A month later
We finally decided to move to a big house with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living room, a very big garden with a swimming pool. A very big kitchen because she love to cook. There is also a game room (the big cliché) with an arcade, computers and lots of consoles and games. I thank heaven and my parents for all this money.

I'm watching tv. It's been 1 hour since Wanda and Natasha left with the twins to go to shop. It's quite late, but they really wanted to buy diapers and milk. I'm starting to worry because it's been a while they're gone. I was about to call on Wanda's phone when suddenly I hear someone running around the house slamming the front door and babies crying.
I arrive at the door and see Natasha and Wanda with the babies in their arms, completely wet and scared.
Y/n- What the fuck happened ? Where are the strollers ?!
I look at Wanda's face, breathless. There is a slight scratch on her cheek and on her arm. She hugs Elliot very tightly and starts to cry.
Y/n- Shhh, calm down, you're going to choke the baby. Let me take him and you will tell me what happened okay ?
I pick up Eliott, who is crying, in my arms with difficulty as she was holding him like she was afraid he would fall. I turn around and see Natasha examining Alycia as Wanda comes in my arms.

I whisper. I don't even know if I'm telling it to Wanda or Eliott, who is starting to calm down.

Wanda pulls back slightly, wiping away her tears as I walk to the bedroom with Alycia that Natasha gave me before and Eliott.
I put the twins in their beds and take a deep breath trying to figure out what may have happened.
I go back to the hall and see Wanda in Natasha's arms, calmer than before.
N- It's going to be alright honey, the babies are alright and we are alright.
I approach them and I stroke Natasha's back, who continues to reassure Wanda.

Y/n- What happened ?

N- We were on the way to return and it had been a while since I had the impression that the 5 teenagers behind us were following us. After a few minutes they called out to us and they laughed when they saw the babies.

I said putting my hand on a red mark on Nat's wet face.
N- It started to rain a lot and we went home with the babies... They ran towards us and they started talking to us :

The babies sleep in their strollers that Wanda is holding.

The taller boy tries to hit Natasha and trains in an intensive fight. Wanda tries to run away to protect the babies, but a boy grabs her by the arm and scratches her skin.
W- What the fuck ! Leave us alone !
He slaps Wanda in the face and scratches her cheek at the same time
Another boy was going to take one of the twins but Wanda ejects him with her powers and makes a protective barrier appear around the stroller.
W- Don't touch my babies you dead shit !
She hits the teenager in the middle of his face with her fist and he is knocked against the wall.
Natasha knocks out the two teenage boys who were fighting against her. She runs to Wanda and grabs her arm.
N- Let's take the children and get out of here!
They run to the strollers, they take the babies, the purse and run home.

W- Don't yell... Now is not the time. I just want to sleep and not think about it anymore. Please..
Y/n- Okay, we'll go to sleep then.
I take Wanda's legs and put them around my waist. Natasha looks at the ground in silence. I put my left hand on Wanda's back to hold her and walk over to Natasha.
Y/n- Sorry sweetheart, I was pissed that this happened to you two and the babies...
N- It's... it's okay.
I put my right hand on her cheek and I lift her face to mine. She has tired eyes, a serious gaze but with a tear rolling down her cheek.
Y/n- It's okay now. You're safe.
N- I know how to defend myself.
Y/n- I know and I don't doubt it. But at that time there were two defenseless one month old babies.
She smiles slightly, wiping away her tears.
N- You're right.
I bend down slightly and kiss Nat's salty lips.
Y/n- They are safe now.
I tell her putting my hand through her red hair.
Y/n- Let's go to bed now.
I carry Wanda to the bedroom where the babies finally sleep with Natasha holding my hand. After taking off their wet clothes and drying their hair I kiss Wanda's lips and we fall asleep peacefully despite what has happened.
