I was never taught about self love
Instead the people who were supposed to teach me about self love
Taught me about self hate.
When I was slim they said I was too skinny
And called me name's
When I was thick they said I was too fat
And called me name's
They probably thought, they we're making harmless joke's.
But their Word's are now the reason why I carry a big bag full of insecurities on my back.
Their word's are the reason why I hate looking myself in the mirror, scared of my own reflection
Their word's are the reason why I think I'm not good enough, why I hate myself.
I wish they taught me about self love
About being comfortable in my own body.
