay asked and she sighed
"I'm sorry Kay." She said before looking at me
"Nah what I allow you to do you don't allow other to do what the fuck ?" He asked her and she looked down
I grabbed Liyah again and Zay sighed
"Kay-"
"Don't touch me." I said before moving out of his grip and pulling Aaliyah to the car
Once we were in I took a deep breath before laying my head on the steering wheel
"Ma-
"Shut up." I interrupted and she looked at me shocked
"I'm done being the understanding mom, you just won't fucking do right and I am already fucking trying Liyah." I said.
"Why didn't you answer the phone ?" I asked
"It was dead."
"Give it to me." I said before holding my hand out and she sighed before reaching in her pocket and Giving it to me.
"You'll get it back in the mornings before school, after school hand it back and you better not ask for it or to leave the house ever, you will get it back when I feel like you deserve it back do you understand ?" I asked and she didn't say anything
"Do you understand !?" I asked louder and she looked up
"Yes."
I pulled out the driveway before we quietly drove back home and she got out the car before going straight inside.
My hands started shaking before I layed my head on the steering wheel again and for the first time in a minute I broke out crying. After everything, I finally broke out crying.
I genuinely felt like I wasn't doing my job as a mother, as a employee, as a fey-once, as a family member... everything just felt so out of ordinary. Kash really had the nerve to get pissed at me for wanting to do what's best for this baby. It's too late anyways to go another route, but I just didn't feel like it was right to bring a Baby into this world unprepared and mentally unready.. this isn't fair.

Ary-
Me and Shawn continued to sit in silence before I finally sat up and sighed
"Are you okay ?" I asked and he nodded
"How you feeling ?" He asked
"I'm good."
After a minute he sighed before sitting closer.
"I'm so sorry-
"It's not your fault Shawn don't even start that." I sighed and he nodded before I rested my head back and he grabbed my hand
"That shit happened so fast." He said
"When I kept blacking out you were knocked out covered in blood and glass." I said and he looked at me
"It's like I slept through the whole process, my na said I was asleep for almost two days and it didn't feel like it, it honestly felt like a night rest it was weird." I said and he shook his head before I noticed him staring into space
I looked down at his hands to see them scared and bruised up and I furrowed my eyebrows
"Did that happen in the wreck ?" I asked and he moved them
"Yea." He said before getting up and stretching.
"Ima go get something to eat real quick and I'll be back, you want something ?" He asked and I shook my head
"You sure ? By the time I come back ya moms will be back here." He said and I nodded
"Yea I'm good." I said and he kissed my head before leaving.
Kay-
Two days later...
"Kay ?" I heard before the door opened to Ari and she looked around in disgust
"Girl you good ?" She asked and I turned
"I'm tired." I said and she sighed before sitting at the edge of my messy bed.
"Look, You've been going through it... I know but let me be honest for s minute." She started before turning towards me
"You need to get yo shit back together." She said while looking at me
"You don't see me trying ?" I asked
"I see you trying to put up a front, but this isn't you." She said before standing back up
"Come on cousin, we need to clean up this house. Liyah's still at school, I checked on Ary and she's in the room sleeping still, get up." She said and I groaned
"Kayonna get yo ass up." She said again before snatching the covers off my body and I smacked my teeth before sitting up
I threw on one of kash's oversized shirts and Ari tossed me a box a trash bags
"I'm not throwing his shit away." I chuckled
"I'm not telling you too, bag it up and put it in the guest room, stage one of you healing from the bullshit that man put you through." She said and j rolled my eyes before sitting down I front of the dresser
She started playing music as she started cleaning downstairs and I slowly went through me and Kash's stuff before separating his stuff from mine and into the bags
They were all clean, but still had his strong cologne sent in them. All types of vacation shirts, matching shirts, just shit with hella memories behind them.
I snapped out of reminiscing before continuing to bag everything quickly before moving to the walk in closet and doing the same
I took everything downstairs before throwing it in the guest closet and I made my way back up before I started the cleaning process. I even ended up moving the room around and after I finished that I did my bathroom.
By the time I finished Ari was done with the whole down stairs so I went down to where she was
"I appreciate you foreal." I said and she nodded
"Girl I'm family, I'm suppose to keep shit real with you " she told me before hugging me
The door opened to Jr and he had a car seat in his hand with Janiyah trailing behind him
"Hey Kay." She spoke and I gave her a smile before waving back
"It looks good here." Jr spoke and Ary brushed off her shoulders as if he was talking to her
"I know." She said and I rolled my eyes
"Ary still upstairs ?" Janiyah asked and I nodded before watching her and jr go towards her room direction.
It was good to see them getting better. They were doing so good at parenting and baby Omar is doing perfect.
"I didn't get to ask ? How did everything go the knee day ?" I asked and she looked at me
"We didn't even get the chance to get to Kyree's lil ass. He looked like he got the black beat off of him literally, so when we was getting ready to make a love anyways he had his whole crew with him protecting him while he got help so me and Brian just felt like it was safer to wait it out" she explained and I raised my eyebrows
"How did y'all see that ?" I asked
"We was scouting, saw his ass get out the car mad as hell and he was fucked up kayonna like I'm not even playing." She said and my mouth dropped
"The hell ?"
"So if you didn't do it, Brian didn't... who the hell did?" I added and she shrugged
"All I know is he got more then that coming." She said and I shook my head
We continued to talk but after s while the doorbell rang and I got up only to answer it to Zay.
He looked at me and I cleared my throat before looking away.
"Can we Talk?"he asked and I stepped to the side letting him in
"There my Cue." Ari said before getting up and I rolled my eyes
"You're fine." I said
"I have get shit set for tonight anyways, it's a Friday night for the club so Ima make sure shit straight before we open up tonight." She said before hugging me and leaving Me and Zay went into the kitchen before sitting at the island and he sighed
"First off, I'm sorry. I understand where you coming from. I'm a parent and I should've understood where I was in the wrong for not communicating with you first." He started
"And Amoura.. she really is a good kid, her smoking came from her doing it in LA, and by the time I got to her it was just a habit that I couldn't break.. I do have rules for it it though.. like it only being at home and her car." He added
"That's not your fault, it's Liyah's for not walking away from it in the first place." I said
"but I overreacted, I just had a lot on my mental and I took it out on you so I'm sorry, but thank you for looking out." I said and he nodded
"We good ?" He asked
"Just a little bit." I said and he squinted his eyes at me causing him to laugh
"Nah we good." I told him before giving him a hug.
I was thinking about a lot and Ari was right. I need to get my shit together, so a minor set back only sets for mew beginnings..
