❝ see the blonde over there? that's izzy windsor, but everyone around here just calls her a bitch. okay, that's not a total lie, but her name's actually isadora, and if she catches you calling her that, you might as well start digging your own grave. but that's just her effect—putting people six feet below her. not a day goes by where people like us aren't undermined by people like her. although, after her mom died last year, she's become kinda more tolerable. she doesn't go around purposely giving us pogues a hard time. she's kinda like a ghost now, ya know? all sad and gloomy and shit. i feel bad for her sometimes, especially after my dad . . . i guess i get it . . . but, whatever, ignore all that and she's not much different from the other kooks infesting this damn island. if anything, she's kook royalty around here, especially with her dad being this big-shot businessman. the guy's literally a billionaire. crazy, right? so i guess, scratch that, izzy windsor's the kookiest kook princess there ever lived, and kie will vouch for me on that one. you see, they used to be friends. her, kie, and sarah were like the big three at their school, but then shit happened and yatta, yatta, yatta, now kie hates her guts, especially since izzy's still friends with sarah cameron and all those other assholes. on top of it all, she's dating rafe cameron, which none of us can wrap our heads around . . . especially jj, but don't tell him i said that. he's been saying he hates the girl since the eighth grade, but we all secretly know he's got a thing for her. he always has. none of us can understand why since she's what he hates the most in this world—a kook. but that's all she really is—a kook princess. nothing more. nothing less. ❞
