"It's not a double-date! It's a group thing." Lydia said making Allison look over at her with raised eyebrows. "Do they know it's a group thing? 'Cause I told you that I'm not ready to get back out there." The young Argent girl asked from her seat in the back, Sage and Lydia had heard that the huntress was back from France so they decided to all hang out the day before junior year. However, Lydia had other things in mind.
"It's not a date because I am in a very committed relationship but Lydia here has had so many bed buddies—"
"It has not been that many!" The strawberry blonde exclaimed in shock but the blonde just scoffed not buying her complaint. Sage had known that Lydia had met up with a few guys in order to get over Jackson over the summer and that was perfectly fine in Sage's book. There was no harm in a few hookups here and there.
"Speaking of bed buddies, are you telling me that no French men shared yours? We French are known for the passion of love Allison." The young brunette blushed from the vampire's statement, she had to agree that French people were not just good looking but their accent and language was beautiful, but the young huntress was not ready to move on yet.
Allison cleared her throat, "So uh- does that mean you haven't spoken to—"
"Don't say his name!"
"Yeah I wouldn't, I said it one day and she stole three pairs of my Italian heels." Sage glared at her bestfriend, Lydia just hummed quickly looking down at the shoes on her feet, the vampire never did ask for them back so she wasn't really at fault. Especially seeing as she broke girl code;
'Never mention the ex-boyfriend's name that moved to another country.'
"Is he okay?" Allison asked, with a slight giggle as she watched the two. She had missed her friends.
"Well, the doctors looked like total idiots when he turned up alive, but everyone got over it." Lydia stated, "And yes, Derek taught him the werewolf 101, like how not to randomly kill people during a full moon."
"So then you've talked to him?"
"Uh, not since he left for London," Lydia answered.
"His dad moved him to London Lyds." Sage retorted making the girl scoff, "Whatever. He left. And seriously? An American Werewolf in London? Like, that's not gonna be a disaster." Lydia joked earning a chuckle from her friends.
"So, you're totally over him?" Allison questioned but the brunette already knew the answer, and from the look on the blonde's face, she did too.
"Would I be going on a double date if I wasn't?" Lydia said, smiling at the obvious frown on the brunette's face. "Yes, it is a triple date. Relax, it's not an orgy." She huffed. "You'll live." Sage couldn't help but laugh at Allison's demise, but that's what they get for being friends with Lydia Martin.
Lydia gets what Lydia wants.
"Why am I here again if this is a double date?" Sage questioned looking at her bestfriend, she would rather spend time with Stiles or hunt down her sister.
Sage hadn't seen or heard from the blonde since she saw her, she thought that she would have had some explaining to do if bodies started piling up but nothing had shown up. There had been no bodies nor no missing persons in Beacon Hills since Céleste had appeared and that confused the young vampire a lot.
"Because you're my guardian and if I don't like this guy I would want you to get rid of him—"
"You want me to kill him—"
"No! No, killing." Lydia exclaimed causing the vampire to huff, "Just compel him to forget about me and move on with his life. Plus we barely spent any time together this summer."
"Your such a liar. I saw you every day and if I didn't it was because you were hooking up with one of your bed buddies." The vampire glared at her friend, Lydia had just waved her off as they waited for the light to change, Sage had felt her insides warm-up, at first she didn't know what it was until she looked out of the passenger window.
"Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God." Allison lowered herself in her seat. "I can't see him, not now." She squeaked as her eyes fell upon her ex-boyfriend who was currently doing the same thing in his bestfriend's jeep. Sage couldn't help but smile when she saw her boyfriend and the boy couldn't help but do the same when his eyes landed on the blonde.
"Lydia, go! Just go!"
"I'm pretty sure red means we need to wait Ali." Sage mused loving how rattled the brunette was but Allison just threw the vampire a glare, what made the situation even better was that Stiles started to roll down his window despite his best friend's pleads.
"Hey—" But the strawberry-blonde had already sped off into the night, as they got further away Lydia eased up a bit as she turned to her friend. "You alright?" Allison just nodded to her friend but Sage couldn't help but squint her eyes as she stared in the rear-view mirror, they were right behind them but they suddenly screeched to a stop.
Allison gained some composure as she sat up in her seat, "Lydia, stop. We need to go back and talk to them." Lydia had stopped the car in response to her friend but Sage was still a little confused as to why the boys had stopped, well it was Scott and Stiles, they always did weird shit.
"They stopped too. Why would they stop?"
"It's Scott and Stiles, there are no words to describe those two." The vampire voiced her thoughts causing the girl next to her to nod in agreement.
Sage's head turned slightly as her ears picked up on something.
Running.
But the vampire wasn't fast enough to warn her friend because the deer ran straight into the car windshield. Sage cursed as its antler pierced her shoulder while the other two girls started screaming.
The boy's behind them were wide-eyed, hearing the screams and immediately got out of the jeep as they rushed over to them as the three girls got out of the car.
"Are you okay?" Scott blurted out as soon as he was in front of his ex-girlfriend, the brunette just nodded shakily. Stiles rushed to his girlfriend pulling her into his arms as he looked over at her.
"Are you hurt?"
"Fucking thing pierced my shoulder, it's lucky it's dead cause I would have killed it." The vampire seethed as she wiped off the blood on her shoulder, the hole instantly closing.
"Well, I'm okay! I am totally freaking out! How the hell does it just run into us? I saw its eyes right before it hit us, and it was like it... it was like it was crazy." Lydia said freaking out as she wrapped her arms around her waist.
Scott walked away from them to get closer to the deer. "No, it was scared. Actually..." He gulped, his fingers hovering over its fur. "Terrified." He revealed before looking down the road, Sage's gaze wandered in the same direction as the teen wolf, there was nothing there but that didn't mean anything.
Something or someone had scared the deer into killing itself.

"You know you could have just dropped me home right?" Sage asked as she flopped down onto Stiles' bed, after calling a tow truck for Lydia's car, everyone had piled into Stiles' jeep while the human had driven everyone but his girlfriend home.
"Well, I just wanted to spend our last night of summer together." Sage smiled softly at the boy as he sat beside her taking his hand in hers. She loved their late nights, it didn't always involve making out, most of the time the couple just talked about random things, like how Sage met Harrison Ford once. The Stilinski boy went off, he was so jealous but was excited to hear her stories of the boy's hero.
"Well tell me about the tattoo, did Scott realise he couldn't get it because he would heal?"
"W-what you knew it would heal?"
"Well duh. That and it's common sense." Stiles pursed his lips together while he thought back, he really should have seen it coming. Sage couldn't help but giggle at the boy's feature, kissing his lips softly, she pulled herself into him as they both ended up cuddling on his bed.
"You really think something scared that deer into killing itself?" Sage furrowed her brows from the boy's question, animals had a sense of when danger was approaching, it helped them survive but the fact that this deer was so scared it killed itself was something else.
"I've been alive a long time, animals are always afraid of the top predator but I haven't seen anything like this." Stiles hummed softly from her response, the teens couldn't even enjoy their last day of summer without something happening whether that was supernatural or not.
But this was Beacon Hills, everything that happened here was supernatural.

The blonde stared at the house that stood in the distance, she was far enough that the young vampire wouldn't be able to sense her so she wasn't all that worried. The blonde couldn't help but laugh at her sister, she should have known better, falling for a human never ended well. It was a tragic love story waiting to happen, and Sage had already had her tragic love story once, but by the looks of it the vampire couldn't get enough of getting her heart broken.
Well, Céleste couldn't blame her, the human was very much attractive, she wondered if his blood tasted as good as he looks.
A dark smirk painted its way on the blondes face from the thought of sinking her teeth into her sister's boyfriend.
"Let the games begin sister."

Well here it is guys, and I published it on Dylan's 30th birthday!!! I can't believe this man is 30, still sexy as ever. Anyway hoped you guys liked the start of the season, more chapters will be on their way, I cant wait to show you guys what I have in store. I love you all for your support on my first book hopefully I have it here too.
