I couldn't find my wife on our wedding day. I knew where she could have been, but I didn't want to believe my own intuition. What if she found out Danny is alive and ran away with him. I had to save my marriage, I had to save my love.
I lied to our guests that she was feeling sick, and went into our hotel room. I saw a wedding dress was lying on the bed. I couldn't stop crying. She left me, of course. I always knew this day would come and she would find out Danny was alive, but I've never imagined it would happen on our wedding day. Why not me? Why was this Danny so special? What was wrong with me? Why I didn't deserve her love the way he did? I was devastated, than I heard footsteps from the bathroom and quickly left the room. In 10 minutes Norry came out of our hotel room and told me she was feeling sick that's why she disappeared, of course I didn't believe her. I saw pain in her eyes, her nose and cheeks were red, she had been crying. But I acted like I didn't notice anything, I hugged her and went outside back to our wedding guests with her.
The next morning we were leaving for our honeymoon. Norry was in the bathroom, she was getting ready. Someone left the letter on our porch. It was for Norry, I knew it was from Danny. I didn't read it but neither did Norry. I put it in a safe place, where she would never find it.
I met Norry when she was at her lowest. I saved her life, at least I believed it so. We met each other at the courthouse. Norry was pretty, elegant, unbelievably smart and professional. It was impossible not to fall in love with her. She was perfect but she was broken. Our friendship started with talking about her lost love, I wanted to help her and at the end I found out Danny was alive, I found his address and the reason he left Norry. Even though I was already falling for her, if helping her find her lost love was only way to make Norry happy I was ready to stay in friend zone and see her smile every day even the reason behind her smile was only one man she would ever love, Danny.
The day I found out everything about Danny, I invited her over for dinner, so I could tell her everything in peace. But my plans changed when Norry told me she wanted to try something with me.
Norry: I can't promise that our relationship will work, but I'm sure I like you, after all this time you're first man I'm attracted to and I don't want to let it go. I want to try.
I couldn't ruin everything, so I kept my mouth shut. I decided to make her happiest she'd ever been. In one month she fell for me too. I felt guilty for not telling her the truth she deserved to know, but my selfishness didn't let me ruin my happiness for hers.
