After an expected Daesang sweep at MAMA 2019, BTS found themselves sitting through one performance after the other, sometimes admiring the talent that was displayed on stage and at other times conversing with one another about what to get for dinner that night.

"Some Hangover Stew would be nice too."
"Tf none of us are hungover though."
Immersed in their own little world, the group seemed oblivious to their flustered/bickering hoobaes and sunbaes at the side of the idol seating area. Reason why? Due to the current seating configuration, BTS was seated as follows:
(Right end) J-hope 👉Suga 👉RM 👉Jimin 👉Jin 👉V 👉Jungkook 👉Seo (Left end)
Since the only available room was to the left of BTS, one very lucky idol would get to sit next to Maxim Magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive for 2019. And because every idol wanted to be that person, it made for what Jin described later as "The most entertaining sequence of events in MAMA history".
First, only NCT and GOT7 had finished up their performances and were getting ready to be seated. Thus, the main candidates for the position were:
NCT's Taeyong, Ten, Jaehyun, Mark, Taeil and Johnny +
GOT7's Yugyeom, Bambam and Mark Tuan
Bickering amongst themselves, the exchange of words between the lovesick boys was amusing to say the least
"F*ck y'all I'm taking that seat. Out of my way b*tches"
"BAM LANGUAGE! U never know where that Dispatch reporter might be hiding."
"Nuh-uh Bam you promised me that next time the seat was mine."
"F*ck dem promises, seat is mine Yugyeom."
"Heeellllll nah that seat is mine!"
"WTF Taeyong?"
"Surprise motherf*ckers."
"Ayo chill out bruh. Whilst u guys are arguing, I'm just gonna sit down."
"Hollllldddd up just because you in the 97 line gc doesn't mean you get first dibs."
"Wut I just want to talk to Jungkook."

If the situation couldn't get any more chaotic, TXT, ATEEZ & Stray Kids joined in the fun, all of them vying for that coveted seat next to a girl who was laughing once again at Jin's dad jokes.

"If you guys could move your fat asses and go sit down that would be much appreciated cuz Ima about to throw hands"
"Bruh relaaaxx, we're just talking about who's going to sit next to Seo."
"Oh well I volunteer as tribute."
"We all did tho."
"BigHit squad coming through."
"HOLD ON. Y'all can't just take the seat bc you from the same company."
"And why not?"
"Cuz that is just friggin unfair dude."
"Life's unfair, get over it. You can sit in front of her and behind her."

After this MiNoR dRaMa, the rowdy boy groups all took their assigned seats, but not without jealous glances towards Exo's main dancer.
"I mean the cousin card is just so rigged."
"Yeah I totally agree."
"Y'all upset just because you were too slow."
"Shut your 98 year old ass up Jinyoung."
Now, the seating configuration looked like this.

Luckily for fans, the hilarity of the whole situation just didn't stop. When Seo was thirsty, Mark of NCT practically sprinted a 100 m race to get her a water bottle. When Seo was cold, GOT7's Mark turned momentarily into the Flash to get her a blanket which left Blackpink and Twice on the verge of bursting out laughing. Not to mention Bambam's repeated attempts to give Seo a handwarmer only to trip, fall, stub his toe AND get stared down by Kai, Jungkook and the rest of Seo's unofficial protection squad (basically the whole of Exo and BTS).
Amidst all this, Jungkook, clearly jealous of the close proximity the other male idols had to Seo, decided to place one of his veiny hands on the inside of Seo's left thigh, which caused basically every other male idol's jealousy to spike through the roof. The international playboy took things a step further when he mouthed "She's mine" to both the younger groups in the back and in the front, with Seo promptly giving him a slap on the arm getting him to stop.
Now you would think the rest of the members would be less antsy about the whole thing but boy oh boy would you be wrong. Yoongi and Jin were conducting 24/7 360 degree surveillance of other male idols, subtedly "dropping" their handwarmers behind or in from of themselves just to sneak a glance at the increasingly lustful eyes of the hormonal men behind their little baby Seo. RM, who was trying not to get caught by the cameras again reacting embarrassingly to a lit performance on stage remained relatively stoic, although his irises would sometimes flare up at stray eyes that were trying to get a peak at Seo's bare shoulders. J-hope well was ... J-hope, evaluating the dance moves on stage while talking with other idols like Kai, mostly about dance move- I mean Seo's security.
The maknae line was for lack of better words, "overprotective". Besides just placing a hand on Seo's thigh, Jungkook would try to pull the smaller girl closer to his hard chest, which wasn't the only thing that was hard but let's not get into that. Jimin, who was sandwiched between Jin and RM did his best to catch the attention of flirty male idols with his own charm and proceed to distract them with a conversation up in lalaland. V meanwhile basically just had a resting b*tch face that told the younger idols to "stare somewhere else or else", which as you would think was pretty effective.
Nonetheless, BigHit's managing staff would look back on this occasion as a success as no idol got hurt or fainted because of Seo's presence.
