Evie listened from her room to her brother and his crush laughing in his room. She knew things had been awkward between them so was happy that they were getting along.
A few hours later, after Alice had left, both Tom and her with big smiles on their faces, Evie felt triumphant. Her planned had worked! Her brother was happy and that made her happy
