"Why in the world is all the cereal... All the way on the top shelf?" you thought to yourself. Just hours before all the boxes had been on a shelf at your eye level. "I haven't eaten in hours... All I want is a big flipping bowl of cereal." You thought getting even more pissed off then you'd already been. Looking around for something to climb on, maybe the step stool in the dining room would be enough.
Walking out of the kitchen, and through the dining room you saw Riker laying on the couch. He had on some movie, but he wasn't really watching it. The volume was on low, and he had his phone in his hands. He looked up as you walked passed, "Hey, babe!" he said, sounding chipper.
"Hey, babe? Who the hell did he think he was!" You thought, still mad at him from the stupid argument the two of you had, had earlier that day. You didn't acknowledge his greeting, grabbing a stool from the dining room and dragging it back to the kitchen.
Just as you were setting up the stool in the pantry, Riker came and stood in the doorway. "How did all the cereal get all the way up there..." He asked, pretending to be shocked, "Only I can reach all the way up there!" You spun around and glared at him, then turned back to the barstool.
"If you ask me, I'll get you the cereal down, baby." Riker said, grabbing your hand. You turned to look at him, he was smirking at you. He knew you wouldn't be able to reach the cereal even after using the step stool. He had moved the cereal to make sure at some point today you would have to talk to him.
"Riker. Anthony. Lynch. Please get me my cereal." You hissed at him. He smiled stepping in front of you, and reaching up for the box. He stopped just a few inches away and turned back around. "Actually, I have two conditions before you get your cereal. First-" he smirked, "say; Rier, I'm no longer mad at you, and you're the best boyfriend ever.". He looked at you expectantly, you sighed. You weren't really mad at him anymore anyways, "Riker, I'm no longer mad at you, and you're the best boyfriend ever.". He beamed at you, turning around and grabbing the box of cereal. "Oaky, and second... You got to kiss me." He said, leaning down close to you.
You smiled at him, leaning in too. But right before your lips touched, you grabbed the box of cereal out of his hands. Giggling you ran out of the pantry, Riker chasing after you.
